>>20467204I don't know what WWE offered him or what AEW signed him for. The guy is set financially regardless and given his story I don't think he's still doing this solely for money reasons. Because of that I'm more inclined to believe what he said about WWE wanting to cap him at 10 matches a year being the biggest reason he didn't re-sign there. I want to say he wrestled more matches in his first year in AEW than he did across his entire return run in WWE which only backs that up even more. He's slowed down a fair bit in AEW over the past year or so with longer gaps between matches. More tag stuff. So I could see him revisiting things with WWE when his AEW contract is up. Maybe that's wishful thinking on my end. I'll support the guy wherever he decides to be, but I think finishing things out where he started as Edge would be the right way to do it personally
