>"Membership club services in the nature of providing discounts and special offers to members in the field of retail sales, special event planning, marketing, and subscriptions; Administration of a discount program for enabling participants to obtain discounts on goods and services through use of a membership; Advertising services; providing consumer product and services information via the Internet and mobile applications; Membership club services, namely, providing on-line information to members in the fields of branding, business development, business marketing, and marketing"

>Some fans noticed a ‘Club WWE’ logo on screen a couple of times when last night’s episode of SmackDown went to commercial break, though there weren’t any specific mentions of it or references to it other than it being on screen for a brief period of time.

>Based on the trademark filing, it appears Club WWE will be some form of subscription membership that could potentially give subscribers certain discounts and special offers on WWE products, whether that be tickets, merchandise or anything else.

>The wording in the filing also suggests there could be a specific website and app for Club WWE members.

>Ultimately, whether this will be a success will be dependent on the price point and how it relates to the perks received – especially since WWE has been under a lot of scrutiny as of late for the cost of tickets.
