I don't know him but I get the impression he thinks he's a lot cooler than he actually is, with the occasional personal, bitter swipes at talent a lot more likeable and over than he is. Graves is a very capable PBP guy but he's absolutely fucking insufferable as a colour commentator.I will say, though, I think in hindsight he's lucky his in-ring career ended when it did because there was absolutely nothing about him as a performer that would have allowed him to stand out in the late 2010s.
