I’m sure this looks familiar to a lot of you guys, it’s probably amongst your most prided possessions. And I never really thought much of it, the boomer paranoia was laughable, but as wrestling fan I can’t help but notice how it’s ruined the great sport that I once loved. Wrestlers don’t care if they botch, they don’t even try to cover it up. And the fans don’t even care anymore. They’ve all been given participation trophies their whole lives, the wrestlers have no inclination to improve and the fans don’t even know they should expect better. It all makes be very sad.

>>20447304this has been happening for over 20ys in wrestling. before the attitude era the titles meant something and only a very elite few ever held any. fast forward to today when every jobber has held dozens of titles. the worst example was the mania when not one but two vanilla midgets won world titles.
