WCW died and Vince didn't have a reason to try for like 20 years but by then the CTE already memed his brain into mush. Then the Grant shit happened which made Punks prediction come true when Paul and Steph took over to make everything worse. Meanwhile, AEW squandered all the goodwill they got gifted by virtue of being new and not being WWE, but then they completely kneecapped NJPW, which was already in the shitter. The short and skinny of it is that WCW dying killed the wrestling business.
