But it seems there is a bit of mystery to the whole thing. Who is the mysterious Aether Foundation who is seemingly funding the whole thing? Why is the Alola League Champion taking such an interest in him? Why is Amon Meowthnip for the local girls? He will have to battle and grow and of course, hang out at the beach, explore, and maybe even deal with the local deities.>Thus far they are at the Battle Carnival, Stars(the Champion) and his rental Comfey are the only Pokemon on the field. Misty Terrain blocks status conditions and boosts fairy for example. Grassy Terrain slightly heals all Pokemon while it's up and boosts Grass type moves. I didn't use it because...well I was following your lead. If I felt I were to fight my way it would kind of impede the point of training." Stars explains. You look at him exasperatedly. Kadabra and Stunfisk sigh in relief as they feel the healing energy. "Okay! Now use Petal Dance on Stunfisk!" Comfey spins and launches pink rose petals made of energy at Stunfisk. When they hit a green explosion hits the field and Stunfisk faints! "Woah. One hit." Amon says in shock. "Terrain are a great way to boost moves. Plus it was super effective." Stars says. The remaining opposing trainer moves. "Okay Kadabra! Use Confusion!" Kadabra telekinetically slams Comfey onto the ground. Comfey without warning shoots out more petals. "Protect!" Kadabra's trainer cries out. It puts up a barrier. "Kadabra just lost. Should have dodged and then used protect on the 3rd time. Or just keep dodging. Watch." Stars points out. Comfey keeps shooting out petals nonstop. Eventually the Protect barrier fades out and Kadabra is battered and with the Grassy Terrain boosting it Kadabra is knocked out in the next hit. "Plus all the damage we did over the course of the match still applied. Also remember to call me Kiryu once we head back. I'm in disguise remember?" Stars said. "Kadabra and Stunfisk are unable to battle. Amon and Kiryu are the winners!" The ref announces. The crowd claps. A dizzy and confused Comfey falls to the ground. "Petal Dance leaves it's user confused at the end. Comfey good job! Return!" Stars returns Comfey. "We legitimately would have lost if she tried dodging and succeeded. Remember that in a Pokemon battle you gotta think about the move after the next move you do as well. Little details can make or break you at the professional level." "Kiryu" says. You sigh. "I'll try to keep it in mind." The two head back. Hilda whom you lost your summer love V-card with you dog you. greets you. "That was pretty good Amon. You got a ways to go though.">"Maybe I can get some training from you instead?">"Yeah but I knew I would win in the end." Amon says trying to sound confident.>"Honestly I don't feel like I won. Croagunk fainted...">Write in.
