Both of the promo faceoffs between Punk and Roman soared past 1 million YT views in a matter of hours on their way to multi-million views. The relatively tepid reaction to the Uso confrontation video, meant to promote a match that must draw immense public interest, could very well lead to more late-WCW style desperation booking decisions.

You have to figure that pressure is now being (justifiably) put on Roman to show up more than six or seven times over the first four months of the year. He and his schedule bear the most blame for this apparent loss of momentum in generating interest for the match.

Should the Punk vs Roman program end up failing to meet the financial expectations of TKO, I can foresee all sorts of ways this could lead to a reemergence of the hatchet recently buried by Paul and Phil. The blame game over the Sika idea might prompt Phil to arrive at a post show with cupcakes and a bag of homo seltzers.
