What were they thinking? Just put it all on youtube and make us sub if you have to. Too much footage is just sitting in a warehouse doing nothing.
They posted the WWF Bloopers video!
>>20140255WWE hates you and just wants your money. Buy an external hard drive and torrent everything you can
>>20140277finna based
>>20140255The issue is Netflix. Netflix paid for the back catalog, but they're too fucking lazy to upload it. It's kind of out of WWE's hands at this point.
>>20140277This is sadly what I had to resort to. I've been basically recording stuff from there (or that used to be there) and some other promotions since August. I still have about 400 episodes of stuff to record.
>>20140255It's the era of everyone sharing their episodes from their hard drive servers bro
>>20140299there is no way Netflix has any intention of uploading everything, and WWE knows that and doesnt care. at most Netflix is expected to upload all of Raw (and dropping the ball) and maybe Smackdown, but that's it. not the ppv's, all the other shows or ant of the other promotions catalogue that WWE has purchased through the years
>>20140255The historic library isn't as valuable as you think. They went through all the trouble of putting it all on the app, but most people only watched the new stuff anyway.
>>20140369I know, but to me, they really only have to upload it once on like youtube. Even if only a few people click on it, they can still get some ad revenue. Otherwise, it's just being wasted in a vault.
>>20140396They're uploading a lot to YouTube, but I think it's better for them business wise to upload stuff in bits and pieces. A huge dump of content probably wouldn't get as many views as trickling it out.
>>20140406I agree, just I'm probably going to be dead long before it ever gets uploaded.
>>20140369Exactly. Very, very few people are going to sit down and decide to watch a random episode of Raw from July 1997. When WWE Network launched, it was a neat novelty, but people lost interest in exploring the back catalog fast. It's the same issue Disney+ is having. Very few people are actually interested in going back and watching an old Goofy cartoon from 1944.
>>20140277WWE gave everyone a huge amount of content for 9.99 and smarks complained and said WWE is le evil. At some point self-reflection has to take place
