WWE was supposed to be the one place that was above selling every square inch to the highest bidder...
>>
>>20283295
Yeah it wasnt that long ago that when you watched a WWE show there was no ads on the ring or any of the led boards, they held out for a long time

Someone always brings up how real sports do it but it's so jarring for WWE because it's a children's variety show, it would be like if Peppa Pig or Barney had ads.

said who
>>
This would not have happened under Vince.
>>
>>20283295
Damn yes a new mortal kombat movie
>>
>>20283337
m8. Peppa Pig and Barney are the ads.
>>
>>20283409
Who do you think sold the WWE? This is all because of Vince you stupid motherfucker.
>>
>>20284081
Vince only sold WWE to keep it away from his scheming son-in-law Cunter and his bitch daughter Steph. And now the ads are appearing under their leadership. Fuck them both.

TKO has ruined wrestling by creating the concept of putting sponsors on the mat.
>>
>>20284117
looks like shit too
>>
>>20283295
Literally who gives a shit. Why are you staring at the ring mat during the match

After I become a WWF Mountain Dew champion I'm going snap into a Slim Jim and then call my mom using 1 800 Collect, oh yeah!
>>
>>20284095
Who raped you?
>>
>>20284122
You're talking with someone who is actively looking for things to complain about. He does not want to enjoy the show and he never will, but he will never stop watching.
>>
>>20284095
Why didn't he just give it to Shane then
>>
>>20283409
>>20284095
are you thise deluded? fucking retarded nigger. ari emmanuel is the one that calls the shots. if he was on top and vince was still around yes these ads would still be around. you think haitch likes these ads over the ring? he used to be a wrestler of course he hates that shit
>>
>>20284095
>Vince only sold WWE
Exactly. Vince sold WWE. It was his decision. He could have handed the keys to the kingdom to Triple H and Stephanie like EVERYONE expected for decades but his stupid old ass sold the company to another entity and now forever and always WWE will only exist as a property of someone who like TKO who's going to dictate ticket prices and put ads and commercials fucking everywhere they can. That's because of Vince
>>
>>20283295
>WWE was supposed to be the one place that was above selling every square inch to the highest bidder...
I would ask if you're retarded but we already know the answer to that one
>>
>>20283295
In the course of negotiations, Vince communicated to Ari that the WWE ring mat must remain free of advertisements under all circumstances. In response, Ari assured Vince that no ads would be placed on the mat. However, Ari proposed that should the eventuality arise where ads are featured on the mat, a penalty of $50,000 per advertisement would be imposed, payable directly to Vince. After careful consideration, Vince consented to this provision, albeit with some reservations.

Apropos
>>
>>20284141
Technically WWE and UFC merged to form a new company called TKO and Vince was the biggest individual shareholder. He sold his shares after getting outed because of sex scandal.
>>
>>20284141
Cunter and Steph have been in control of creative for like 20 years at this point. They wanted full control, and Vince refused it. That's why he sold to TKO, who only employs them. They can, and will, be fired at earliest conveninence.

>>20284128
Your mom. I pretended I wasn't into it because that's how she gets off. What a slut! BTW, your dad is a cuck. Thought you should know.

>>20284133
I agree that Ari, and others like Nick Khan, are actually in charge of things like that. Cunter is just running creative, and he's doing a shitty job as usual.
>>
>>20284217
pretty sure his stock were always for sale
>>
>>20284117
M'honorable Yoshinoy, Lawsons, and TCG ads are more kawaii and respectful than disgusting ads for American insurance companies, Saudi tourism, and credit cards.
>>
>>20284285
>control of creative
This has nothing to do with advertising, ticket prices, or any of the actual bad things about WWE today. You can cry over creative all you want, that's subjective. And is also something I don't think Triple H has nearly as much freedom as people assume he has with it
>>
>>20284355
>This has nothing to do with advertising, ticket prices
I know. I even said as much in the post you quoted.

>or any of the actual bad things about WWE today.
The 50/50 focus on womemes is 100% coming from Haitch and Steph and started before the TKO merger. And it continues today.

>You can cry over creative all you want, that's subjective.
Nope. WWE is objectively dogshit.
>>
>>20284285
Last we knew Stephanie was the biggest individual TKO shareholder with nearly 2 million shares (see public filing via Wrestlenomics). TKO is a public company where any employee including CEO Ari can be fired if their board of directors vote for it.
>>
>>20284408
Women's wrestling isn't bad. You're just an incel
>>
>>20283295
And then Vince ruined everything by forcing his way back into the company to sell it off to TKO
>>

What did WWE mean by this?

Really hate that part desu
>>
>>20284141
Well who you think sold Vince out anon? Messages that got outed already showed he kinda knew wat was up. That was a last fuck you to Steph the back stabbing bitch.
>>
>>20283337
Maybe not peppa pig because it is animated, but Barney fucking have ads

No it isn't kek
>>
>>20284117
Firstly, that sucks too. Secondly, they didn't have 75 years of adless rings, only to fill every single square inch the moment ownership changes hands like E-slop
>>
>I wish WWE was more like New Japan
>NO, NOT LIKE THAT!
>>
>>20285891
And why did they do that? Because Vince couldn't just let go and hand the company over to someone else to keep it running. Instead he had to fuck up and stop paying Janel and get as deep into bed with Nick Khan as he did and then of course sell the company. Vince should have stepped asides ages ago. At least a good 5 years sooner than he was forced out. It's his fault
>>
>>20283295
I wouldn't care if it just meant no commercials on PLEs
>>
>>20283295
how are they going to project maggots into the ring now? They're NOT
>>
>>20283409
Vince is the retard that sold it to (((them))). It's honestly sad. He took the company National in '84 and even though he was laughed at, through sheer will made himself a billionaire. Even if it was just one of Ted's many subsidiaries, he still beat him and bought WCW for peanuts.

Basically spent his entire life fighting and promoting some gay shit like wrestling and WINNNING. Only to sell it to the same group of people who probably laughed at him when he was younger and watching his creation turn into nothing but another advertisement avenue (and I work in advertising) for the people on top to make more money off his companies name.

Vince NEVER wanted ads on rings because he hated how it looked. And I'm sure many times over the decade people asked him to do it and he told them to fuck off. And now look at where it is, for nothing. Could've just kept it with family. Sure he fucked up, but by now, he probably would've been brought back in.
>>
>>20284122
Should I be looking at social media instead of the location of the wrestling match?
>>
Remember when smarks complained about njpw have sponsors? me either

I can't believe it
