It's odd watching her cut these cunty heel promos as everyone on the broadcast and in the crowd treats her like the face. I can see people turning on her soon. She sounded like a bully tonight, and I don't think she's even aware of it.

Punk has been the same abrasive and braggadocious hardass for over 20 years. He got over talking himself up and others down. AJ got over as the endearingly "crazy" girl who hopped around and got into schoolyard crush storylines. The popularity she won with that character was strong enough to carry over into this newer and far more unlikeable one. IIRC, she began cutting promos like this after Punk left but before she stopped wrestling for WWE a decade ago. She has taken that to another level on this latest run, and I think she comes across like a cunt. She isn't "bullying the bully" Becky at this point. AJ is the bully herself.
