In the wake of the Carrion Wars two years prior, the Galactic Federation has shattered completely. After the Civil War For Human Supremacy, the Galactic Federation was divided in two. The ousted old guard who welcomed aliens among it's ranks and leadership, and the new Federation for a new age. Many sweeping changes have happened as of late, the Federation now has a strict no aliens allowed policy for recruitment, combat, and leadership, the only exceptions being contracted bounty hunters.Just five months ago, our best soldier, Samus Aran, the sole inheritor of the now-extinct Chozo's technology, secrets and power suit betrayed the Federation and went AWOL when assigned to destroy a weapon of mass destruction being built by old guard insurgents along with their leaders. Her power suit has technology and equipment beyond anything we can comprehend, let alone assign to our troops, so this is an unacceptable loss. She must be found, brought to justice for her crimes, and stripped of her Chozo technology and secrets.This is where we are sending out an open invitation on DarkCommNet to FOUR bounty hunters, regardless of species or affiliation, to take on this mission of utmost importance. Your mission; travel to Kriken space, where there are rumors of a bounty hunter with a power suit and technology matching the description of Samus Aran has been taking contracts, many of which involve illicit activities and in some cases, assassination, and making a name for herself as "the hunter". We want her brought in dead or alive, and outside of Kriken Space. In the case of the former, please ensure that her corpse is intact enough to ensure the retrieval of genetic and organ materials. We cannot give you access to military support or formal supplies on your mission to Kriken space, as they are highly territorial, aggressive, and will declare war if Federation involvement is suspected, which we cannot afford with our current resources after the Carrion Wars. It has changed his physiology. >Abilities/equipment The fungal parasite that lives inside of Priam provides certain advantages to him, these are: - Does not bleed; can lose limbs or suffer tissue damage, yes, but cannot bleed out or be poisoned/intoxicated via the bloodstream. - Does not experience most pain, though the exception is electrical shocks, which harm his nervous system in the normal fashion and can thus be as debilitating to him as for anyone else. - Does not require sleep or rest of any kind, does not require food, only water in a slightly higher amount, and does not experience fatigue unless significantly dehydrated. - Environmentally resistant; Priam is able to function normally in temperatures dangerous for normal mammals, only experiencing difficulties or harm if the heat is high enough to cause combustion or low enough to cause rapid severe freezing (up to you how exactly high and low you want this limit to be, QM). - Does not need to breath, does not need to oxygenate his blood (he has none) or organs (they are taken care of). - Enhanced strength and reflexes, nothing stupendous but somewhat beyond the limits of a normal person. - Mild precognitive abilities; Priam can use the fungal nodes in his brain to perceive ten seconds into the future, often allowing him to pre-empt and outmaneuver foes in uncanny fashion. This does require he expend water from his system, and can cause him to dehydrate if overly relied upon (up to you how much of a limit there is before he needs to chug a canteen, QM). As for equipment, he has a scoped lever-action neutron sniper, a high caliber and deadly accurate laser weapon derived from older models developed for big game hunting. He also has a plasma revolver with a large under-barrel bayonet which is detachable. Plus, his vorkasi-leather boots have big skalladium spurs on the heels, and one of his infamous roundhouse kicks will put one through a steel door. >Affiliation/motivation/paymentFormerly a space pirate with a small outfit, he grew up on the ship, but was marooned on a derelict, empty prison barge with two others at the age of 22. He was the only survivor, and while he won't explain the details, he became infected with his fungal parasite while onboard. When he finally escaped, he left that life behind him to become a bounty hunter and sometimes treasure hunter. He refers to himself as an 'adventure capitalist', and prefers to take on jobs that will provide a story or challenge. He wants to take down Samus and get paid in person.

If anons like this I hope the QM takes some creative liberties and maybe we can 'upgrade' our fungus over time the way she buffs her suit? Idunno. This is a really hype premise for a quest so I will be excited with whoever we end up playing.
