I do think the amount of commercials on ESPN is a problem. The ads on the mat, the match sponsors, I don't care about any of that stuff. Every combat sport does that and it's not a big deal. It's the commercials between matches that I do think are a legitimate issue.

One thing that WWE is always excellent at is their video packages. They put together these videos that briefly recap the story and get you hyped for each match. In the Peacock days, at least if you paid for the ad free tier of Peacock, they'd play these video packages for you before each match. This keeps you invested, and it was very helpful for casual fans who might only watch the PLEs. On ESPN, typically only the main event gets a video package now, and these ad breaks are very long. It does hurt the flow of the show. That's my only real issue with the ESPN deal, where Peacock was definitely a lot better in this regard.
