>>20040894I was at their tapings in Albuquerque, I liked his hardcore match (or whatever they called it) with Rich Swann. They have a few guys like that who are good with crowds but obviously don't have a very high ceiling, Elias/Elijah is probably a better example. Mustafa Ali though is straight up too good to be in that company, he must be a huge flake or a dickhead to everyone to not have had a better career. With his in-ring and his presentation there's no distinction between him and almost every TV main eventer in WWE/AEW, even if that's an indictment of the general state of the "era"

I think he was actually liking it again when they sent him down to NXT again until he got fired. But I don't think it's impossible he'd go back now that Paul is running things. I think he's definitely made people realize how good he is in TNA.
