Unironically, the New Blood/ Millionares Club was probably the best thing for Hogan in a long fucking time, because his character showed an edge and it wasn't just some hokey 80s thing. Another thing is that Hogan was falling on his ass 300 nights a week on those hard as fuck WWF rings. (Listen to how loud that shit was back then). Phil had a huge run but even then walked out by 2014 and had seven years of rest while getting his ass kicked twice in UFC during that time. The guys of today have it a lot easier with schedule, and not having to appear as much. It's not like Hogan appeared that much on Nitro (famously took breaks and showed up only when he knew the number was huge regardless), but he was a presence for such a long time.
