just go on a coke bender like davey
>>
>>20219106
One of these days I have to sit down and watch this entire match to see how 'fooked' Bulldog really was
I know Bret's considered a great wrestler but I can't believe he's that great to pull a good match out of a guy who's that much under the influence

Just turn everything off that you can turn off and make it as pitch black and quiet as possible while keeping things as comfortable as you can. Then lie down and close your eyes. You may not get sleep but you'll at least allow your body to rest and maybe even get a nap out of it.
I've got a thing I've done since I was a kid, I imagine lil fellas in my brain flipping those big industrial styled switches off while they call out to one another like, "legs shut down, no movement" just a checklist type of deal. Because I've got this habit of moving my legs when I can't sleep because I had awful 'growing pains' in my legs when I was like 7.
I actively avoid stimulation like wrestling when I go to sleep.

did boy davey have a tan for this match?

The Summer of 1992 was such a great year for wrestling.

>hmmm, today I will go on a week-long crack bender with Jim "The Anvil" Neidhardt right up until I'm supposed to main event this PPV
what the fuck was he thinking?

Kek autism

Thanks but I actually habitually come here or watch wrestling at bed time because it puts me to sleep. That's how bad wrestling is these days, it's stronger than any market sleep aid.

How nice of Bret to tell this story on how he singlehandedly carried this match all by himself after Davey Boy died and couldn't dispute him on it
>>
>>20222262
Lol it's definitely over exaggerated. I just watched the match again and you'd think Davey Boy would be Jeff Hardy TNA fucked up but he just seems a bit off. If anything it sounds like he just hadn't slept for a dangerous amount of time and the adrenaline of Wembley going nuts for him just got him through it. Him saying he's fooked was probably just a passing comment.

Literally Bret and Owen were the only members of that family that had and sense of self control and restraint. Owen was probably the cleanest of all of them, and he went first.

do you really think it's that unbelievable given how he died? bret was basically straight edge compared to him
