It didn't take long for the awe of the security to be turned towards your Mobile Suit with direct retaliation.

You freeze, the unfamiliar environment and the situation of being shot at with rifle rounds to no use quickly spiralling out of control as you scramble to take notice of the piloting deck.

There's levers and switches for everything in it, the movement controls are similar to the GINN's but the rest...

"What's the hold-up?!" The semi-robotic voice, soundly oddly animated calls out as you flinch! "Don't tell me you know jack about how to-!?" The voice startled you as you held to your movement controls...

And hefted forth, releasing your first steps from the MS carrying compartment as you stomp flat a humvee and spread away security far from it, the ensuing explosion lightly shaking your step as you take notice of arriving SAM platforms.

"Take down the Astray Frame! Aim for the center of-!" You panic, quickly flicking switches on instinct as you engaged a weapon interface, targeting reticle dropping to your eye level.

"CIWS? Dammit, It'll have to do!" Acknowledging quickly the nature of the Vulcans, you prime the firing reticles as your systems let you know the level of elevation they'd have.

As the green mobile suit lets out a spray of Vulcans from two head-mounted cannons, the SAM's and approaching Humvees receiving the shells dead-on ahead as they blow up, scattering the security as you suddenly found your firing stopped.

"Hey, Hey! Don't spend them all in one volley! We're barely armed as is!" The voice once again resounds over your cockpit as you finally let out a gagged breath.

That was... That was extremely close and heart-racing.

"Grenel! Over here!" You hear out Allan as they raise and wave their arms for you to notice "Rip the top of the container of the truck we crashed!"

He... Did mention the cargo was MS weapons

You couldn't believe your eyes at seeing these...

Beam Rifles in proper.

"Type 71 Beam Rifle, scanned and locked in." As you pick it up, the voice runs a brief system diagnostic as it adds it to the list of weaponry recorded within your system's macros.

Aside from the Two Beam Sabers You realized this Mobile Suit had tucked behind its shoulders... There's a shield and-.

"Pick that up, We'll definitely need that later." The robotic voice chimes in as you hover over a strange, green-painted rifle with a sharpened handle and stock.

"O-Okay, who or what are you?" You had to step in as it aided you, quickly scanning and recording a Twin-Sword Rifle.

"You don't know? Sheesh, you're slow." The machine sasses you as you just stare upwards of your cockpit with incredulity "Name's G-four, designation Rod dot Zero. But it's a mouthful, so..."

You take a look towards your status interface as a typeface types out a phonetic pronunciation...

"Garodo? Huh?" You blink puzzled before the machine lets out a sound that approximates a whistle.

"There you go! Just on the first time, Knew the word would fly off the tongue for ya." You are even more puzzled by how animated this... Artificial Intelligence?

It has to be one, and a very advanced one if it's this lively and used for MS coordination.

"Alright, Grenel. How're you doing up there?!" Allan calls out to you as you intently look for munitions of any kind "Didn't you listen on the briefing, Dummy? The rifles are fed from the suit's battery... At least for the G-!"

Allan suddenly froze as their expression turned panicked "The damn G-Weapons! Grenel, we need to get back to Morgenroete! Forget the spacemen. ZAFT can't steal our shit!"

You finessed as you tucked the beam rifles into hardpoints of your MS' hips, quickly helping Grene exchange the empty MS carrier with the semi-depleted weapons cache cargo on the non-totalled truck.

As he remarked of this one officer he saw trying to gather survivors to crew the Archangel... As well as the GINN he had previously mentioned

>Go with Allan to the Morgenroete hangars... Try and defuse the MS hijack situation.

While you had your doubts in regards to this one GINN...

You let them slide as another objective of your infiltration presented itself by off-handed mention.

"You remember who it was that told you about the Archangel?" You ask away during one intermission, using the Mobile Suit's hands to clear away debris and both abandoned and destroyed vehicles from Allan's truck.

"One petty officer, Neumann, I think... Believe he was one of the guys posted two weeks prior when these shipped." Allan commented as the better part of his concerned panic was reigned in "What're you suggesting?"

You stop your train of thought for a moment, wondering if you're predictable before continuing "I'm saying... We aren't the only ones that weren't knocked out or died from the explosions, Maybe some of the guys manage to board the G-weapons-."

A quick scoff was his immediate answer "Grenel, It was only because of you I'm still kicking instead of buried in rubble. I don't want to think about the rest of the pilots after seeing the base during that attack." His cut-off seems to be out of coping with the stress of the hijacking.

"I still think reinforcing the Archangel's our best bet... We need a way out of here if colony security's on-the-know about this suit."

"Oh, They know. Not like they can do anything about it though." The robotic voices chimes in as Allan sighs on the other end of the comm line.

"Alright, that's... Strangely making some sense coming out of you." Allan changes roadside direction as you look off and away...

Plumes of smoke and the trail of destruction leading into Morgenroete proper.

Mu La Flaga darted away, blitzing past Moebius and Mistral debris as a GINN makes the mistake of following his ruse.

Promptly getting its thruster jets perforated by Linebarrel fire before exploding from the successive chain reaction.

"Where'd that guy and his mobile suit go?!" Mu exasperatedly called as he weaved off pursuit, his spine chilling as a connection is made once again.

"We meet again, Mu La Flaga!" Mu's instinct weaved off the White CGUE as it thrusted ahead of them.

"Rau Le Creuset!"

That, was the name of The White Phantom of ZAFT. Tangled in fighting with the Hawk of Endymion ever since the start of the war.

Mu had acknowledged the fight was all but lost for the alliance, one singular Drake-Class of the whole fleet remaining, at least station side.

But he had an ace up their sleeve now that the ZAFT ace had dared to come upfront in a duel... So long as that same Ace followed suit upon their word

>Fool's Mate = 3 (Majour Failure)

Miguel couldn't believe it as their main camera feed went dead with a single stab.

This Gundam machine... It has those same damn knives from the Mercenary!

Stumbling blind and back, Miguel tried to command their GINN back into shape, using auxiliary cameras to tht effect.

This did not help him as the Gundam weaved aside of his limited sight, Warning alarms beginning to blare inside of their cockpit

As Miguel's helmet sustains a strong blow from scrap metal bending and warping from within his cockpit, Fatal damage finally ensued on his machine as Heliopolis' artificial light peaks out.

"Get awaaaay!!" The alliance pilot yells as the proximity of both Suits bypasses the comms interference.

Athrun couldn't believe his eyes as the sound called for his attention.

The Strike Gundam had made Miguel's GINN explode.

"Migueeeeel!" Calling out for their superior, Athrun was distracted from the far more preoccupied matter he was tending to.

>Shieldbreaking Dagger = 7 + 15 [ 22, Majour Failure ]

Athrun was kicked away by the unknown MS as it ignited its beam saber for the first time, having bid its time in the brief scuffle to analyze its opponent before pressing the offensive.

Leading the young ZAFT redcoat to press upon the sequence of button inputs he had avoided until now, the Aegis's hull and armour suddenly gaining a red sheen as he raised the machine's arm!

The armour quickly applying its effect in contant with the saber, sparks and pressure being exerted upon it as Athrun finally found the time to activate one of the Aegis' leg sabers!

And activating it, the Mobile suit pulling back in the last moment as Athrun finds the opportunity to pull back.

Taking notice of a green normal suit floating away from the now burning wreck of the GINN, the Strike Gundam toppled down by its explosive wave.

Dashing forth, Athrun's mind focuses on following the exfiltration protocol, his respite for Miguel's safety being barely eclipsed by the sheer dresd almost meeting his piloting match and Rusty's death had caused him.

"Goddamn it! That Alliance pilot is going to pay!" Miguel cursed away, as Athrun followed the exit from the Colony's industrial sector through the very same maintenance tunnel, a worrying thought suddenly crossing Athrun as he forgoes reading his energy levels...

That... That was Kira... But why?!

Truthfully... It had been far more daunting to actually find the Archangel than expected.

"Fuck you, Natural!" Margellan chewed you out as you let the onboard coordinating AI do the work of clearing rubble for yours and Allan's passage.

Not that it didn't, uncharacteristically for AI's, try to weasel out of it.

"So... I've been out for a whole hour? How's everything going-!" You cut yourself off as Margellan commands evasive maneuver over the bridge.

"Le Creuset sent two whole ships from the formation ahead, But three of the G-Weapons had arrived to the Vesalius just fifteen minutes ago-! CIWS! Trail ahead of his position and deploy Chaff if he enters Linebarrel range!" You hold your chest tightly as Margellan gives a short list of updates...

Most hauntingly, that of the five ships, excluding the Nemo as a support vessel, Only the Vesalius, Gamow and Tolstoy remained

"But... You seemed to have gotten the best part of it, What G-Weapon did you get?" He asks away as... You had to be clear of the truth "... You're saying Morgenroete was manufacturing their own MS from the Alliance tech?"

It sounds... Absurd, far more than them developing them FOR the Alliance.

But it was the truth, as strange as it was...

"Hold on... What do you mean there's a Mistral with a ZAFT IFF floating towards us?" Margellan asks away for a status report of that abnormality before clearing his throat "Seems our spy managed to get away with the commotion, hope you enjoyed your nap. 'cause I'm going to whoop you on priorities when you get-!"

You stop him from getting livid as you finally eye and declare your prized info.

The Archangel.

Getting off the Mobile suit as you aided Allan and the Cargo get into the loading bay after clearing the misunderstanding of an unknown MS approaching it...

Well, to say he's throwing you to the wolves is putting it a bit heavy, but on-the-right-track "This was your idea, Grenel. Go tell the news to the command post while I get everything settled and comfy." Grumbling out, you take notice of the mechanics crew joining Allan in gawking at the Green-and-White Mobile Suit, the latter entering the cockpit as he flashed you a thumbs up.

"Le Creuset wants the damn thing scuttled after we learned about it, see if you can sabotage or convince them to give up... I put my trust that you don't fuck this up or let the ship go down with you in it" Those were Margellan's orders before signing comms out and...

To put it lightly, it's starting to dawn on you that you may have overestimated your capacity for espionage.

Still, you find yourself thinking how you'll accomplish your objective at this point, shuddering at the idea of failure as you acknowledged the gloom and low morale the surviving crewmen have after the Morgenroete bombing.

It scares, yet, serves you that from the looks of it. It's heavily looking like a skeleton crew of survivors

It was evident that the crew of the Archangel, however sparce and demotivated...

Well, it still was willing to give a shot to running while ZAFT didn't know about them, buried within Morgenroete's ruins.

You breathe in at that realization, looking over to technical staff doing manual checks on the systems of the Archangel as you moved in to check...

"Hey! You brought in that strange MS, right?" One of them comments as he noticed you, making you startled in mid-air before trying to shrug it off.

"Y-Yeah, what of it?" You try to ask away as the engineers faces grow grim.

"Well, Head Mechanic Murdoch's having a tough time trying to access its database... You didn't get it beat too hard against a GINN? We can't tell if it has Phase-Shift or not." That... That might have been the virus Margellan had given you.

Still, you enter one chamber as the staff exits it, taking a brief listen to the droning pumping of liquid fuel...

And preparing yourself as you take one static look to the thermo-electric generator basis that all Alliance ships work with.

Mu did an exaggerated barrel roll as one of his Linebarrels is cut off, centrifugal force allowing him to line up a perfect shot with their main railgun as they blew it up in front of the white CGUE chasing them.

The devil's luck really biting on his heels as the Mobile Suit came out of the billow of smoke, no worse for wear.

Gritting their teeth, Mu acknoledged that he couldn't keep playing hard-to-catch for the entire Mobile Suit squadron to focus on him, as Le Creuset's custom machine closed the distance...

He could see, Nevertheless feel, The Drake class losing control of their thrusters in evasive maneuvers, as the small carrier vessels crashes against the colony!

In a moment, Mu acknowledged that only forces from within the colony would be alive to aid him...

"This is it! Finally to end this connection once and for all!" As Mu gritted their teeth, He found himself suddenly clinched by Le Creuset's machine, Rifle aiming squarely at their cockpit as Mu retracted their Gunpods from their Moebius-Zero.

Yet, it was with a simple flash that green light beamed ahead of Le Creuset's CGUE, his machine and pilot clearly reacting in advanced as they tried to dodge...

Yet, singed straight by the Green Bean shot through the right shoulder, Le Creuset couldn't believe having been marked by some other pilot.

And Mu La Flaga... Felt confident as his Ace-in-the-hole finally surfaced.

"Commander Le Creuset!" A black CGUE Sped up as they caught and pulled the White Mobile suit from its schocked stupor.

Right as Mu escaped and reunited with the Ace from the East-Asian Republic, Their Mobile suit's rifle smoking slightly before the void of space cooled it.

"Took you long enough, Amado! Ready to-?!" Mu confidently ribbed at them only for the focused pilot to ignore him, blasting forth in a direction.

"ZAFT took all but one of the G-Weapons, I'm in pursuit!" Was his remark as Mu followed along, before he found his machine blocked from rifle fire by Amado's MS Shield.

The Two CGUE's ready to counter-attack as their rifles let out to sink the brand new model.

"Let them! The last vessel out of here's sunk! Let's cut our losses!" Mu responded as their linebarrels dispersed the two high-performance MS' formation right as Amado's mobile suit shot at an intercepting group of GINN's with...

The terrifying power of a beam rifle, each squarely-aimed center-of-mass shot confirming a casualty.

"Not all! You know what I'm talking about." Lowering the rifle, Amado begins shooting the approaching CGUE with a head-mounted vulcan as it is forced to pull back.

"Beam weapons?! I have to be careful eith this new model, It wasn't in any of the reports!" Le Creuset's thoughts were immediately in a haze at not only this new model's appearance.

>Follow up strike = 23 + 20 [ 43, Minour Failure]

But by the lone fact the Pilot could not only keep up but succesfully bar them from assailing them. Le Creuset having picked up a stray feeling of a plan.

Right as Mu's Moebius left for the colony "Commander! He's escaping!" Fleuret commented as they kept the new model busy while shooting at them.

"Not for long, Fleuret, keep them busy... La Flaga is only sealing his grave within the cold walls of a Colony"

As the Lieutenant let out an affirmation, charging ahead towards the new model as it holstered their rifle and pulled a Beam Saber from their skirt...

Le Creuset had one goal as they dashed away into the service tunnels of the Colony in pursuit of La Flaga.

Mu, on the other hand... Had a goal he didn't quite put too much faith in.

"The Archangel's isn't going down unless it's shot at directly... Find it and the remaining G-Weapon and get out!"

Mu could only grit their teeth at the Far-East ace from the secret Alliance force held out their one and only hope to the latest battleship. As Impossible as it seemed, He could make it possible.

You... You've done what you could, at least remaining unnoticed.

In theory, there should be a short when using an excess of energy, you supposed it beginning to try and fly within the atmosphere of a Colony will do that.

So you skulk out, unnoticed as you made your way back to the hangar, already noticing the mechanics crew turn to you.

"Oi! You!" An aged voice called out for you as you turned, noticing a stubbled middle aged man "What the hell did you do the system code of that damn thing?! It's corrupted and Illegible!"

Getting shooked by the shoulder by them, you're unable to really answer them as the cockpit of the Mobile Suit opens up "Grenel, you ass!" Jumping out of it and floating towards you, Allan throws curses as he veers off-course, smacking on a rail with their back "Get your dumbass robot to stop sassying me and let me pilot it!"

For your part, The MS, in clear surprise by the startled reaction the stubbled man has to turn behind you, turns their head and responds to Allan "Yeah?! Screw you too!"

"That thing can move on its own?!" The older man yells out as you pull off from them, your ear slightly buzzing as your hidden transceiver is getting an incoming call.

Excusing yourself inside of it, as the stubbled-man identifies themselves as the head mechanic, lets you know that the standard resupplying service if the Mobile Suit couldn't be done both because of the corrupted code from the virus you had used...

And Allan intently trying to see if he could pilot it for their own.

"Margellan, What's going-?!" You ask before being cut off by battleship orders barked.

"Natural! We need you out here!" He yells out, commanding anti-beam depth charges deployed "The Alliance had a model we didn't know about, it just sunk The Tolstoy!"

You were trying to respond only for the cockpit door to open up.

"Hey, Grenel, We got an SOS request from the overseer of the G-Project out by Morgenroete's hangars. And we also got someone willing to move the damn thing... Somehow" Allan chimes in as you kill the transceiver's signal.

There were three present options you could even take as the Archangel is prepared to exit the hole it had found itself safely hidden in.

>Report on the SOS signal as requested, It could be a trap... Which works for you.

"I have... No fucking clue how we're getting out of this hole." Allan comments to you as you grab the MS' shield from the connection port in its forearm.

"Alright... Grenel Loos, Launching!" You comment away as you drop off the hangar bay's opening "Let's hope the way I carved around still works..."

It evidently still did, if you moved around.

Now, the interference in the colony's subsiding as you made your way out of Morgenroete's ruins.

Enough to notice the trucks outflowing from it, as you widen your eyes.

"Hey, I recognize those storage units! They're from the G-Weapons project!" The AI voice calls out as you held out your breath in panic.

Margellan said there was an unknown model... And accounting this one and all these outgoing ones...

Just how deep and how many did Morgenroete produce-.

"Not!" The Ai suddenly lets out a simulated guffaw as you sweat cold "Should have seen your face! That Cargo's far too small to be anything but-!"

"Don't pull my damn leg, you hear me?!" You yell at it as it quiets down "I'm in a lot of crap right now and I don't need you feeding me-!"

Your complaints go silent as you finally see it.

The trucks stopping along the way as you see it for your own eyes.

"First Lieutenant Allan Parsec. I hope you have a plan, Ensign Badgiruel." Allan pulled themselves over to the bridge.

After all, even with the diminished atmosphere, A Moebius couldn't launch within the colony... Even less when they weren't armed or supplied.

"Prepare CIWS for surfacing off the hangar! Nominal countdown to top combat speed!" The woman carried out her orders before staring at her nominal superior sitting down placidly into a CIWS targeting computer "I don't understand... If you're-."

"Zip it." Allan quickly shuts down the train of thought of the captaining woman "I'm a pilot, not a Commander. Not a single word of it. You understand?"

Badgiruel frowned, the rather coarse reply they got bypassing standard military etiquette before focusing ahead.

"Charge Lohengrin cannons for exit."

Allan blinked twice, looking back at the woman with dubious trepidation at the absolute overkill...

Then again, ZAFT troops could be right outside.

Allan focused on manually aiming CIWS in such a case of that happening, giving one last look at the skeleton crew helming the bridge before focusing... Putting his full trust on Grenel in case everything went south.

Mu struggled to avoid fire from the White CGUE that had followed them along the maintenance tunnel, Mu noticing the structure and environs quickly revealing themselves to be one of the atmospheric rings of the inner side of the colony by now.

Truth be told, Amado's plan normally would have been reckless at this point... But with Le Creuset now personally hounding the Hawk of Endymion... Surrendering wasn't an option

Though, losing sight of the CGUE in their aiming reticle makes him grit their teeth, Mu already looking for a loose part of the ring to make his entry into-.

Just as his spine tingled, impacts soon parting onto their linebarrels as Mu's forced to eject them all in quick succession.

The unspent rounds and the machinery impacting the Orbital Ring as Mu's forced to run deeper into it.

To say that there are eyebrows raised as you approach is understating it.

A single woman, Held in shock as the civilians amongst her look as pale as death itself.

It... Would be obvious, given ZAFT had just barged into their lives altogether, A Mobile Suit seemed so unlikely to be seen in a neutral colony such as this... And for all the various ones they've seen...

"I'm with the Archangel, First Lieutenant Grenel Loos." You talk away into the integrated loudspeakers of the Mobile Suit as the woman eases down... Before seemingly explaining away to her audience.

"I suppose your unique circumstances made you avoid the full brunt of the explosion, Loos." The woman raised her pistol however, as you finally closed in "But that Mobile Suit... Where did you get it?"

You heard your slowly accelerating heartbeat pacing as you acknowledged the obvious. Allan was a lucky pass, but it seems like this woman actually knew the person you're impersonating.

"It's... A long story, I-." You tried to explain only for the woman to futilely held her pistol towards you.

Right as you pull away the Twin Sword rifle at it, hearing a sudden whimper from comms outgoing from it.

"What're you doing?!" The woman calls out once more as you snap back hurriedly.

"What is it doing?! Woman, I'm trying to help and getting this worked up-!?" You cut yourself off, the backpack piece finally clicking with a resounding latch as the Strike's colour comes into foray.

A weapon protruding from its shoulder as your hands tremble.

"That is-!" The woman suddenly took notice of the surprise activation "Shut it down, I can take over from-!?" The woman pulls their pistol towards the Strike as it decidedly pointed its large, cannon-like weapon at you.

"L-Leave us alone! And the colony as well! We don't want anything to do with-!" There's a strange spike of emotions as the young man i. The Strike used their loudspeakers "Lieutenant Ramius, go and leave with-!"

"Who do you think you are ordering me around!?" The woman called out as she pulled in a young asian man with a hoodie to her side, wincing as it moved her bandaged wound "Shut it down this instant, Kira Yamato!"

Desperate cries from the civilians and the Strike's pilots come out for this... Kuzzey, now being taken hostage...

And yet with all this tension in the air, you look up, instinct suddenly calling out a warning.

As one of the orbital rings of the colony explodes, an Orange Moebius and a White CGUE coming out of it.

Is that the Alliance's remaining G-Weapon? The connection is not coming from it but...

Natarle Badgiruel could only try to stoically and in accordance with Alliance protocols. Measuredly keep on ahead after the attack on Morgenroete.

With all communications cleared to be dead outside of the colony now that the jamming had been de-intensified. The objective had become cleared.

Survive at all costs, The data of the Archangel far too important to vanish from the Alliance

"Tonomura, Dalida. Run the power -diagnosis!" Natarle called out orders as the remaining crewmen scrambled to that effect "Romero, Parsec, Combat speed reached, Standby for-!"

"Yeah, Yeah! Get that cannon lined up. We're going to front-end our way out as it is." Allan commented away as he gritted his teeth.

Natarle wanted to chide at them for their unprofessional behaviour, but as the power report came A-Okay... It soon came to the order to fire.

Your tension is suddenly broken away with as the hairs behind your neck rise up.

"Eyes Up!" The mechanical voice calls out away as you pull your rifle aim and raise your shield behind you, shielding your mobile suit...

From the Blast-Wave ensuing, The Strike almost being knocked away by it as it is forced to kneel...

The brief surprise of it all allowong the civilians beside their feet to overpower the Lieutenant, freeing their hostaged friend and seizing away her handgun as they toppled over their limbs.

T-That's the Archangel!

And just it flew off away... You noticed it begin to list downwards.

"What the fuck is wrong with the gravitational pulley?!" Allan calls out from the open comms channel.

"We don't know! The engine just shorted out of nowhere! Mechanics crew can't fix it until-!" Another voice cut themselves off "Contact! White Alicorn- It's The White Phantom!"

"All manual weapons lock targets, Crew, Brace for impact!"

That moment... You had a cold sweat as you could see the Archangel beginning to free-fall into the industrial sector as it busted its way out...

As the white CGUE chased away into you, Blitzing speed already having them landing just beside you, Heavy Blade in hand.

Your eyes go wide as you're forced to jump away, dashing from a cleaving strike from Le Creuset's GINN.

What the-?! Why-?!

"This mono-eyed idiot wants to tango?! Let's get 'em!" The AI commands as your Mobile Suit's movements are coordinated to shoot at their cockpit-!

Something you struggle away out of as you heft your shield forth, the AI letting out a confused hum as you ignored their suggestion.

>Stalwart approach = 51 [Minour Success]

Gritting your teeth as the impact of another blade strike in your shield reverberates across your whole Mobile Suit, you pull back, strategically minding your distance as you separate from the civilians.

The Lieutenant suddenly calling out the Archangel as their only way out, As you and Le Creuset no doubt have heard it.

Le Creuset... He probably thinks you're an alliance pilot with the unknown MS and the proximity to the Strike... But there's no way to say it openly!

"What the hell's your problem, you want to get killed!?" The AI chastises you once more as you pushed Le Creuset's last swing, reading structural analysis on the shield as an idea comes to mind.

If the statement can't be public... Contact-communication could be the key to get the info across!

"Garodo! I need a plan to close the distance!" You bark out on your AI as it suddenly simulates a scoff.

"You WANT to get killed! What the hell!" You block another strike with the MS' shield right until starting to notice its getting blunted over, wedging itself into the hardpoint of your MS' arm as you grit your teeth "Fine! Initiate the next sequence and the rest is all yours!"

As you're led away to it, you input in ahead, An interface popping into your display...

As the front rail of your beam rifle slides forth, startling you.

>Long Beam Saber = 49 [Minour Failure]

As two spikes emerge from the front of your rifle, You see the CGUE flinching, clearly not having expected the sudden, hidden weapon.

Unfortunately, So is the case for yourself as you jerk the Mobile Suit aside, startled motions leaving you wide open

"You idiot! How didn't you know-?!" The AI chastises you as you weave your MS stance aside, using your shield as the extended reach of your beam bayonet scorches the concrete and grass beneath you.

Allowing Le Creuset to effortlessly tackle you with a scorched shoulder of their CGUE as you finally made close enough contact to seal your message.

"Captain Le Creuset, It's me, Frie-!" The communication is cut off as Le Creuset boosts ahead, knocking you into the ground as your MS' footing becomes imbalanced by keeping the Bayonet away from the CGUE and the colony surface itself.

"Grenel!" Allan calls out as you could see for yourself, even with the Archangel on Freefall, Two CIWS guns popped into your general direction....

As well as a Lone orange Moebius, aiming its linear cannon towards Le Creuset's machine as it moved to react!
>>
>>6347800

>Cover Fire = 36 + 10 [46, Minour Failure]

Le Creuset's CGUE covered with their shield, giving you a look with their mono-eye as they raised to pierce the chest of your MS...

Right until suddenly, it changes direction, dashing ahead upwards as they cleanly sliced off the Moebius' linear cannon, blinding speed carried forth as they headed towards the Archangel.

"No! The Archangel!" The detained lieutenant called out, Le Creuset's objetive clear as day as the CIWS fire outright stops as the Archangel slammed down into the colony's surface.

The killing blow poised onto their hand...

Until a powerful blast rips through the CGUE's weapon arm.
>>
>>6347880

The Blast goes wide and far beyond Le Creuset's evasive maneuver, colliding and outright making a section of the Colony's walls.

Making the perfect get-away as the blast leads directly to the connecting tunnels of the orbital rings

Yet, Le Creuset's machine, as damaged as it is, quickly drops to your side, grabbing ahold of your MS' by the shoulder.

And transmitting a contact-comm within as his tone sounded...

" Ensign Moon... Excellently Done, I'll leave it up to you."

Congratulatory.

You knew a way out...

This had to do.

"Garodo, shut down motor functions, but feign struggling" You command the AI as you prepare contact comms "Captain, lift me out while we retreat!".

Le Creuset obliged, singular jump followed by thruster sets as the AI chirped away "Why're we doing this, aren't they the enemy?" They ask away as you breathe in.

"I suppose it was covered in your data... I'm actually a pilot for ZAFT" Attesting away to it, the AI opens up a dialog window in their interface, writing down ahead.

"Screw you! Don't pull my leg, You know how to pilot manually, but the uniform's-" The Text slows down to a crawl as it stays pensively dotting upon the last line "Why did ZAFT attack the colony?"

The question seems to knock over your own doubts into light... The G-Weapons! But... They certainly could have gone far smoother.

The Alliance presence! But... They were stationed in a neutral colony.

As you're hauled away into the open maintenance tunnels... That question still reigns on you

Was this really necessary?

Allan struggled to pull their forehead from the impact in the targetting dashboard.

There was an order to brace, but it's certainly an uninviting experience to slam the full weight of a battleship down, specially as blood started dripping from the green-eyed man's forehead as he pulled away.

Just to see that Green Mobile Suit immobilized and dragged away by that CGUE

"No, No, No, No!" He hurried to his controls, before finding them dead and unresponsive, the impact and the previous power short finally reaching the weapons systems "Grenel! Greneeeeel!"

Badgiruel could only look as the rest of the skeleton bridge crew recovered from the impact, the first lieutenant losing their mind as they jostled and shook their target controls powerlessly, calling out for the pilot.

Fear beginning to creep into the young officer's heart at the maddened reaction of their nominal superior...
>>
>>6348194

Kira was horrified at what he had just done.

Not only pointing a weapon of this destructive power at two people in a bid to save his home and friends.

Learning this terrible secret... Seeing a face he hadn't dared think of in Five years...

And yet... Destroying the Colony all the same as he tried to save the most lives

"I-I didn't mean to-! I-!" Kira started bawling excuses for his case as he himself reacted stunned.

Enough for the soldier woman to use the emergency lines still dangling from the Mobile Suit, opening the cockpit and hitting the young man in the throat as she pressed their uninjured fore-arm to it.

"You idiot! You realized what you just did!?" Lieutenant Ramius, as she had identified herself previously, scolded the young man as the pressure on his windpipe immediately befell the effect of his full-powered shot.

The Colony's atmosphere was thinning, not at a dangerous level yet, but surely progressing at a fast rate due to the hole made by the Strike's cannon

As he found himself unintentionally tearing up from the stress, Ramius pulled back, slight shame at her own use of force and intimidation on completely unrelated civilians...

But can they really just be civilians at this point? After seeing everything they have? A normal federation Tribunal would have found ways to convict or pubish them severely but...

In some small part, her being even alive at this point is heralded only to this Young Man and his friends.

Murrue knew far too well that some civilians did not outweigh the value of the Strike and its ship, which had just crashed down into the surface of the station.

"Everyone, get the trucks and their cargo moving to that ship over there! I'll let them know you're all with me!" Ramius called out, suddenly getting the one bravest amongst them to call out.

"Why should we!" A boy with green eyes raised her stolen handgun at her, trembling hands "Leave us alone, Will you-?!"

One single zipline of movement was enough for Ramius to rappel down, effortlesly slip their handgun back from their temblorous grip and push them down into the ground.

"Tolle!" A girl calls back before Ramius zipped back to the Strike's cockpit, Kira managing to regain enough composure to look at the woman's eyes.

It... It should have been another day of technical college to him and yet...

He's done so much damage intending to do better.

Athrun was devastated by the actions involved in the Colony.

"Open up, Hotshot! We asked you a question!" Yzak knocked once again on the Aegis' cockpit, manual block having been one of the functions the blue haired Ace had figured as he docked in the Vesalius.

Having used Data extraction as the one excuse to lock himself within the mechanical recesses of the machine, Athrun could not confront his friends and teammates after failing so thoroughly.

Rusty's dead, He should have done something but... But!

That... That was the question flown at him after him and the ginger-haired pilot had took the detour into the hangars.

"Goddamit! Don't let me try and pry you out of it, Athrun! Snap back to reality and just tell us!" Yzak threatened once more as Athrun...

Had to steel themselves, unlatching the lock on his cockpit as he finally admitted the news.

Dearka grimaced upon them.

Nicol was shocked, unable to process their death just as Athrun did likewise.

And while Yzak attempted to remain headstrong, one brief moment of silence was all it took for them to float to the nearest wall, punching them and cursing out into the hangar bay.

"Damn you... Damn you all to hell, Naturals!"

Before being distracted by blinding flashes in the horizon, closing in the distance ahead as a Black CGUE with scorch marks surrounding their entire frame battles away an unknown masked Mobile Suit swinging a beam saber at it.

A click being heralded away as the Mobile Suit threw it away.

"He's running out of options, but don't push ahead like that!" Garodo advices ahead as you finally close the distance and tackle the Mobile Suit...

For their part, their response is unexpectedly quick, vaulting away from your shield bashing tackle before forcing you to back off, CIWS vulcans peppering at the structural integrity of your shield.

"Natural, is that you?!" A comms line from the Nemo is received by you as you grit your teeth, the Mobile Suit taking the brief respite it got to continue ahead.

You were going to answer if not for half of your shield being cleaved in half by a wide swing of a beam saber

"Wait, you're doing this all Manual?!" Garodo comments away in a derisive manner "No wonder! Fancy piloting. But you're going to die if I don't do a manual boot!"

You raise your beam rifle only for the system to completely shutdown, cameras holding on as you're stunned by the course of action, the Mobile Suit moving to strike-.

Before engaging in evasive maneuvers, Beams flying their general way as they're forced to dodge out of the way.

"G.U.N.D.A.M Synthesis Model, Running variations." Garodo comments as your panel lining turns away from resembling that of a GINN's an operating system's booting process ensuing "Extra camera functionality, booted! Power-application System... Online!"

"Garodo, I can't move!" You yell towards the AI as the unrecognizable piloting software begins to transform the interface, the Mobile Suit weaving off the beam volley as it all stops.

Because one Beam impacted the colony's surface, creating a large, smoke plume that enveloped your vision!

"It's done, Flip the rifle and swing the stock!" Garodo commands away as you do as they suggested, suddenly finding the machine far more responsive, although you think that may be the AI itself coordinating the move-.

Yet, you find yourself awed as the oddly shaped stock of the twin-sword rifle begins to vibrate, a razor sheen emerging from it!
>>
>>6349236

The smoke clears away, however, ejecting the damaged shield from your fore-arm, you reach and swing for one of your beam sabers as you block the strikr head-on!

"Careful!" Garodo calls out as you see the Mobile Suit reaching for another saber by its hip, panicking slightly.

Before an unusual pop-up came into your screen.

Green Mirage System, booted

The Mobile Suit's eyes suddenly turn green at the approach of the Mobile Suit, movements performed in automatic function as the Beam Saber's broadly missed its mark, forcing ahead an open break into their movements...

"Don't goof it twice!"

>Axe Swing = 80 [Majour Success]

And strike through with a push of your thrusters, resistance coming into play as your axe struggles to meet its mark with the Mobile Suit's arm!

Yet, one single parting push is all that's necessary as a clean swing is finished! The arm flying off roughly from the Mobile Suit as its beam saber deactivates from the lack of current going to it.

You swung back, the mirage system going offline as your main sensors turn back yellow, the Mobile Suit deciding to take their losses and dash into the colony from the same entry you and Le Creuset had made your exit.

You flipped the rifle, intent on shooting them down...

Before they vanished again, leaving you in the dust and debris of the attack on the Colony's exterior...

You look over the Vesalius, XO Adres already inputting a comms request as you open the window.

"A new model... This was unexpected. Ensign Moon. We need the data on that machine's computer." You affirm your superior as you see the mechanic's staff preparing a catching net for your mobile suit. Ending the communication as you're caught within it.

You're back in safety... For now.

Turning off the Mobile Suit as it gets moved across the galley of the mechanic's bay by magnets, you disembark from the cockpit as you see it...

All of the G-Weapons, inactive... But in ZAFT's hands save for the Strike back in the Colony.

"Christ, what the hell is wrong with this data output." One mechanic comments as you lean in ahead to their terminal "Black-Band, The other machines had a clean sleek access way, why is this so corrupt-."

Your fumbling attempt to pull out the flash drive from your pocket as it flies out of it does seem to alleviate their face as they nod.

"That explains it, Rest up while we deal with your machine." You take your leave with a nod, acknowledging the fact he was very glaringly eyeing up your Alliance uniform.

You needed to change, at least now that the infiltration's over... And potentially, whatever comes next.

Although you're stopped from reaching your bunk as Captain Le Creuset waited for you in front of it.

"It... Was fruitful to send you over to the colony, I shall give Ephraime his good call on that" The masked man admits as he gives you a smirk "I also appreciate dispersing that other Alliance model, Lieutenant DesLisle sends her regards while getting serviced in the Nemo."

You nod to that, before recalling something that seemed obvious with everything undergoing.

"What're we going to do with the Archangel? I noticed the hangar bay is... A bit empty".

Even as you mention it like this, it's rather glaring that losing three out of a five-ship battle group is pretty devastating... Especially now that the Target is pocketed like this.

"I shall think about it, Know you did good work, however."

Le Creuset gives you a quaint bow as he took his leave, leaving you to enter your bunk as it...

Strangely looked dim inside, a shadow moving ahead of it as it looked upon the open airlock.

"Nicol? Why're the lights out-?" You ask away before they suddenly moved towards you, grabbing you in a quick yet fierce hug, hands trembling behind your back.

"Frieden! I thought- I thought you were gone too!" His voice was noticeably disturbed, you slightly pushing him off of you as you looked upon his features.

He didn't look like he had much rest and his eyes are red... Exhaustion? No that can't be it-.

Nicol didn't really flaunt much pride in being a Soldier, not as much as his position as Redcoat demanded. You all knew for a fact that he was not only the youngest mentally between you all, but the one that didn't seem to actually want to be a Soldier further than what the war would demand of him...

At least a toss-up between him and Rusty, depending on how the latter acted.

"Gone?" You ask, the sudden wording on the young boy's query puzzling you as he calms down "What do you mean by that-? I was...-"

Your felt your pulse drop and your complexion pale as Nicol gritted their teeth lightly, struggling to say what he had repressed.

"Rusty's... Rusty's dead."

Mu's pulse started slowing down, his duel with the White Phantom of ZAFT having yet again concluded with him on the backfoot.

This time, certainly dying if not for the Strike's pilot. The Hawk of Endymion finally managing to calm down from their battle high in order to address his situation properly.

Not any better than he was when the guns were all blasting, now directly trapped within the Colony, with at least, three remaining ZAFT vessels abound

Although, the civilians being handcuffed by the skeleton crew aboard this... Archangel, rung a bit too close to discomfort

"Are you sure this is all the striker pack cargo?" A black-haired woman of short hair asked away to a large-chested woman in a mechanic's jumpsuit.

"No... Not even close. I'm going to need a few men to collect-" The woman had seemingly decided to change her tune "But seeing that crash... The Archangel's failed to take off, I can't draft mechanics for-."

"Come out there, you daft bastard!" Yet Mu's pulse grows tense as a jet-black haired man of emerald eyes, armed with a submachinegun, passed into the open hangar, the Civilians reacting negatively as he crosshaired the Strike.

"First Lieutenant Parsec, what're you-?!" The woman with the black hair reacted shocked before he raised their voice.

"Shut up! This is a matter between me and him!" The man yelled, maddened over something. "Who are you in the seat?! Tobia?! Cello?! Marconi?! Answer goddamn it!"

Mu would rather intervene at this point, the disgruntled soldier in front of him threatening to fire ahead...

Right until the large chested woman pointed their handgun at them "Cease your foolishness this instant, you wouldn't be alive if not for them."

For his part the mechanics crew wanted to put a stop to this all... But his intuition told him otherwise about messing with the South-American front veteran.

Proven right as the man pulled out a grappling gun out in surprise, rappelling and zipping straight towards the cockpit of the Strike as he forced the cockpit open.

Mu... Widened his eyes as much as the first lieutenant did, lowering his weapon down as he dumbfoundedly looked at the civilian piloting the Strike

"Who the fuck are you?"
>>

You don't believe it until you finally group up with the rest of the Le Creuset team.

"Where the hell were you, Natural?!" Dearka challenged you "We thought we could count on you and you ghost us to-!?"

"Let it go, Dearka!" Athrun calls out, still in his pilot suit "I couldn't save him, He had nothing to do with how it all happened!" You shirked away, wanting space for yourself...

But you had told Nicol and... He seemed eager to defend you "He was in the Colony before any of us could! It's how we got the latest data for the-?!" Nicol tried explaining only for Yzak to suddenly turn towards him.

"He was there?" The silver-haired ace walked in front of you as he glared at you "How and why didn't you set up anything to help-" pressing ahead, Nicol's forced to place themselves between you both.

"I said he made the info, He's done enough, you can't rope him into-!" He's cut away rudely as Yzak pushes them aside, the rest of the group and even some mechanics and medical staff in the hangar bay turning to see him.

"That isn't the point! Natural! You could have given us an advantage distraction or stole one of the weapons with us, Why didn't you?" He's-...

He's not mad, not yet at least, Dearka seemed far more addled by the passiveness of your infiltration.

"He did get something... Just not a Mobile Suit we were aware of."

>Mechanical Issues = 17 [Majour Failure]

The group felt silent as Lieutenant DesLisle in their pilot suit floated beside you.

"Captain Le Creuset has given cautious orders, unless any of you have objections to raise at his face. All of you are grounded from participating in further operations."

The entire group, save for Athrun and yourself reacted shocked, immediately asking why's and how's.

But it only took a cursive look at the engineers and staff of the Vesalius trying it's hardest at cracking security encoding and manufacturing brand new servicing parts for the G-Weapons and your own suit.

Athrun had kept... Quiet.

You don't fault him for it, Rusty died in his sight.

But...

But there was one thing you knew Athrun had in rough spades and that's a rather intractable nature.

Whether controlled by impulsive passion in regards closely related to Junius 7 or his more melancholic meandering. A true lack of drive and meaning beyond the conflicting feelings of vengeance.

That, in essence, was why it didn't seem that strange for you for Athrun to report towards the Bridge's command posting. Still in full pilot-suit despite the grounding order.

Well beyond the young ace's wide-eyed surprise at seeing you waiting for him.

"Hmnn, is that right?" Le Creuset listens in to a complaint from a shuttle incoming from the Nemo "Ephraime does not get the threat that legged ship has over ZAFT. Typical of him." The slight at Margellan is... A different one than you'd have expected, knowing the man.

"We'll use some spare parts to service one at haste, All remaining pilots not on maintenance or grounding orders. You're allowed to equip D-Type equipment" You widen your eyes in disbelief at what Adres suggested.

Anti-Fortress weaponry? It makes sense if bringing the Archangel down but... You certainly anchored it within the colony

"Captain Adres." Athrun commented as the aged man looked towards him "I wanted to inform you that I'd like to participate in the mission to sink the Alliance's battleship."

Adres gave him a look-over, a stern glare before falling into a solemn expression "You've done enough, Zala. I'm sorry for your loss... All of us are, but you have grounding orders for a reason. Olor, Matthew and Aiman will head over, once we've outfitted their units."

You gritted your teeth, finding it dangerous the high-level ordinance directly being used within the colony.

You didn't expect for a comms request forcefully being opened as Margellan and the captain of the Gamow showed up within holographic screens. Much less the explosive entry of the former chief-engineer.
>>
>>6350276

"What the fuck, Le Creuset!?" He called out, as you felt your ear ring. Having forgotten about the hidden transceiver in it "I had to watch you weasel your way into attacking a Neutral Colony. We're not shooting it down, I ain't-!" Margellan's anger is interrupted as the Gamow's captain calls him out for silence.

"Have some decorum! Margellan... The Legged Ship cannot be allowed to disembark from the colony, that much is obvious." The Gamow's captain adjusts their admiralty cap as they look pensive "But... While I appreciate the consideration, these people have fledged their flag to the Alliance allowing them to-!"

"Fuck. you!" Margellan cut him off "The Spy has outright told me this was Morgenroete's own doing! Or what?! Are we going to call out Actaeon or Karasawa in the technology we buy from them?!" He responded out, livid at the implication of involving the civilian element for it.

"Silence."

Le Creuset cuts out the bickering from getting more vicious, mainly from Margellan's side.

"The urgency of the Archangel and its remaining G-Weapon is enough to warrant a more aggressive approach... Unless you intend us to sit idle as they escape." Le Creuset's point is painted aside as Olor and Matthew are given a wave from them, the two pilots disembarking off to the Hangars to prepare.

"We can engage them outside of the colony, are they going to be prepared for our assault? Certainly. But I had it with you and your necessary bloodshed"

The argument was once again about to commence, The Gamow's captain convinced that the neutrality of the station was voided when a single company could easily and furtively allow an entire Alliance fleet to dock unnoticed.

Yet, Margellan wouldn't budge about minimizing the damage to the colony itself.

Which... Led to you trying to out a stop to it.

"Captains Margellan and Rollo, Permission to lay crucial info?" You step forth, Le Creuset and Adres looking over you as Athrun raised an eyebrow "As I infiltrated the Archangel, not only could I confirm that it's running with a skeleton crew... But I also managed to ground the ship within the Colony, to the best if my ability."

"Wait, you were inside the-?!" Athrun shushed themselves as the captains considered your request, yet you could conceivably see Margellan hiding a smirk.

"Hmnn, truly an asset despite your kind, Mind-Killer." The captain of the Gamow comments as Margellan's smirk was dropped.

"I suppose that does change the function, Structural Damages reported in the fighting are draining the atmosphere of the Colony and with it now anchored as per Moon's work..." Adres mentioned ahead as he strategized a plan "MS prep teams, Slash the D-Type equipment from the whole squad, leave it to pilot's choice."

That... That's slightly better than...

"I had seen it fall, blamed it on the incompetence of the crew boarding it" Le Creuset commented as he rubbed their chin "But they DO still have the Strike with them, What do you suppose might be the best course of action, Ensign Moon?"

"Captain, I suggest once again, Let me go to the-!" Athrun asks again, Uncharacteristically, as the mention of the Strike shakes up your plan as it was...

"The crew and the Strike's pilot only have breathable oxygen from the ship itself, We'd do best trying to force them to capitulate."
>>
>>6349743

And that... Was the big surprise of it all.

The First Lieutenant lowers their rifle and just rappels down from the kneeling MS, the Pilot of it coming down through the Strike's own service rappeling cords.

A curious fact coming to Mu's mind as he recalled the simulation training the Hidalgo had running for all these test pilots.

"A Kid?" He commented as the Civilian pilot looks over to their handcuffed friends.

"H-hey, Let them go, I did what you asked-!" The young man soon found themselves at gunpoint as the woman in the jumpsuit held their handgun towards them.

"After you threatened service members and your friends tried taking me down? I wasn't playing nice when I mentioned all of you were detained from seeing military secrets. Neither am I letting my guard down after that stunt." Mu widened their eyes at the fierce accusation the woman dropped on them all.

Case in point, the Young man was cuffed as well, though in the process allowing you to close the distance as the disgruntled first lieutenant watched.

"Fancy piloting over there, I kind of remember the same test pilots for the program struggling hard at simulations to even get it to move, but you? You're a bona-fide natural at it." Mu did not expect for the Lieutenant, still holding a submachinegun over their shoulder to glare at them.

"Grenel could manipulate one just right, the damn software was defective." His response made Mu wary about the topic, but... It wasn't something he could ignore either.

"He was the one on the green one, right? Smooth moves from him... A bit too smooth now that I remember" Mu acknowledged the landmine he almost stepped in as he looked back "But I'm getting distracted, Kid. You're good... Too good for your first time, but for the sake of getting to the point... You're a Coordinator, Aren't you?"
>>
>>6350538

The mechanics crew that had gathered raised their weapons towards the young man, his eyes going wide as fear overtook any reasonable recourse he'd have.

Which is why one of their friends hurrying to shield him with his body and the ensuing resounding gunshot that came from it shocked everyone in the hangar

"He's a fucking Coordinator, not a goddamn Superman. Lower those damn weapons on the cuffed kid!" Parsec locked eyes with the crew as they did as he commanded before staring at the young man covering the coordinator "You. Name and what was your plan before getting shot?"

For their part, the green eyed youth just stammered a faint what before Parsec took one menacing step ahead of them, his wits at a dangerous end before admitting.

"Tolle Koenig... I-" Parsec gave him one glare, the young man suddenly growing brave at the intimidation attempt "Yes, Kira's a coordinator! But what of it?! This is a Neutral Colony and I'm going to defend my friend from-!"

He couldn't finish his intense sentence, as Allan butted their stock into the young man's sternum, causing them to kneel down, their friends calling out his name.

"Good plan, but you better learn to do it when not handcuffed yourself."

And that is how the four highest ranking officers in the Archangel found themselves as it is now.

A ship anchored down into a high-alert and depressurizing Colony, it's skeleton crew struggling to prioritize as many resources they could grab on and a mechanic's crew desperate in trying to kickstart its engine to life.

And the topic once again touches on the Strike and its pilot... As Mu so effortlessly dodged taking command as per his rank, a likely story with the now properly introduced First Lieutenant Parsec.

"I tried taking a look over it, whatever he fixed to the controls. The thing registers my inputs with delays... Somehow, I think even then, I've had more success than in the sims" Parsec opted themselves out, Mu noting that not only were the regular Moebius not there, but that their spare parts would have to be used to service his Zero.

"Still, to depend on a Civilian... A coordinator no-less." Badgiruel interjected, getting a glare from Parsec as he scoffed.

"Family's latest little career soldier, Peh. What could we expect out of someone like that." As he snarks, the woman gives him a scornful glare.

"Who is we?! I've had enough of your unconstrutive macho attitude! I should have you sent to the brig with those civilians!" Badgiruel snaps as Mu folds their arms.

"Well, do it then! You took the captain's chair first!" Allan stood up, forcing Mu to do likewise, pre-empting the test pilot from getting more forceful "'Cause you're afraid."
>>
>>6350615

Badgiruel... Didn't retort that one statement, Allan sitting down once again with a grumpy face put on.

"Everyone is, but instead of thinking the world's going to fall ontop of us. We try and make with what we have." Allan looks over to the newly instated captain in Lieutenant Ramius "Ramius, was it? We need the Kid."

And that much befell Lieutenant Ramius, who had expected far more support in her position now being thrown the wrench in the spanner of all catastrophes.

It was unlikely, if ever, for a whole Earth Alliance vessel to depend on a Coordinator... But they had to make do with what they had.

"Coordinator or not, ZAFT shot first at his colony. He has a right to be pissed and I know that-" Allan tried to pitch his own point, Mu shooting it down as he shook their head.

"He seemed uncooperative and from what the captain's said, he only acted in her and their friend's defense." Mu began rubbing their chin inquisitive about something in their mind "Although he defended the Archangel from Le Creuset... Might as well rip the band-aid off. Without his help, we're all going to die."

"Both of you are out-of-line! How could we entrust the Strike into a civilian coordinator and the responsibilities-" Badgiruel struggled with agreeing with the explicit conscription methods and breaches of conduct.

"Then, I guess you've made your bed with dying here. In the middle of nowhere" Was Mu's answer as the stern ensign's gaze wavered.

Murrue Ramius considered both approaches, one more honest and one more explicitly manipulative.

She... Wasn't a fan of either. But the young Coordinator had become perhaps instrumental in coming out of this with their lives intact.

"I'll do it."
>>
>>6351168

Both aces looked over towards the captain as she accepted full-bored responsibility on this attempt... Leading to doubts coming from the gravity-front veteran.

"I'm sure the face he'll be more comfortable with is the one that ordered his and his daffy pals' briggings" Allan scoffs for a moment only for Mu to shook his head at him.

"I can start to see why the ensign lady over here is fed up with your attitude." Mu chided at the lack of faith put on "Give it your best shot, I'll be rooting for you... As much as our lives depend on it."

Murrue didn't feel comfortable with the stress of the situation but it was clear it was do or die.

This was, after all, her own responsibility as Captain of the Archangel.

Which had left the two aces and the Ensign in the bridge... Well until Parsec stood up with a kick on their step as they slung their submachinegun to their back.

"Best not to waste time, I'll get more of these supplies, not like I can do anything else until the engine's live" Parsec made their way as the emergency power-line activated the airlock out of the post.

"Right, One more thing. Parsec." Mu stopped the ace from leaving as he looked back to them with annoyance "I figured it's an odd time to bring this up but... You're a First Lieutenant, aren't you?"

The raven-haired man scowled at them "You sure all those near-misses didn't breach your cockpit? Are you brain damaged or just-?" He's cut off as Badgiruel raised an eyebrow, Mu just sighing.

"Bear with me here... It's just." Mu heeded for a second as he looked pensive "Under the qualifications for the program on your side, You were listed as a Captain I'm curious how you'd figure your way into getting a two-rank demotion in the span of a month?"

Allan dropped the scowl, deciding to look away into the dark hallway as he seemed to reign in a response... Until he didn't.

"For your sake, Hawk of Endymion." The man took a threatening tone as he slung their weapon tighter "Never ask that question to my face ever again"

Mu sighed as he finally left, Badgiruel staring wide-eyed at the exchange between aces...

Did he just... Reveal that Parsec was overqualified?

You... Had believed your particular suggestion of sending a team to round up and force the Archangel at gunpoint would have granted you a spot to it.

Alas, grounding orders still abide for you Even as you shuttled to the Nemo with haste after Margellan called for your presence.

Right as he rambles about the whole situation "You would not BELIEVE how damn obstinate that Shooting Star of Dork guy is, Natural." You lean your head forwards at the mention of Aiman, suddenly making you recall that his GINN was shot down within Heliopolis, himself safe... Though with a wounded pride far greater than any lasting wound.

"I... Had heard he showed up in the Nemo expecting to get armed with D-Type weapons and a new MS?" You'd have heard it from idle chatting as he was equipped by mechanic's crew of the Vesalius.

"Precisely, so I told him to fuck off. Didn't really take it well but what do I give a fuck about some prissy ace." Margellan ceases pacing from the Nemo's extended Hangar as he looks at you "Good work flooring the ship, but it could work against us if Le Creuset's left to do as he pleases." You arc an eyebrow at what he had meant...

Right until you had suddenly seen somehing you didn't expect.

The Green Mobile Suit standing within the hangars of the Nemo
>>
>>6351172

"What's that doing-?!" You exclaim, surprised at seeing it being tinkered with the grounding order being explicit.

Only for Margellan to shut you up as he stomps on your foot with your heel "Quiet, Damn it!" You withheld from cursing out as you weave and whip your fingers about "They're heavily burdened by the G-Weapons as is... And the Data corruption in this one unit is astonishing, even to me." Margellan folds their arms as he smirks.

"You're... Going to take a look over it?" You ask away, suddenly aware that if it had moved ships, it orobably hadn't been charged or resupplied. More worryingly, it had no Shield.

"Hell no." Margellan looked at you with a scowl before adjusting their glasses "I have some guys that could perform the systems engineering and formatting, but I'm an actual Engineer, not a Code Monkey." You feel lasting glances thrown at Margellan's direction from the crewmen servicing the Mobile Suit before he pulls you aside.

"I didn't want it to be its maiden flight in this condition, but if you need something readied and finished..."

You widen your eyes as you see it unveiled, magnets moving a Mobile Armour of wide, curved-upwards profile moving ahead.

It's the FLUGG... How long had it been stored within since Margellan renounced his Chief Engineer position?

And yet, its sight would all but confirm that Margellan's interfering with Le Creuset's operation in a way that would bring a bad light to you...

>Take the Green Mobile Suit, It is, by far, the most powerful one at your disposal
>Take the FLUGG, if it's ready and done for the mission... You certainly know it can potentially compare to the Archangel and Strike.
>Take an unmarked GINN, It'll take some time as it is rounded up and equipped. But not only are you confident in it, but it won't draw much attention

You had acknowledged the rather urgent nature Margellan had placed on this deployment.

No doubt, he'd be hauling the FLUGG for pride reasons, after it surely got rejected from ZAFT boards but to see it here...

It's different as you now approach it again with your normal suit on, dropping into the open cockpit and sealing it away as you followed the standard launch procedures.

You... For now, have a five minute advantage to Le Creuset's dispatchment, According to Margellan's predictions on their refitting.

Your whole cockpit lighting up as you check the status of the linear-cockpit cameras, the Magnetic rail-line moving you slowly forth as you do a quick diagnostic to the weaponry at hand.

Combat-grade Vulcans, Flare launchers pointed upwards and two missile-pods with four missiles each... You have to admit This seems rather lacking although, weaponry wasn't the main point of design for the FLUGG in comparison with having its flight capabilities-.

You however, close your train of thought as you're raised slightly upwards "Alright, Good. Natural I'll be telling you this before we blast the colony with N-Jammer radiation. So I'll be quick." You raise your eyebrow as he meant it before looking up.

A yellow shell with black-striped accents mounting atop of the FLUGG from a mechanical manipulator, as your interface soon warns you of interlocking hardpoint latches.

You widen your eyes as you lock in the latches, suddenly noticing three new weapon interfaces popping onto you, as well as software about... Side-Verniers?

"You... Were away and then injured before you could test them. The FLUGG's main unit may have been made for in-and-out of atmosphere flight so the weapon load had to remain light... Can't do that with the firepower that ship and Strike packs."

As he regaled upon you, he revealed the name that had puzzled you as it locked into the FLUGG's interface.

Yellow Jacket...

"You have some... Upgraded machine-gun Vulcans, hearing out Laminated armour's part of the Archangel certainly's made me glad I designed these BB's for the yellow jacket." Margellan sounds confident as he explained away the functions of the extra armament pack "I've also taken the liberty of adding more verniers to your VTOL control that you can easily use for evasive maneuvers during cruise mode as well as some state-of-the-art sting missiles if you fail to concentrate fire with the BB's."

You... Blink twice at the colour schemes and word choice Margellan is alluding to "Wait... Are you making me pilot a Bee?" it sounds incredulous now that-.

"You bet your ass you're piloting the Earth Sphere's meanest Bee. And you better be proud of it." Margellan demands away at your question as you just focus...
>>
>>6352486

So... The missiles and these upgraded machineguns... There's still a third weapon option and you let Margellan know as his tone sounds... Pensive.

"It's an experimental weapon based on the BuCues we had running on earth. We actually did manage to find ways to make solid beam weapons. But it would be too much an ask for the battery of the FLUGG to power them and it would overheat the verniers if I added powerpacks." You tilt your head at Margellan's voice as you not quite catch what he meant "You have plasma-bursting wings, not like you'd need them if you keep your distance and deploy sufficient warning shots for them to surrender."

That... Clears it.

"I don't think I have to repeat this, but don't die and trash the plane I've been working on for a solid year in. Don't fuck this up. Got it?"

You... Nod to that, finally being slotted into the Nemo's catapult rail as you take your controls at hand.
>>
>>6352488

Fredrik Adres impatiently held their command post as Le Creuset had taken a commanding break in his quarters.

Usual of them after deploying personally, but this time. His machine had come back extremely damaged.

The XO turned acting Captain however, had his mind busy by the squabbling in the hangar bay.

Miguel Aimann impatiently calling for their squadmates to hurry up getting refitted.

"Why the hell did we step down from D-Types? Olor, Matthew! Hurry the hell up!" The imaotience was decently notable as wounded pride befelled the Ace.

"We're hurrying it up as much as we can, Miguel! We need our GINN's refitted because of-!" Matthew argues back as he noticed their commanding officer's glare "Commander Aiman, We got our orders from the XO and we don't want to sink the colony by accident."

That one seemed to set off Aiman as he yelled "Why do you guys care for some bloody naturals and race-traitors?! Move it on high gear! At least you're doing something unlike the bozos with the new models!"

"Shut your mouth, Miguel!" Came Yzak's immediate retort as his redcoat flopped back in the zero-G environment "You of all people know that we wouldn't be sitting idle if we weren't gathering data on them and the asshole from the Nemo didn't deny our MS requests!"

Adres could already feel a migraine... But sat aside those aches as he still noticed Athrun Zala in piloting gear, reasonably disheveled even after docking for an hour.

He was about to order Zala to their quarters through the intercomms, if not for comms officers to intercept a message.

A message that made everyone aboard the Vesalius skip a beat of their hearts upon being broadcast to the whole fleet.

Adres couldn't believe it as just as the message had been caught.

A speeding, blinking-past object blitzed off the modified catapult of the Nemo. The hangar bay soon getting louder as it finally dawned on the crew.

"That goddamn Natural!? I'm not holding back after this! Miguel Aiman, Launching!" forgoing a catapult launch, Through service gates, the GINN carrying the D-Type Ion Cannon boosts off towards the colony.

"What the-?! Zala's taking the Aegis!"

Adres immediately moved to order a full lockdown of the hangar bay, Data collection not even being done in the slightest for the young redcoat ace to try and-.

"Let him."

Le Creuset's order trounced over Adres' as the mechanics bay descended into chaos.

"I can do this... I can do this." The young man psyched themseleves up to the evident danger that jumping straight into combat would be like.

"That blue pack! Yeah!" The chief mechanic called directions over for Kira to pick up and equip the Strike itself. The engine issues of the Archangel massively slowing his own deployment.

And yet... As much as it stood to lose in this wild gambit... Kira knew one thing definitively after his talk with Lieutenant-now-Captain Ramius.

His friends were to be safe and protected, no matter what happens.

"A... Sword?"
>>
>>6352674

"You fucking what?!"

Allan reacted incredibly negatively, as so did Badgiruel upon learning of the exact method Captain Murrue Ramius had used to convince the brigged Kira Yamato into piloting the Strike to defend the grounded ship.

"That's absurd! You're letting him and all their friends to wander scot-free of any supervision?!" Badgiruel remarked as Allan started thinking upon the plan "I had held my hopes that you'd work a miracle. But this is a sham!"

Ramius just held her head down at her fellows criticizing, looking over towards the Hawk of Endymion as he remained silent.

"Okay, you got the Kid playing ball, that's all fine and good." Allan noticeably calmed down as he rubbed their temple with one hand "What I'm worried is that their daffy pals pull another stunt at this time..." Allan stood up from the chair he was sitting on as he made way to leave.

"Well, we at least have a better chance of survival... Wish we had the radar working at this time though..." Mu commented as they eyed up Parsec leaving "What's the hurry? It's not like we can do anything after emptying that whole warehouse-.

"That's not it, we need all the hands we can get, I'm rounding up those kids and putting them to work."

Mu smirked carelessly at that one affirmation before... Suddenly standing up straight.

"We've been using the emergency power to operate the airlocks and charge the Sword Striker Pack for use... While we can't fly..." The woman focused inwards as they nodded, before pressing a button by the side of their chair.

You find your mark, obviously sticking out in the same plot of land nearby the Morgenroete factories.

Margellan had mentioned these BB machine guns were particularly effective against the armour of the archangel if you focused your fire so long as-

Your own focus is broken as you see the Archangel's weapon ports moving, gritting your teeth You only focused on anchoring the thing, of course they'd have energy to shoot back at you in hindsight!

>Evasive Maneuvers = 74 [Minour Success]

Jettisoning away from a concentrated line of fire using the enhanced side-verniers, you steer clear of danger as you format in a morse encoded message... You had heard these could pass through N-Jammer interference at a reasonable distance-.

Yet what do you even tell them without context?

Best to try and get the message across with warning shots... But you can't get a stable focusing area for the BB's...

It'll have to do.
>>

"Captain Ramius! We intercepted a Morse message from the unidentified fighter craft!" Dalida reported away for the bridge to hear as Ramius commanded it to be decoded.

Stand down and Surrender. Last warning shot

"Bit late for you to try and get merciful today, Coordie Scum!" Allan suddenly commanded the CIWS guns alongside Mu, beginning to spray covering fire across the area.

"Engine crew, we need the gravitational anchor operative ASAP. Give me a status update!" Murrue commanded away as the group of mechanics struggle with the engine.

"We've tried everything, It's not a failure from any of the systems or pieces. It'd have to be-!" A crewman operates before stopping as he heard yelling from behind them.

"Nothing's wrong with the pieces, it's how it got installed!" The same boy of green eyes is heard aside "Miri, Pass me the fluid spanner and help me out fixing all this mess!"

"Alright!" The girl that followed them replied in kind as Murrue arched her eyebrows.

"That's impossible, I did a routine check up just an hour before the attack, I even oversaw its maintenance!" Murrue explained outloud as she connected dots across the explanations.

"Well, this is a brand new piece of shit! Figured it might crap out under press-!" Allan's explanation only falls silent as he lools back to Murrue's stern gaze "What the hell are you suggesting then? That it got sabotaged?"

"Less talking, Help me box in this damn bumblebee, Parsec!" Mu chided as the two Aces began to focus on keeping the craft from getting a solid lock onto the Archangel.

That was to be... Until it began firing from two rotary cannons mounted atop its yellow hull.
>>
Rolled 35, 24 = 59 (2d100)

>>6352817

Your first reaction is that the rounds themselves shoot out extremely fast and to very little effect across the hull of the Archangel.

That is until you can stabilize for just a moment and notice them Grouping up into a firing range, the repeated impacts and rebounding shots effectively beginning to carve through a particular area of its fuselage

Until an explosion from one of its legged ports blinds your firing line, making you stop as you dodge away out of its green beam's line of fire

They should have gotten it by now... But that was a very poor warning shot.

Still to escalate further could mean aggravating them beyond your message...

You have to wonder what can rock them hard enough to make them yield

Hmm, I'm not totally sure that there's much near the docking bays that'd make them want to surrender. Rather than that the bridge is far better a target. However, stopping counterattacks is vital as well, and we still don't know where the MS that was fighting DesLisle went inside the colony. We need a quick capitulation.

Boosting forth from the firing line of CIWS and around the reach of the main energy cannons, You try and formulate a better target for the BB's...

And decided to aim forth towards the docking bay of the Archangel, deftly avoiding one last row of CIWS fire as you readied up the BB's

Arcing an eyebrow up as you take notice of the BB's remaining in the cannons, you didn't expect that first volley to burn through so much ammo...

You make your way as you finally lock in your target, making sure to line-up the firing zone as the loading bay's location's confirmed through memory.

Kira adjusted within the Strike's cockpit as much as they could, the darkened cramped space for the machine he was piloting difficult to parse as the barely-lit emergency lighting attempted to do its work.

"Kid, Pack's missing the Midas Messer!, look for a curved, sharp blue handle and emitter around the cargo!" The Head mechanic coached Kira along the way to deploying... As much as the young man could understand him.

"What's that?!" Kira asked away before finding something roughly resembling the description, the Strike's inbuilt OS logging and recognizing it as it guided him to store it along its large shoulder.

"It's a beam boomerang, remember to turn on the condenser when you throw it!" The Head mechanic gave him a wave as Kira... Awkwardly moved the Strike towards the catapult hatch-.

Were he not to freeze as he felt an ill thrill running up their spine

Kira couldn't know why, but as if instinct, he turned the Strike's Phase-shift on, Gripping tightly onto the controls as he heard buzzing and drumming onto the exterior of the loading bay...

His eyes growing wide as bumps, then leading to holes within the hull immediately befell tragedy as a projectile hits the cargo that had been hurried into the docking bay.

>Stabilization = 35 [Minour Failure]

The explosion soon led into an atmospheric leak, the few workers remaining on the bay struggling to hold on as depressurization ensued a vacuum into the inhospitable exterior of Heliopolis.

Kira struggling to maintain form and balance as he held the Strike tightly from the grounded plates of the loading bay.

He yelled out, centrifugal force whipping at them as the fastened down belts of his cockpit chafed against his chest...

Until he opened his eyes, the head mechanic suddenly flying off into the open hole, having previously slammed the emergency blast shielding, Kira letting go of their hold as they lept ahead!
>>
>>6352820
>>6353186

The Strike's added weight made quick work for it to fly outwards as the Blast shielding hung slow, the emergency power only barely functioning across the various split functionalities it was lending its energy throughout.

The Strike itself having to function as a makeshift plug on the siphon as Kira struggled to move their arms and catch the hurtling chief engineer with the mobile suits' hands!

Managing to do so, yet in the process unplugging part of the Strike's frame as oxygen began rapidly siphoning from the leak.

"M-Mister, hold your breath, please!" Kira desperately tried their hardest to fix the hull breach with the strike's Body, only managing to worsen the situation, the Strike starting to get sucked out into Heliopolis to the young man's struggles.

Struggling that continues until the cockpit of the Strike rocks, the blast shielding coming in and threatening to crush the mobile suit under its weight as Kira's forced to move aside of it, dropping the passed out mechanic as gently as they could...

As the Strike is sucked out into Heliopolis, Battery already strained by the impacts received in its saving throw

You round out your firing burst as the BB's chambers run dry, focusing away as you sent another encoded surrender enforcement.

Right as it displays out a large beam blade towards you, close comms suddenly being engaged from it "Leave us alone! We don't want your war! Please!"

Your doubts and worries upon the Strike's panicked reaction aren't really given the whole of time to be processed as one thing had decided to mark down the argument.

Inertia, Ready to send your cruising fighter right into its prepared stance. The Strike taking a wide swing with their large blade as you're forced to dodge away from it!

Well, now you're fighting it, that's not looking so hot!

You deploy a set of flares from the top of the FLUGG, the Strike's pilot seemingly startled as their momentum halts and he reverses upon their fall...

Allowing you to flip away your front-side towards it as it reaches out for the beam boomerang in their shoulder, arming and priming a pair of Sting missiles in short time-.

As you fire! The missiles flying forth as they spiralled along their way towards the Strike, it's boomerang ignited and now thrown upon you as you prepared evasive manuevers-.

The edge of the beam blade slicing and through one war-head as the other manages to fly past, your eyes suddenly going wide as a delayed explosion rocked the boomerang away from its target-.

As the remaining sting missile flew and struck directly upon the Strike's exposed torso, bouncing and knocking aside of their phase-shift armoured exterior before promptly exploding in front of it, the explosive force knocking it back severely as you tried to piece to your advantage...

It's a far-shot, but if you nominally defeat the Strike's pilot then maybe that could-!

Murrue couldn't believe it as Kira and the Strike were pushed farther and farther from the Archangel's anchored defense array.

As the Aegis along with a GINN breached into the colony, her heart rate spiking up as she gets a communication from the medbay.

"Head Mechanic Murdoch's out-cold from oxygen deprivation! We're doing what we can with the engine crew but we can only stabilize him!" A serviceman's panicked cry rocks the appointed captain's heart.

"These sons of bitches are piecing us down! We need the engine running and to get the fuck out of here!" Allan switched away targetting interfaces, forcibly engaging the port-side Valiant cannon.

"We didn't give you permission for-!" Natarle chastises the Ace as they yell out for them to shut up.

"We can't hit the colony with those munitions, First Lieutenant, You know-!" Murrue tried to adress discipline only for the Ace to disrregard it.

"I know what I'm doing! La Flaga! I need you to nail down one of them suits attacking the Strike!" At the order, the Hawk of Endymion only responded with a roger... As another transmission hits the bridge.

"I think... I think we're finished here! Miri, I have a rag you don't have to-!" Murrue presses onto the young engineer's situation as he recomposes "We've rearranged the piping and fluid systems! But I don't think we can get them operative in time with the attack!" An attack once again rocks the ship as everyone held tightly and yelled out upon it.

"Wait! Kira and Kuzzey made that program for fluid system startups! I know the scale is bigger than petites but-!" The girl that had helped the engineers comments "We need you to route us to the medbay, we'll talk to Kuzzey about it!"

"Aegis Gundam, this is Frieden Moon!" You call out as your comm line is picked up... A familiar gasp coming from them as your spine runs cold.

You yoked, however, the Aegis moved in to block a physical cannon shot, smoke ensuing as they're blown back further from knockback.

"Frieden! Why're you-!"

" You can't keep just dodging and blocking forever, Natural!" Miguel's GINN continued the assault on the Strike's pilot, forced to overload their bearings on their Phase-shift as the Ace punched out a used-up battery from their Ion Cannon, slotting a brand new one by force!

"Aegis! Initiate Mobile Armour mode! I'll try taking out the Archangel's defenses, you get a glancing blow at their bridge!" Coordinating quickly, the pilot of the Aegis grunted ahead as they morphed the mobile suit into its large claw formation.

Coordinating away with Athrun at your side, you both dodged away the anti-air turret fire and main cannon shots, quickly noticing the defenses of the Archangel growing untenably overloaded with the Phase-shift armoured Gundam shrugging off CIWS fire and slashing away at turrets as you set up your attack.

Those main cannons have to go, but the Sting missiles are overkill in armour penetration.

>Arm and release = 88 [Majour Success]

As you engaged the FLUGG's integrated missile-pods, you let out a wild volley, Athrun having distracted the main cannons as he transformed into MS form, shooting their rifle thrice at the bridge as the heat-dissipation of Laminated armour protected the crew within while blinding their sensors.

Allowing your barrage to hit its mark, inhabilitating one of the main beam cannons as it hinges awkwardly off their standing legged port.

You fly past, immediately covering for Athrun as he moved into position.

The Aegis' Mobile Armour form had a specially equipped beam artillery cannon and with the heat now dissipated across the Archangel's bridge...

So long as it doesn't space them all, the damage should make the ship unable to fight any longer.

Miguel Aimann had them, he really did have them cornered!

The humilliation, the dishonour.

Some damned Natural thought he could fight a ZAFT Ace and won by pure luck only! This is how he'll show them!

Miguel however knew that he was pushing the repurposed stock-issued machine he piloted to limits that while comfortable to him, were outright detrimental to it.

In particular, the risky maneuver he was pulling with hot-swapoing the internal battery of the Ion Cannon. An attempt to continously get more than three shots with the weapon for protracted sieges and the source of the alarm chiming annoyingly to the Ace's cockpit as its focusing lens and barrel overheated.

But truly, the power of this brand new machine is astonishing... Yet, a Natural can NEVER beat a Coordinator in a Mobile Suit duel.

And that much was proven as Miguel nailed the Strike in the chest, Phase-shift protecting it from the blow for just a scant moment as it's wide-open.

With one shot... It's over!

>Weapon integrity = 23 [Majour Failure]

Yet... A singular delayed action is all that it takes for the Ion Cannon's overheated barrel to elicit an emergency stop to its functionality-.

"What the-?!" Miguel wrestled their controls as he inputted a manual override-.

Something that distracted them from the Archangel readying a shot at it. A large caliber shell impacting the Ion Cannon, rocking the GINN alongside it out of control.

And throwing off the damaged weapon as it flies away into the orbital ring of the Colony Blowing up with a bright, incandescent green fireball as the Colony itself rocked from the imbalanced weight

"Emergency level Ten orders are being issued by the colony's automatic systems, Captain, We're going down with the structure!" Romero commented aside as Ramius pulse ran cold.

With the Archangel anchored to the surface, if it were to come apart, the entire weight of the Colony would come compacting it down. Even without all the sustained damage, there'd be no way to survive that.

"Tolle, I don't trust myself with upscaling this!" The young man's friends argued as the Programmer within the Archangel was brought to the engine room "It's no wonder Kira could do all the code he did, He's a Coordinator! I'm scared! We're gonna die!"

As the goading from Kuzzey's friends fell on deaf, panic ridden ears, Murrue looked down... Almost giving up completely as she reminded herself of old earthen command simulations.

A truly unwinnable situation... The Bloody Valentines War hasn't falllen back to white flag procedures because of both doctrines from the Alliance and ZAFT... But if it's the only way to-...

"Listen, Kid. We're all scared here!" Mu suddenly took over the comms line as he spoke up "But this isn't about Kira or Coordinator or whatever. Your engineer pals just fixed our engine in time to let us fly. So they brought YOU here to do an emergency initialization, because they know you can and for god's sake and your own... You can do it. We're all counting on you."

Kuzzey's hyper-ventilation slowed down as the encouraging words seemed to get to them... "Damn it all, I'm not like Kira... But... But I don't want to die!"

"Yeah! Come on Kuzzey, you can do it!" Miriallia held up courage towards the young man as they started to work on inserting the emergency initialization program as per notified in the bridge's command screen.

Athrun's relative focus on the Strike does make you doubt Miguel's attempts to duel the mobile suit.

Specially with how desperate Athrun gets, to the point he forcefully weans off the GINN attempting to pull it out of the Colony

All of you forced to dodge cannon-fire as the Side-cannons of the Battleship panneling within the colony's surface being ruptured and blown apart.

"What is it doing?! Those cannons are wrecking the colony's structure!" You yell out, Athrun boosting ahead farther than you as they went for the Strike and Miguel's duel "Athrun!!!"

"That's why we took so long to arrive, the Orbital rings of the colony have been bursting on their seams outside!" Olor complains before firing at the Archangel unsuccesfully in retaliation with their machine gun "Adres has ordered us to get you all out of here, the emergency shelter pods have began firing off!"

You grit your teeth, before firing a Sting Missile at the Archangel, the ensuing case of it getting intercepted by CIWS fire creating a smoke-screen as you boost away.

"Get out of here! While you can! I'll get Athrun and Miguel. Just go!"

You didn't turn back as you passed through the smoke screen, evading fire from the Archangel as Athrun started rearing into the duel.

"Stop! Miguel, The Strike's pilot-!" Athrun pleaded away, as the sword-wielding mobile suit flinched in noticing their approach.

"The Strike's pilot's as good as dead! Don't you dare intervene, Athrun!" Miguel swung towards the stunned strike-!

Only for it to deftly move against their swing, large beam blade slicing cleanly through the GINN's sword as it sliced off part bounced harmlessly onto their phase-shift armour-.

Before taking the momentum of their own swing ahead, double-handing their large beam blade as Miguel was stunned from getting disarmed so effortlessly

All the while your spine tingled, noticing the Archangel's cannons aiming around Athrun's general direction.

Sai didn't want to believe his eyes.

Earlier this morning, He and his friends. A whole group ready to promote a Petite maintenance suit for the Colony's exteriors. Kira and Kuzzey as Programmers, Miriallia and Tolle as the engineers behind it and himself, ready to show the project and sell it out as his bachelor's degree project for business school.

To think... To think it only was four hours for it all to go like this.

Miriallia embraced closer with Tolle, his own fears meritedly pushed aside as she tried to shield their girlfriend from the apocalyptic reality in display.

Kuzzey could barely keep himself from screaming, hyperventilating and trembling hands just watching their home being torn to pieces across the vacuum of space.

And himself... Sai.

Sai only knew that the Colony was a stepping stone in his career, he didn't hold much towards it.

But the memories... And the people he had met within it... They were priceless.

And yet, that shake up towards memory-lane made him deathly afraid as a name suddenly escaped their lips.

"Flay."

Their... Fiancee was still in the colony.

Sai dropped down to their knees, anxiety and panic finally overriding the sense of worthlessness he had after being useless to aid the Medbay in comparison to the panicking Kuzzey.

All three friends and mechanic bystanders looking down towards him as he screamed out.

Adres saw the Colony fall apart with their own eyes, emergency shelters soon coming out of its decaying shell as he stood up from the commanding chair.

"Commander..." Adres uttered to call their attention, the man praying to God upon his own mind as the navigation staff of the Vesalius reacted in quiet shock.

He wanted to suggest doing something about the escape craft, to help out these people caught in the crossfires of the conflict.

But... Adres upkept their profesionalism over their heart's desires and the safety of their own men had taken priority. As Olor and Matthew requested permission to dock. Granted fast ahead as Adres turned to look upon Le Creuset...
