Miz was an OK promo in an era where everyone was scripted, because he's not a complete idiot like most wrestlers. But it really is like, put him next to most of the best talkers in any era and he just comes off as a job guy cutting "THIS TOWN STINKS" promos. It's a role that works, but unfortunately, his second problem is that he sucks ass in the ring and wrestles way too fake. "B-but that's smart" nigga, nobody is asking him to do some AEW shit, but jesus christ, he wrestles like a complete bitch, it's hard to take any offense serious from him. He really should've watched Lanny Poffo or even Honky to learn how to sell throughout a match and get heat wihtout getting hurt. He'd actually be good.
