The Drew run probably only happened because Cody made it happen. It succeeded greatly in refreshing the main event scene and introducing new players, but an issue is that he was a smark favorite 'the heel is right' guy who they cheered, which diminished his chance to actually get his own heat as a heel. So, we got what he had thi# Smackdown, and a very silent entrance and the boos only start when he went face to face with Cody, because they are booing the guy facing Cody, not him himself, and the narrative is that 'Drew deserves the run', so... what are you going to do with that?
