If we are being honest CMLL never gave their women's division a platform within the main Arena Mexico because people are not engaged with women's lucha, the crowd is always trying to get over rather than supporting the luchadoras in their matches even in big events.
Imagine like it's the NXT crowd but not supporting their talent.
The only accolades women could get was when they did crosscrountry matches like when VAQ won the NJPW strong championship, but you get downs like when then they jobbed to horsecedes.

What's quite surprising, and paco is gonna seethe again, is that Vaquer got good on her own outside of CMLL and was the only one with actual technical skills that she did her best to pass on to some of the other girls. As for the rest, promoters should drop the whole women's revolution lalala nonsense and just advertise matches. Good matches get good reactions in CMLL and elsewhere, whether it's women or whatever in the ring. I mean the women's matches were really really good just as CMLL's business was turning upwards and it's not a coincidence, shit's entertaining and even beautiful when it's done well. But almost nobody buys tickets to a wrestling show to see "women", everyone buys tickets for wrestlers they like, men or women, whatever, it actually doesn't really matter, terminal incels and terminal simps alike don't leave the home anyway
