Jericho's feud with Rock during the invasion was great though, it was only when he won the undisputed title so he could lose to HHH that they started booking him like a real chump

All of Vinces guys like Bruce and Pat wanted it to be Angle but Vince wanted to give the opportunity to Chris to get something fresh. Angle made so much more sense and the match at WM with Triple H would have been so much better

It was purely people getting lost in him leaving WWE and marking too hard
He has always been an amazing mid/upper card guy but there are plenty of guys in NA wrestling history that gap him.
