Pretty much every match he'll be the underdog fighting from the bottom, and he has his signature stuff, but he'll always make sure to do at least one different thing that stands out to kind of be the centerpiece of the match, and or think of an original finish that takes people on a ride. Examples being the go home to his match with Gable, or even little things like he always gets thrown to the outside, so what if he baseball slide and flops out the ring, then he makes a new variation of that and used it as offense to splash a guy. He's been doing new shit for like 30 years straight because he sticks to his strong basics and mixes it up little by little so the fans have something they are familiar with and know what is going on, know what point of the match they are in, but will always get a little surprise seeing something go down differently.A good amount of familiarity is needed for the audience in wrestling, but too much or too little brings about a negative result. Either SoS or 'they're still kicking out? It could have ended there and I would have been happy'
