His matches are boring on purpose. It's called technical wrestling, chud.
>>
Shit thread.
Bret's the GOAT and literally right about everyone and everything, by the way.

"Technical wrestling" is the most meaningless term because people use it to lump together "build to a finish" traditional psychology guys like Bret, big spot oriented guys with a real rasslin gimmick/background like Kurt Angle, and Twister-playing guys like Zack Sabre Jr., just because they all use submission finishers. It says nothing about how they actually work a match or convey their ideas in the ring.
Bret matches as a whole are closer to Randy Savage matches than they are to Danielson or whoever the fuck people swear he's in the same "genre" of wrestler as. When you watch him with that in mind, Bret is fucking awesome.
>>
>>20148549
Smarks do be saying this.
>>
>>20148562
Yup, he's the GOAT alright . . . GAYEST OF ALL TIME!
>>
based Bret reminding all wrestlers that the matches are supposed to look like a real fight.
>>
>>20148562
He's not right about Hogan. But than again, I think he's just protecting the business and really respects Hogan and knows he's the main character. It's obvious, the way he fell in line during the nWo days.

>Shit thread.
that's the only part of your post that's true
>>

Wrestling would be 100x better overnight if wrestlers learned to throw good worked punches again. It's not incompatible with flippy midget shit, old lucha guys threw great punches, so there's no excuse.

The highest level of smark enlightenment is realizing that a technical wrestler is just a kayfabe categorization based on the moves they regularly decide to do, and not an indication of talent.

I'm listening to a retrospective of Hart in the WWF (late 90s) and the narrator is praising him as if the fans turning on him was all according to plan.

I lived it. Bret did not want to be a heel. But he saw the Rise of Austin and knew his time was over. Hell, if you ask Bret, he's the guy backstage that got Vince to push Rocky Maivia.
>>
Brets matches are anything but boring. Fuck you
>>
>>20149577
Agreed, it was his promos that were boring.
>>
>>20149577
what’s fun about watching a guy in a hold for a minute?
>>
>>20149596

>Books shouldn't have chapters, it should be one long paragraph from start to finish
Books are those things that other people read while you're jerking off to weeb joshi shit
>>
>>20150255

>>
>>20150255

>the matches where he's praised are never praised in detail, only that "it's good"
>no webms/gifs of him doing stuff ever were popular on the internet (only his facial reactions if anything)
>never drew a dime
>got worked into a shoot by Shawn and Vince
>thinks wrestling is real
>moveset consists of punches and sharpshooter
Yeah I'm thinking it was Bret in that gay magazine
>>
>>20150357
>never drew a dime
literally kept wwe in business after nash and hall left
>>
>>20150406
he's in the top 10 worst drawing champions of all time
>>
>>20150415
business was awful in the early 90s. even hogan as champ was only drawing 3k attendance in 1993

>>
>>20150918
it’s funny since he has a shoot interview with samoa joe where he says in their 60 minute match they were running through their moveset and running out of moves. but since he heard cornette shit on guys saying it all of a sudden he’s too cool to say it
>>
>>20150918
how else do you want to call it?
>>
>>20149155
>mmmmm those strikes were too pure. I’m telling Vince
