That would be so cool
>>20286685let Tony cook
>>20286685Ban together? GOOD MORNING SAAR!
>FUCK WWE!>lets make WWE 2
>>20286685AEW could run the show a week or 2 before Mania, theyd get the attendance benefits. Same weekend would be a bad move imo.
>>20286685>wrestler talent show where fans vote on the winnerDoes he mean like a variety talent show or voting on who does the most movez
>>20286685it's so funny how they claim to hate WWE but are so principled as to use it to get their biggest gates every year
>>20286685>AEW>major stadium showThey can barely get more than like 2000 people for your average Dynamite taping. The only reason they draw well in the UK is because they only do one big show there a year (with diminishing returns each time). I think doing WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia is a bad idea too, but how are AEW fans delusional enough to think if AEW books a major arena that people will suddenly become interested in AEW and sell out the show?
>>20286685so.... a con
>>20286685I do expect Tony to run some event in the US on Wrestlemania weekend next year.
>>20286771the companies and wrestlers don't care it's the smarks that are projecting their misery onto them
>>20286777You underestimate how much money the indie shows draw on Mania weekend. Of course AEW couldn't draw a mania crowd but if promoted right the slot is open in the US
>>20286904I could see a bunch of indies picking a random city and doing their own "IndieMania" type thing on WrestleMania weekend, but the idea that it's all going to center around a major stadium AEW show is just delusional thinking. It's the same as all of the WWE marks that thought Raw on Netflix would usher in a new boom period.
The big problem is AEW brings more to the table than any other non-WWE promotion can. There's not a lot that can be done about it. You could combine every promotion that isn't WWE or AEW. That show is drawing 1,500 people max...and probably not even that. WWE and AEW just have too many people signed and neither produce stars as quick as they could. There is more wrestling than ever before. It's easier to watch wrestling than ever before. And most of the time it's either free or less than $10 to see. Yet absolutely nobody but the hardest of hardcores really cares. Even the vast majority of message board fans are satisfied with only seeing one or two shows a week.Pro wrestling fans just do not support wrestling that well especially compared to soccer, where a 5th division club can draw more than what wrestling does on average without a problem. I don't know how you fix that problem. With all that being said, Tony would be an idiot not to run something during Mania Weekend next year. Those Saudi Mania shows have to basically be over by 4-5PM max. He can score some big points by running in a place like New Orleans, who lost their Mania.
>>20286685PWH is clearly pissed that he didn't start wrestling eight or so years earlier, because otherwise he might have been the guy to fund Bucks/Kenny/Cody instead of Coach Tony.
AEW-ROH-CMLL-NJPW-TNA-NXT present:>ALL IN 2027 TEXAS STADIUMFeaturing:>KISS
Does New Orleans have anything bigger than the Smoothie King Center but smaller than the Superdome, because that's what AEW should aim for.
Tone would never try to do this is American soul because he knows that the real pull for all the retarded fans that gill these indy shows during the WM week is the WWE brandHe's unable to cope with the humiliation that will follow after the failure of whatever united front he tries to pullThe only thing he can do is passive-aggressive tweet like a little bitch for his dozen of followers'fraidon do
>>20287117he tried to do something similar for All In (or at least proposed in in the documents he tried to withhold) and none of the other shows ever happened and ticket sales were so-so. The main thing here that the OP post is ignoring is that these shows make money and draw crowds because Wrestlemania draws all the biggest paypigs every year. Assuming they'd still show up for a smaller show is a stretch
