Yeah, when my mom was a little girl she'd go and watch the Georgia Championship Wrestling shows in Macon, her favorite wrestler was Argentina Apollo and her least favorite was Abdullah the Butcher. She stopped watching in the early 80s so I've been showing her random matches when I come to visit. Of the ones I've shown her:

Yeah by dad and uncles grew up on AWA and then WWF
My mom got into it in the late 80s
we all stopped watching in the early 90s when WWF went full retard with the job gimmicks.
Cant remember who his favorites were I know my mom was a big Bret Hart fan.

My dad did, we had a great time going to show together during the 90s and aughts.
My mother's never been interested but she told me that her parents would watch the matches back in the 40s and 50s when they were newlyweds. They hated that Gorgeous George.
