Most people are extremely resistant to amputation even when it *is* the best option. Sometimes even when the alternative is death, like Bob Marley.

That said, it's just a finger, and a ring finger at that. If you're a pro wrestler, you'd be worse off losing one of your toes. It's not like it gives her some big competitive edge in a fake sport. I'd certainly get it clipped by this point were I in her shoes. Bob Marley was also foolish for not choosing amputation.
