The RKO to McAfee was a nice surprise moment I didn't see coming, so I'll give them some credit for it. McIntyre vs Fatu was the second best match. Both guys deserve to work with a better Creative Department. Their storyline was too basic. Rollins vs Gunther was disappointing. Bron's return was predictable, but there needed to be a clean finish in order for this to feel like something more than a Raw match. I was hoping to see Rollins win clean with a super stomp or something before Bron sneaks up from behind and spears him. I could've lived with a clean Gunther win too, even though I feel Gunther could rebound from a clean L easier than Seth could leading into a Bron feud. Too bad HHH lacked the balls to book a clean finish. Everything else was bad to really bad, with Vaquer and Liv failing the hardest. Night 2 is gonna need to be amazing. It's already looking like WM42 is destined to be ranked in the Bottom 10 all time.

The ONLY interesting part was when the crowd continued to booo Cody and he started leaning into the heat a little bit. But then they immediately retconned it by doing the double double triple turn and having Cody win as a pure face again. Everything about that main event was a confusing, slow, weirdly-vibed mess that was doomed from the moment Pat’s music hit and he came out by himself.
