[sad news] tieo is graduating as a professional wrestler
I look forward to seeing the confidence inspiring games of Shino Suzuki
>>19970017Tieo is Tjpw coded so that counts as a graduation for Tjpw. There is always a graduation every year.
>>19970046no it doesn't
Good morning, u-zu-ra quail egg-flavored boiled egg!!
>>19970017I wished she had wrestled KyoKyo at least one time, but on the bright side maybe TIEO will come back to post fanart again.
>>19970055She can freely watch the shows and lineup for meet and greets also without feeling awkward.
unconventially cuteundeniable auraplus she slings beans at you
>>19970055too based for koda
imagine if she shows up to the tjpw practices
>>19970168Inspiring.
>>19969610I did expect shion to be popular but holy shit. I guess the uncles were really starving for the hikari esque player + the "tee hee I am so shy" type of work on social media paid off.
>>19970189what she posts on social media has no impact on her sales. she was already super over before anyone even knew her name
>>19970017You might have misunderstood your machine translation. She just completed her thesis project and thus graduated from college.
I told you the Shionster would make a killing with these school portraits
>>19970189She's new so she gets the rookie bump, and she's cute and looks cool. She was always going to do well. The Twitter Boxxy shit doesn't matter much. These were her first online portraits available, too.
>>19970321nope, she's retiring too
>>19970321dont japanese people usually get jobs after graduating from uni? would be odd to do all that work and not get a job in the field you spent years studying.
>>19970355>dont japanese people usually get jobs after graduating from uni?
>>19970355Misao could not get a jobola but because of that she found puroresu and the rest is history so it worked out in the end.
thinking of giving TJPW a shot. does this promotion book trannies? I know they employed max the impaler, but I can forgive that if they have refrained from booking actual full-on trannies. give it to me straight, is TJPW based or troonified?
Since losing the belt against MIRAI and Shion’s debut Arisu’s stock has plummeted
>>19970439Yes.
>>19970454yes its based or yes its troonified?
>>19970446it just returned to where it was before she had her title run
>>19970468How stupid are you?
>>19970439How is Max not "fully troonified"?
>>19970439How do you feel about Veny?

>>19970495dont talk to me if you have nothing of value to say. I was asking a simple question and no one is forcing you to answer. >>19970496because max the impaler is one of those "non-binary" weirdos, which is not quite as bad. I still dont like it but I can at least forgive it. >>19970512horrid creature who should be killed
>>19970344chika, kira, ren etc never got THAT boost.>>19970446also was going to mention this. She kind of got lost in the sauce. Remember how over she was beating Miyu? I think that match scored pretty high in the top 30 bouts too. And she's a good worker that does care
I'm fed up of the Mexican shitter
>I haven’t been feeling well lately, and during that time, I’ve once again realized how grateful I am for my health. When you’re going through something painful or difficult, those moments tend to leave the biggest impact on your life, so it’s easy to overlook the everyday blessings and small happinesses. I lay in bed for days, thinking about that over and over.>On my birthday, people around me—family and friends—send celebratory messages and gifts. And when I’m sick in bed, they casually check in with a “How are you feeling?” Once again, I’m reminded that I’m living my life supported by the people around me.>Because I work in a job where I’m in front of people, of course there are times when strangers say or do unpleasant things without me even knowing where it’s coming from. But as long as I have people who truly care about one another, those kinds of people are honestly just gross and irrelevant. As long as I don’t become someone who hurts others and only complains, that’s what matters. I’m sure there are people around me—and beyond the screen—who are having days where they think, “Ugh, it’s nothing but bad stuff.” But it’s okay. If you have the breathing room to scroll on your phone and read a post like this, that’s already something wonderful. The scenery you casually glance at outside might be beautiful, or a child you see with a stranger—mumbling something you can’t quite understand—might be oddly adorable. There are countless chances to feel happiness.>I think things can be taken in good or bad ways depending on how you look at them, and I want to live with space in my heart to always think of someone else. Maybe it’s because the harsh winter has eased a little, or because I’ve grown a year older, but the sharp edges I once thought were part of my personal “policy” have gradually worn down. Lately, more than ever, I want to become someone who puts others before myself. Though of course, that doesn’t apply to people who are being disrespectful.
>>19970806>Anyway, especially when times are tough, don’t overlook the many forms of happiness around you!>With gratitude for my health, I’ll happily head off to work again today.

If it's like the Mexico tour Shoko did with the stardom girls, logic dictates that the tjpw and stardom crew will cross paths and hang out together in their off time, especially if they're all working under the Paragon Talent Agency umbrella. Why wouldn't they hang out with other women from their own country who live in the same city and speak the same language and are in the same industry? And they're all in town for work?
>>19973436Hiyori only had a career because of Emi, you dolt. Hiyori became a wrestler in Emi's company through Emi's training school. Hiyori also got a shoot career via her award winning graduate thesis which was based on wrestling.

>>19974574I mean, it was obvious before, but they're clearly trying to have Arai overcome the odds at Ryogoku. She got squashed by Miyu then beat her in the 6 man match to determine the POP challenger. Of course they're going to have Miu kick her ass a little if Arai is gonna win. Gotta make it seem like she can't win before she does.TJPW doesn't do a ton of ref stoppage finishes, though. Wonder if Miu used a new move.

>Her career aspiration is “professional wrestler”. A 17-year-old high school girl who is completely serious about it and has made her dream come truehttps://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/ed138f3e481c35a446ca6673c6ed9979090466db>Haru Kazashiro, active in the Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling ring, is currently 17 years old. Yes, she is an active high school girl professional wrestler. She will graduate from high school this March and finally focus solely on being a pro wrestler, but until now she hasn’t really emphasized the “active high school wrestler” part.>“I never thought it was anything special. I got hooked on pro wrestling in fifth grade, and before I knew it I had decided ‘I’m going to become a pro wrestler.’ By first year of middle school I was already visiting the Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling office. My parents said ‘at least graduate high school,’ so I went on to high school, but by then I was only thinking about becoming a pro wrestler.”>Applying to a pro wrestling promotion in first year of middle school is an amazing story. At school she wrote “pro wrestler” in the career aspiration section and got laughed at by her homeroom teacher, but she was completely serious. However, joining at that time didn’t happen.>“I was in the brass band club in middle school, and they told me ‘Since you’ve started club activities, please prioritize that life for now.’ CyberFight, which runs Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, really values students’ school life, and that’s exactly why I was able to balance high school and wrestling this far, I think.”
>When middle school club activities ended in third year, she knocked on Tokyo Joshi’s door again and officially became a trainee. At that point she had already narrowed down high school choices to ones that were “easy to commute to for practice and wouldn’t interfere much with weekend tours.”>“So I don’t think balancing everything was as hard as people around me imagine (laughs). Tokyo Joshi has wrestlers like Wakana Uehara who do entertainment work while still wrestling, right? In my case it was just high school instead, so I never really felt ‘I’m so different from the other wrestlers〜’ or anything like that.”>That said, as her career progressed she was increasingly booked in important matches and even title matches. Matches are basically on weekends, but after a tough fight on Sunday, isn’t it hard to go to school on Monday morning?>“There are times like that. But even so, when I commute to school I think ‘Wow, I’m pretty amazing〜’ and my self-esteem shoots way up, so that actually became my motivation to go to school on Monday.”>On days when school ended early, instead of hanging out with friends she started using the free time to do strength training.>“Sometimes I think ‘Maybe I should have done more typical high school things,’ but that thought disappears in an instant. Being able to do pro wrestling makes me happier than anything else, so I have zero regrets!” (To be continued in part 2)

This your international champion?
>Although Fumirin joined a student pro wrestling club in university, she never aspired to become a wrestler.>“From the very first time I saw pro wrestling, I remember thinking the referee role was cool. Back then, Dotonbori Pro Wrestling even had a female referee. As I watched more promotions, I was strongly influenced not only by Mr. Matsui (Yukinori) and Mr. Kiso (Daisuke), but especially by Lee Il-Han. Since she’s the same gender as me, whenever she was at the merchandise table, I would go every time and ask to take a photo with her.”>Currently, Fumirin works weekends as a referee for Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, and on weekdays she performs rakugo and serves as an MC for sumo entertainment shows in Osaka.>“Even though I’ve debuted as a rakugo performer, when you’re still young, part of the job includes playing the taiko drum—what’s called ‘narimono’—or folding senior performers’ kimono backstage. It’s like doing second work in pro wrestling. That’s one reason why Osaka is still my base.>(As for refereeing) compared to my student pro wrestling days, I have matches much more consistently now, so the speed at which I can put what I’ve practiced into action is completely different. I’ve also started paying attention to camera positions. Besides still photographers, there are broadcast cameramen as well, so I’m conscious of how I move in the ring.>Since I’m officiating among women, rather than trying to show strength that rivals men, I think I can bring out a more feminine side. I attended girls’ schools in middle school, high school, and university, so being in a women-only environment feels comfortable to me. I’m really grateful to everyone at TJPW—they’ve all been so kind to me.”>Many wrestlers have high expectations for Fumirin’s continued success. Among them, TJPW’s leader Miyu Yamashita had this to say about her:
>>19975584>“I think Fumirin really fits the atmosphere of Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, and the fact that she’s the first full-time female referee gives her a special presence, which is great. I’m sure there are still parts she’s figuring out, but you can really feel how hard she’s working. She’s multi-talented and such an interesting person—like she’s truly living her life to the fullest… and I like people like that (laughs). I’m also the type who thinks, you only live once, so you might as well do what you love. I’d even like to learn English from her (laughs). We should have Fumirin handle the English announcements too. In that sense, with more overseas fans coming in, I think she’s become a real asset to TJPW.”>When Fumirin heard these comments…>“I’m about to cry… Yamashita is such a huge presence. She’s led this promotion from zero. For someone who’s a pioneer like that to kindly talk to me so soon after my debut—it really gives me something to strive for. I think everyone in TJPW shares a similar direction in terms of what they want to work toward, and each person stands on her own. They’re all so open with me and teach me so much. I’m truly supported by them.”>Finally, we asked about her future outlook.>“I think referees have an authoritative side—we’re there to enforce the rules and must immediately stop a match if something happens. But I believe TJPW is a place where being a girl is fully embraced and celebrated in a positive way, and many female fans watch because they love that aspect too. So I want to become a referee who helps the wrestlers enjoy their own self-affirmation.>Self-affirmation should first be something you use for yourself. And on top of that, I want to help express what makes TJPW unique—the kind of ‘women’s sportsmanship’ where you think, ‘In this ring, I absolutely want to beat her.’ I’d like to convey that from the referee’s side as well.”

>>19975061She wasn't, though. Runa had a dance background so she was the better of the two at the very start in terms of footwork and athleticism. But she missed too many shows for school, got KWAB'd with an injury scare, and then retired/"went on hiatus" (with a big farewell ceremony) while Haru showed up consistently and got really good. Even before Runa quit, Haru was already closing the gap if not surpassing her.Runa had a pretty good running back elbow thing, though. And she did the IKUZO yell and mat pound to show emotion, though she did it every match. Felt like a cheat.
never had the makings of a friendly girl
>The unit “Tojo Tokusatsu Club,” consisting of Shoko Nakajima, Yuki Aino, and Haru Kazashiro, made a powerful declaration:>“We believe that pro wrestling is something that makes dreams come true. That’s why we want children who love pro wrestling to achieve their dreams too. As senior heroes, we want to invite the Super Sentai heroes to Ryogoku Kokugikan!”>They also successfully completed a challenge given by PR ambassador Super Sasadango Machine — the famous “Fireball Ball Return Special Training” from Episode 19 (“Hit-and-Run Girl in Love!”) of Gekisou Sentai Carranger. As a result, it has been officially decided that Super Sentai will appear at Ryogoku Kokugikan.>Which Super Sentai team will attend will be announced soon.>Additionally, the Tokusatsu Club’s opponents have been decided: Aja Kong, Max the Impaler, and Harajuku Pom.>With these formidable rivals ahead of them, attention is focused on what kind of dreams the Tokusatsu Club, together with Super Sentai, will deliver to the children.
Just finished the game. It’s all in Japanese, but I’m studying Japanese right now, so it was good practice. A couple of the puzzles were seriously hard, but maybe that’s just because I’m tired, and my brain isn’t working. Anyway, it was cute. I’m glad they did it. Maybe CA will make them a proper game someday

>>19984007Yes. Aja announced it a while ago, and booked Kamiyu and Shoko from tjpw, for stuff that is relevant to this thread/tjpw.It's in Okinawa, and tjpw has a show going on the same day in Shizuoka. That might explain why it's only those two and not more people we know Aja is a fan of, like raku.
>>19982926Unfortunately this takes Pom out of the running for the Sareee match I was hoping for.Maybe they can still do Sareee vs Raku.
