This is the destination for all based webms, brother
On tonight's docket: Four nights of New Japan Cup action, NOAH Apex Conquest and more!
>>
The source quality for this one wasn't very good but oh well
>>

Thank you ESPN
And thank you for the OC!
>>
>>
I don't know what the fuck is going on in the Jake Lee-verse anymore.

Ya just gotta love it
>>
The cartoonier Hartley is the more he gets over with me.
>>
Things like this is why I'll keep considering Owens underrated.
>>
>>
>>
>>
Such a good sequence. Oiwa selling the jaw is sick too.
>>
>>
>>
The hair pull mat slam is one of my favorite underutilized heel basics.
>>
>>
>>
Love this finish. Keeps Yuto looking strong and gives Oiwa the win which is crucial both for my bracket and my mark booking.
>>
This opening OWNS. Oskar goes from "you really gonna let him get away with that?" to "alright kid you're fucking done" all in facial expressions. It's awesome.
>>
I remember someone mentioning they wanted to see more uranages in NJPW, and here's Wolf using one!
>>
What the fuck is his problem?
>>
>>
Milano's pop for this was HILARIOUS.
>>
>>
Extremely based
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>
I don't like Drilla Killer not being a guaranteed win on hit, but at least Yuya sold it really hard after. I really hope people don't stop kicking out of it, it's, like, the one piece of identity Moloney's got left.
>>
>>
>>
>>
God. Brutal.

theres a bit in that match where the ref is scolding Chase again for closed fist punches so Chase just open-hand slaps Umino in the face and the ref goes OKAY and it was the funniest thing I've seen in a match in some time
a very simple match but the kind that Chase can work perfectly

>theres a bit in that match where the ref is scolding Chase again for closed fist punches so Chase just open-hand slaps Umino in the face and the ref goes OKAY and it was the funniest thing I've seen in a match in some time
I think that's the exact spot you're replying to.
>a very simple match but the kind that Chase can work perfectly
I feel like he's been wrestling at 120% this whole tour. I really think he's got a solid spot on the roster.
>>
Bases
>>
>>
Boltin fucking LOVES to do this spot and it looks so painful every time.
>>
>>
>>
On the topic of Chase wrestling his ass off this tour, I'm not the only one who thinks the tags on this match have been surprisingly great, right? Even just on top of everyone's energy being great, there have been some really standout matchups on this tour so far. KOB vs. Wolf/Yasuda and Oiwa/ZSJ vs. Nagai/Tsuji were especially good, in my opinion.
>>
>>
Fucking loved this finish. More of this Fujita, please.
>>
>>
Can you please do the following El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. from this match:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49AWvmtBTn8

- entrance with name plate
- missile dropkick
- clothesline
- roll up to a powerbomb
- electric chair powerbomb
>>
>>20062261
I've been meaning to check out Wagner's stuff in WWE since he signed, so I'll happily do that. Will probably be for tomorrow's thread, but I'll watch the whole match to make up.
>>
Should've not tried to sandbag the TOP GUY lil bro
>>
Love these kinds of knees.
>>
>>
>>
That's all for me for today! Tomorrow I'll start out with the HdDWJr request, then move onto NOAH Apex Conquest and probably close out with some King's Road! Thank you all for hanging out tonight. I'll see you then! Goodnight, bros.

Time for 「 OURCHAMP」
>>
I love when matches are based around unpredictable shoot circumstances. These guys' previous singles match was severedly hampered by Inamura getting a concussion from one of Kenoh's head kicks, so naturally they go all in on it in the title match. Good stuff.
>>
It's hard to capture in webms, but Inamura's OUT after that kick. It takes him almost five minutes to even start recovering.
>>
And when he does start waking up, this is what it looks like.
>>
I normally don't love this combo, but the sweep and stomp is smoother than normal. Still not huge on it, but notable still.

It's time for us to walk down the King's Road! First up is Taue & Kawada vs. Kakihara & Takayama 19.07.1998.
>>
Kawada just can't handle someone having the same color as him.
>>
God I love Takayama.
>>
>>
Takayama's got such an underrated dropkick.
>>
Kakihara managed to book a date with his own personal executioner. Kawada and him had a singles match on 11.09.1998.
>>
>>
And I'm going to close out with Akiyama vs. Ogawa from that same show! One of my favorite Ogawa matches, and a great example of him being underrated given that basically nobody talks about him and this match is great.

OGAWAISM ICHIBAN
>>20068790
Always happy to have you here, brother.
>>
Such an Ogawa counter. He's so crazy influential.
>>
Akiyama's big enough now where he can really put the beat down on people, and he does NOT like Ogawa's attitude.
>>
That's just smart wrestling!
>>
>>20069007
>>20069051
Noice!
>>
>>20067477
Jesus, I've been missing some good stuff
>>
I love that Ogawa specced into "legal punches". I don't know enough about Memphis stuff to say he was influenced, but it makes perfect sense to me as part of his arsenal.
>>20069112
I've loved Inamura's reign, he's easily my favorite champ in Japan right now. The Kenoh match was full of bombs, I'd recommend it.
>>
>>
Such a good combo.

That'll be all for me for this week! Next week I'll have the NJC quarter-and-semifinals, and hopefully I'll have gotten my hands on a GAORA rip of some of the recent DG shows as well. I'm sure I'll come across something else too, and if not there's always King's Road! Thank you all for hanging out yet another weekend. I'll see you then, bros! Goodnight.
