I don't want AEW, but I agree that the crowd was quiet here.
Why wouldn't they be, though? It was a match that should have happened ages ago when people cared about Maxine. Now they get a 2 minute nothing of a match with an awkward worked shoot goofy KO ending which didn't progress the story in anyway, no emotional payoff for either wrestler, didn't set anything up, didn't look cool or spectacular or devastating.
Bad storytelling, bad timing, bad segment.

I think there's a lot of AEW fans/IWC folk who stopped watching/caring but keep up with things through clips online so they can moan about things. Much like many do with WWE. They're the type of people who really don't enjoy much of anything, but they can't just do anything else with their time for some reason.
