Rolled up to Dave & Buster’s, and got to watch Dynasty for “free” …had some food, drinks, a desert, played games. Missed the first few matches, but damn, that was a surprisingly entertaining show. I haven’t watched a full wrestling show since WK in January. I lost interest in AEW awhile back, and could not care less about WWE. So, it was refreshing to enjoy a wrestling event again.
Ordered up some good as fuck slop. The lady and I went for a 7 mile run earlier, so no guilt in having a single night of shitty food. Kind of spaced out during this tag match… never really care for Edge/Cope. I like Christian, but he’s pretty fucking “grizzled” at this point. FTR still seem legit in-ring, idk how their storylines have been lately though. Good, respectable tag champs I’d say. Mad I missed the Young Bucks vs. Okada/Takeshita match though. I’m sure that was more entertaining for my tastes. What I did see of this match seemed good, hard-hitting. Glad FTR won. The food was delicious, I’m used to oats, chicken breast, veggies, rice, etc. having something pumped full of sodium and chemicals… I can see why most people are sick all of the time. This shit could easily be addicting.
Dessert came next. My MotN was Thekla vs. Hayter. Holy shit, Thekla is awesome. So is Jamie, but I was already was familiar with her being great. First time seeing Thekla, and I was really impressed. Great in-ring, great energy, great character work to the crowd and camera. Like, she is light years ahead of most of the other women in any company in my opinion. Legitimately fantastic match for me. The dessert was fucking insane bros… sugar is dangerous as fuck.

Omega vs MJF was good, but seeing Kenny now… idk makes me sad. He looks tired. I think he’s had too many injuries and too much damage. Honestly, the match seemed like it was carried by MJF’s ability to bump. I used to not care for MJF, but he’s gotten pretty decent based on this. I was rooting for one last Omega singles run, but I don’t think he’s got it in him now. Not physically, and not mentally. I ended up being glad MJF won - a surprise for me.Overall, great show. I’ll check out the next PPV. Never going to watch any weekly tv show though. Probably not going to watch Wrestlemania either. AEW has a small window to keep me hooked if the next big show is as good or better than this one.
