'The Greatest Man That Ever Lived'
>>
Sadly worked himself out of a job like Low-Ki.
>>
>>20141821
A good lil hand
>>
>>20141821
He's genuinely been a great wrestler since he came back, better than a lot of people in the mainstream, which makes his career decline funnier in retrospect.
Aries would be among all the remember-when mid-40s indie vets having a surprise late career resurgence on national TV (think Sabin & Shelley, Eddie Kingston, Mark Briscoe, Roderick Strong) if he wasn't the literal biggest retard in the industry. Impossible to feel bad for him, but it wasn't a lack of talent that held him back.
>>
>>20141821
Manlet who's ego was way bigger than it should have been.

FTR Hair at home

What makes him the greatest man to ever live?

>if he wasn't the literal biggest retard in the industry.
Qrd? What did he do?
>>
>>20141834
Good comparison. They both had talent, I imagine even the most heightfag smark could admit that. But I think Aries could have been Bryan level if he learned to not be retarded. Low Ki probably wouldn't have gotten that high but close
>>
>>20144521
>Aries
Is such a whiny bitch even Cornette got sick of him despite admitting he's a great talent. Such an asshole he got fired from ROH, TNA (twice), and WWE. In his last TNA match he no sold the finish at Bound for Glory after a long title reign and flipped off the fans
>Low Ki
A huge mark for himself who would bitch anytime he had to lose for any reason, even when not pinned in triple threats or whatever. Shoot knocked out a bunch of guys by working too stiff. And would shoot on dudes for botching. I don't mean just a receipt, he kicked the shit out of Amazing Red and I think shoot knocked him out too doing so.

Honestly if you get fired from TNA your career is probably done.

I actually liked both guys but it's objectively hilarious how delusional they were. Here's Low Ki's receipt for a relatively minor botch

>Is such a whiny bitch even Cornette got sick of him
How is that supposed to be a bad thing
>>
>>20144659
Cornette is also a whiny bitch himself and usually likes people like that. Punk, Matt Morgan, FTR, Aries, and probably dozens other I'm forgetting. Yet Aries was so insufferable, Cornette couldn't work with the dude.

Has LowKi ever done this to someone over 5'8?
>>
>>20144772
Of course not kek. In his short WWE run he just quit over trying to shoot on people. Actually, I forgot a funny story
>Low Ki is champ of Jersey Pro Wrestling (I could be wrong but JPW sounds right)
>booked in a triple threat
>thinks the booker is trying to screwjob him and freaks the fuck out
>security has to drag him away
>pic related
I probably got some details wrong but I believe that's the origin of this picture kek
Honestly if the dude took a chill pill he'd probably been at least at Ziggler level

Two of the very best indie wrestler ever, along with Brian Kendrick. They legit could have been Benoit level good had they kept up the pace and not been absolute retards.
>>
>>20141821
Manlet faggots like him killed the business
>>
>>20144866
killed what business? the only business this guy killed was his own career and he never wrestled anywhere that mattered (wwe 205 live never mattered)
>>
this question is a bit unrelated but how the hell has aries not gone bald yet? last time i saw him in wwe he had a really bad receding hairline
>>
I remember a brief period where it felt like Austin Aries was going to become Vince's next favorite pet project on Raw announcing and then I forget what happened to him, he just disappeared.
>>
>>20144599
based

He was good announcing 205 live.

Aries, among with the stuff the other anon mentioned was notoriously difficult to deal with and for that he was at least once politicked out of job for basically no reason :bullying the ring announcer, as a heel. It was just an excuse to get rid off him. The Cornette debacle happened because Aries was injured and working as a manager in recovery but getting high talent pay, Cornette stupidly thought he was just a manager at that point and wanted to cut his pay - and Austin didn't obviously like the pay cut even though the company was struggling and he wasn't worth as much as a manager for the show.

Never recovered from the time Wendy’s twitter KWABd him
>>
>>20145514
This is so fucking funny. Imagine sending fake tweets asking for permission to wank to them, they're forced to encourage the wanking. if they reply natural they'll get fired

some guys' hairlines recede to a certain point and basically just stay there for most of their lives
and he has thick hair in the back, so he can just style it and it looks fine. the bald spot in the back getting noticeable is usually when guys shave their head, but the crown is the part of the head that's most receptive to hair regrowth so it's basically a non-issue if you can afford rogaine and shit

What a fucking mark kek
>>
Everybody loved Aries in 2012 and his winning the BfG Tournament and ending Roode's reign was extremely well received.
>>
I find it funny how manlets who try to compensate get more hate around here. Aries, Gresham, they all do shit to try to cover up their shortness and it makes them unlikeable. Just embrace it bros.
>>
I liked Aries during the Gen Next run and his 07-08 years in ROH which is funny because he didnt start the greatest man gimmick with Weezer as his entrance song until 2009
>>
>>20147230
the "option C" stuff was fun, i remember TNA in general having a good year or so around then before squandering it again. Aries is a good "streets won't forget" name, it makes sense if new/zoomer fans have barely heard of him
>>
>>20147230
his tag team run with roode was kino and one of the rare instances of a heel v heel feud that didn't result in one of them turning face
>>
Never takes a night off. Intense skill. Has a bit of Benoit energy. Could have also taken his WWE announcing gig for a multi year run like Tazz but decided to keep going in the ring.
