It is the year 2026, Earth. You were a more or less ordinary inhabitant of this world, until today. A mysterious figure has appeared to you in a vision and explained that you have been granted two supernatural powers. The power of teleportation, and the power of time reversal. At will, you can reappear in any place you can imagine, and you can revert back in time to any point of your life after the moment you were granted the power. At first, you didn't believe it. You thought you had dreamed it. But you decided to give it a try, and you teleported to the other side of your room. Then you rewound time back to before you teleported. It works. It seems that fate has chosen you, Da-bin Choi, a high school student in Samjiyon, Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Your father is a labourer in the city and your mother is a cleaner at the tourist resort. Your older brother joined the army to help give your family a better life, but he died last year in a training accident, or so they told you. You think he really died fighting in Ukraine. You've long known that everything told to you about the outside world is a lie. There are whispers and rumours, and the occasional smuggled USBs. You even watched some dramas from the South with your friends on one of their fathers' smartphone. The truth seems clear to you: in foreign countries, people live better, and they are free. They don't have to be afraid of being arrested and executed for watching dramas, listening to music, or speaking their minds. You're sure that a democracy where you're required to vote for the chosen candidate isn't a real democracy. You think that when someone speaks the truth, they don't need soldiers to arrest anyone who says otherwise. You want to learn more about the outside world, and more than anything, you want to bring the freedom they have to your homeland. Perhaps fate gave you these new powers for that reason. Before you do anything, you decide to test out the limits of your powers. You know you can teleport to somewhere in your line of sight. Making sure no one, is watching, you try teleporting to a different room in the house. It works. Then you decide to try teleporting to your school, which also works. You find yourself standing in your empty classroom. You teleport back home and try to teleport to Pyongyang from there. Your mind strains and it fails. It seems you need to have an image of the specific place in your mind. You picture Kim Il Sung square in your mind, and imagine yourself appearing in front of the stairs of the Grand People's Study House. You feel a puff of air around you, and when you open your eyes you see the building before you. You've only ever seen it in pictures before, and it looks grander seen from below. It's night time and there's no one around except for some guards. One of them notices you from across the square and shouts to his comrades. You quickly teleport back to your room again. You think the first thing you should do now is leave the country. You've been studying Mandarin in school, but you don't know any other foreign languages.>Leave to China>Leave to South Korea>Something else

You decide on going to Seoul. The rumours say that the Southern government helps Northerners who escape, but you're not so sure how things would work in China. There weren't any photos shown to you in school, but you've seen Seoul in the dramas, and photos on the USBs. The lights and towers in the city looked magnificent. You try to imagine a specific place. You remember a park that was in one of the dramas often. It was where Min-jun proposed to Ji-an. You can see the trees, grass, benches, and distant skyline clearly in your mind. You appear in that exact spot. The view of the city is breathtaking in person. You look around. The park is mostly empty at this time, and no one seems to have noticed you appear. You wander around for some time, moving from the park into the city. You've never seen so many people out at night. You walk past cafes and restaurants full of people, and the roads are full of cars and buses. No one seems to take much notice of you.You notice a police officer standing at an intersection. There will be time to see the sights later, you think. You have a mission to accomplish. You work up some courage and get his attention."Excuse me sir, I come from the north.""I see, is there something I can help you with?"It seems he doesn't understand."I have just escaped today.""You crossed the border today? How did you get into the city?"You realise that if you tell him, he won't believe you."I walked.""You must be tired. I will take you to the police station for now, we will take care of you."He calls for a car on his radio, and another officer drives you to the station. They ask a few questions such as your name and age, and someone brings you a huge bowl of noodles."Is this all for me?" You ask incredulously."Yes, you can have all of it."It must be true that people are never hungry here. The noodles taste good, but you can't bring yourself to eat all of it. At home your mother would make this much to feed the whole family. You ask what will happen to you now. They tell you that tomorrow some people from the National Intelligence Service will talk to you. After that, you can go to Hanawon, where you will learn to live in your new society."But I have to go back tomorrow or I'll miss school." you blurt out. The officers pause for a moment."You can't go back." one gently explains to you. "You have to stay here, or maybe go to another country. But you can't go back to the North."Again you realise the futility of explaining your power.>Stay here and accept the consequences of vanishing from home>Teleport back home to get some sleep and go to school tomorrow - you can come back here the following night>Demonstrate your power to the police by teleporting around the room, tell them you will be back here tomorrow night, then go home>Something else

You decide that you won't be able to live two lives. You can't secretly overthrow the regime in only a few hours per night while going to school as well. You have to disappear from your old life. It's best you don't say goodbye to them either, that would only raise suspicion and get them in trouble. They will think you were kidnapped or murdered, perhaps. Sad, but they will be safe until you return. The police bring you to a room with a bed and you quickly fall asleep. The next morning, a police woman wakes you with some breakfast. She tells you that some agents will soon be here to interview you, and you should get ready. Your breakfast is an orange, a bread roll wrapped in a thin plastic packet, and a plastic bottle of chocolate onions milk. You've never had an orange before, and you're not sure that you like them. But you quite like the bread and milk. You take a quick shower and clean your teeth, and the police woman brings you to an interview room. Two middle-aged men in black suits are sitting at the table, and invite you to take a seat. They introduce themselves as Agent Park and Agent On. They explain that they're interviewing you to gather information about the North. They ask about your hometown and family, and about how you escaped. It becomes clear that they're actually poking holes in your story to test whether you're a spy, and they suspect you. It doesn't make sense to them that you came from a town on the northern border, but escaped by crossing the border to the South. It doesn't make sense to them that a 16 year old girl managed to cross minefields and razor wire fences over a strongly guarded border, alone, without being seen by guards from either side, after also crossing the entire country. You realise that your school uniform is also perfectly clean, indicating that you haven't been trekking for many kilometres through the wilderness. They ask you to explain in detail how you crossed the border, and where.>Tell them the truth, and show them your power>Stick to your story>Reverse back in time and tell them a different, more believable story>Something else

You revert back to the start of the interview and tell them that you crossed the border into China and walked to South Korea from there. They remind you that there is no land border between China and South Korea. Oh, right. You try again and tell them that you made your way through China with some cash that you saved up at home, then stowed away on a ship. They inform you that North Korean currency cannot be spent anywhere outside of North Korea. Oh. You try again and tell them that you begged your way through China until you could stow away on the ship. They ask about what ship it was, when did it arrive in Seoul, where in China did it leave from, how long it took you to get through China, how long you were at sea. You refine your answers and get away with most questions by being vague and saying you don't remember exactly. But no matter how much you try, from the subtle glances they share with each other, they don't seem to be buying it. You suppose you just don't know enough about the world to create a realistic story. Whenever they ask for specific details, you find yourself making something up that you aren't sure of. You find out that the North Korean borders have been reinforced in recent years with walls and more patrols, so very few people are getting out these days. You try but you can't seem to give a believable explanation of how a schoolgirl snuck through the North Korean border alone. You may need to change your approach.>Tell them you were sent as a spy, but you truly do want to defect>Tell them the truth>Go back to before you went to the police and do something else instead>Write-in

You decide to tell them the truth to see how they react."I have a special power, I can reappear in another place instantly. That's how I got out."The agents hold back smiles."Don't be silly. Please tell us how you really escaped." You stand up."Like this."You start teleporting to different places around the room. The agents jump out of their chairs in shock and back up against the far wall. After a few minutes of panic, they calm down and start talking to you, but their prior relaxed demeanor is gone. They ask you questions about your power, such as how long you've had it, how does it work, what are its limits. You notice Agent On is still pinching himself. You explain as best as you can, but you don't fully understand it yourself. Agent Park asks if you could take someone else with you into or out of North Korea. You think about it. You take your clothes and anything you're holding with you when you teleport, but could you take a person? Time to test something. You turn back time to before the interview and teleport out of the police station to the park you arrived in earlier. The park isn't busy at this time and it looks like no one saw you. Not that it matters. You make your way down to the pond where the ducks are. An old woman is sitting on a bench feeding them breadcrumbs, like you've seen in the dramas. You sit next to her and wait for the ducks to come closer. The woman comments that you should be in school by now. You reply that you have the day off today. She offers you some breadcrumbs, which you take. You lean forward and hold your hand out and one of the ducks starts eating out of it. You quickly put your hands under the duck and scoop it up, holding it securely to your chest. The old woman scolds you, but you teleport up the hill to where you were before. You check on the duck and it's fine, if a bit angry at you. So you can bring living creatures with you safely. You let the duck go and it flies back to the pond. Now to test if it will work on a person. You find a young man walking along the footpath and approach him."Excuse me, sir."He turns around to face you, and you hug him. He's shocked even before he's teleported to the hill with you. He seems physically fine however, and all his clothes and belongings came with him as well. Now that you know you can bring people with you, you revert time back to the previous night in the park.>Go back to North Korea and bring your family and friends out with you one by one>Go to the police again>Walk around Seoul>Something else

You decide to learn more before doing anything. You take a walk around the city. You don't have any money, so you can't buy anything or get on a bus or train. But walking and talking to people are free. You take in the sights and occasionally make small talk with strangers. You think most people pick up on your northern dialect, but they're too polite to mention it. You ask about the local area and recent events. People seem surprised when you ask about the latest news; perhaps it's impolite here? But they tell you a little about what's going on. The former president was imprisoned recently for trying to take power with the military over a year ago, and the Americans are attacking Iran. You don't really know what to make of the former president, but you heard about Iran on the TV at home. You eventually come across a library. You realise it would be a good place to learn more, but it's closed right now and you're getting tired. You revert time back to North Korea and go to bed. In the morning, you pretend to leave for school and teleport into an alcove next to the library. You walk inside and no one stops you. Looking through the shelves, you find a section dedicated to geography and history. You start reading some books on the history of the Fatherland Liberation War. It took you some time to find until you realised it's called the "6.25 War" here. As you expected, you find that the story in these books is different from what you were taught. It says that the North started the war by invading the South, not the Americans. It also doesn't say much about American atrocities, which you heard a lot about. You were told that the Americans invaded Korea and the brave communist fighters liberated it, but the books say that the South Koreans wanted the Americans to help. You read some more about history of the outside world. The world wars, the cold war, the colonial age. It's all a lot to keep track of. You end up asking the librarian about it and you end up discussing history and politics for some time. Your mother panics, and your father sternly tells you not to say such things. You try to explain that you can get them out, but they scold you for speaking of such treasonous ideas. It seems you can't persuade the fear out of them, and you know you won't be able to get everyone to go along with it willingly. You grab your father and appear in the park in Seoul. Then you go back and bring your mother. You go back and your younger sister comes into the kitchen to see what the commotion is about. You take her as well, and tell everyone to wait here. You bring your uncle, aunt, grandma, and cousins. Then you appear in front of your friends' houses one by one and take them and their families with you. The growing crowd of panicked North Koreans in the park starts to attract attention, and the police show up. You calm your parents and sister down and explain to them that they can live a new, free life now. The police gradually take everyone away to the station and put you in a locked room by yourself. You're there for at least several hours, until someone opens the door and escorts you to an interview room. Several people in suits are waiting for you. One you think must be an American, he's a young man with golden hair and blue eyes. Other than a few Chinese tourist groups you saw from a distance at the resort, you haven't seen a foreigner in person before. You think he doesn't look as mean as the pictures you were shown in school. You also recognise Agent On from the other interview, but of course he doesn't recognise you.The people introduce themselves as NIS agents, except the American who says his name is Agent Brown from the CIA. He speaks fluent Korean, but has a bit of a funny accent. Agent Lee explains that the other North Koreans found in the park told nonsensical stories and most claimed to not know where they were. However, all their stories had one thing in common: you. They all claimed to have been grabbed by you before being taken to Seoul instantly. You explain your teleportation power to the agents, but you avoid mentioning your time reversal power. They ask if you can demonstrate it, and you do by teleporting around the room. They are shocked, but a bit less than last time you think. After calming down, they ask you what you think of the regime."I want to free everyone in the North from them.""You want the regime to fall?""Yes. I could take everyone in the North with me here.""That would make the regime collapse, without anyone to work for them they couldn't support the military. But there are 26 million people there, we couldn't take care of them all here. And how quickly can you teleport people?""I can take one person with me at a time by holding them. Maybe it takes 5 or 10 seconds before I can take another.""I see, it would take a very long time to bring so many people here. They might figure out what's going on, it could be dangerous. They might kill you.""You don't want me to bring people here?""There is a better way to free them. Please come with us, we'd like you to meet some important people in our organisations.
They escort you into a black car and take you to a building behind tall fences with armed guards at the gate. You realise that this is the first time you've seen armed guards since arriving in the country. They take you inside to a meeting room where some more people in suits and uniforms are waiting for you, most of them Americans. They ask you a lot of questions about your power and opinions on the government, and for demonstrations. Agent Brown translates for the other Americans. You ask them how you can help topple the regime, and they tell you they will take some time to come up with a plan. They give you a bedroom and tell you to get some sleep. The next day Agent Brown comes to you and brings you to the meeting room again. Translating for some other men in suits, he explains that the CIA are offering you a contract to work with them, and he would be your handler. You ask about your family, and are told they are being debriefed and will go to Hanawon to learn to adapt to South Korean life. They tell you that if you refuse to work with them, they will send you there as well and you will stay with your parents. If you agree, you will be able to stay with your family when you aren't working, but will not be able to talk to them about what you do. They tell you that if you sign the contract you will be paid 1 billion won per year, and explain that this is a lot of money; many times what the average South Korean earns in a year. You would easily be able to support your family with this amount. You ask what you will be doing if you work for them, and they say you will mostly be teleporting people and equipment into and out of North Korea. If you're willing, they might have some more complicated missions for you. They reiterate that everything you do with them would be top secret. You ask for a day to think about it, and if you can talk to your family. They agree and bring you to a room where your parents and sister are waiting for you. Your father is distraught and scolds you for betraying the fatherland for the foreign savages. Your mother seems quietly afraid, but hugs you. You try to explain to your father that life is better in this place, and people don't have to live in fear. You've seen it with your own eyes. He isn't especially angry with you, you think he doesn't have the energy to shout. He just keeps repeating to himself "Treason, treason." You hope he'll come around after he's calmed down and seen the place for himself. Your sister doesn't comment on politics, but says she is glad to see you. You've shared some secret ideas before and you know she believes the outside world is better. You ask Agent Brown if you can take your family to see the city today. He says to call him Matthew. You try, but it's harder to say. You see a faint smile on his face when you struggle to pronounce the sound in the middle. He says he will ask his bosses for permission. After about half an hour, he comes back and says you're allowed to explore, but he will accompany you. You and your family follow him outside where a car is waiting for you. Matthew gets into the driver's seat and takes you around the city. He points out various buildings and areas. You don't say anything about it, but you notice another car has been following this one since you left.
Matthew suggests you look through Myeong-dong, a shopping area. He parks the car in a special building that has nothing but parking spaces in it, and he guides you to the shopping streets. He gives each of you some money and says you're free to spend it as you wish, but not to leave his sight. Your family are shocked at how crowded everything is. You go to food stands, clothing stores, and technology stores. You and your sister buy some new clothes and cosmetics, but the smartphones and computers cost more money than you have so you just look at the demonstrations. You notice there are quite a few foreigners around, though you try not to stare. Some look like Americans or Europeans, others have darker skin and you think they might be from Africa. You all try some gelato, which you've never tried before. You ask Matthew if you can visit the library, and he agrees. While driving, the computer screen in the car tells him how to get there. You arrive at a different library than the one you visited before and your family follow you inside. You encourage them to find books to read, while you go to talk to one of the librarians.
You ask if they have any books about what people over the world think about America. The librarian says that's quite specific but there may be something similar. She types something into the computer and says she found a book called "Global attitudes toward the USA and international relations". She helps you find it on one of the shelves. You ask the librarian what she thinks people think about Americans. She says it varies a lot, not just in different countries but different people in the same country. Some people like American culture. Some people think they're a protector against hostile powers. Some think they're international bullies who start wars and force countries to do what they want. Some think their culture overshadows smaller countries. The one consistent thing is that wherever you go in the world, people will disagree on America. Even in America. You find this idea interesting, that people will always openly disagree. That would be unthinkable back home. You also ask if 1 billion won is a lot of money, and the librarian agrees that it is. Most people wouldn't earn that much money in 10 years. The book is long and a bit boring but you skim through it and it seems to confirm what the librarian was saying. After a few hours, you all get ready to go back. During the car ride, your sister seems excited about her new life. Your father seems conflicted, but more agreeable than this morning. Your mother is reserved as usual. Back at the CIA building, you rest in your room and fall asleep. The next day, after you get ready Matthew brings you to the meeting room again. The agents show you the paperwork and ask if you agree to the contract.>Agree to sign>Negotiate, ask for 2 billion instead of 1 billion>Something else

"No one else in the world can do what I can. I know you have a lot of money. Make it 2 billion, and I'll do it.""You're a true capitalist at heart. Alright, we'll pay that much." They take some time to reprint the contract and you sign. They tell you that they will keep this meeting room empty and you can teleport here any time you need to. You are given leave and you go to bed.The next few days are spent on various debriefings for you, your family, and the others you took with you. Everyone is told to keep total secrecy regarding your teleporting ability. The agents set you up with a bank account for your pay to go into, and after the debriefing is finished you and the others are given a place to stay in Hanawon. You notice that you are all in a separate area from the rest of the facility, which you suppose is to keep people from spreading the secret. You spend some time at the classes with everyone else, but most of your days are spent at the CIA.They've been testing the limits of your teleportation power. You find that you are able to teleport through walls even if you haven't seen the room on the other side, as long as you know the distance and direction you have to go. They also test teleporting over long distances. When they show you a photo of a spot in a rural field, you aren't able to teleport there. But when they show you where in America the spot is on a map, it works and some agents are there waiting for you. The experiments are watched by scientists with strange instruments. They also examine you medically, putting you through what they call an MRI machine. They don't find anything out of the ordinary in your scans that would explain your powers. After the testing is complete, they decide to give you some basic military training. You are taken to an indoor firing range and introduced to Sargent Choi (no relation) who instructs you on shooting a pistol. You were told not to discuss your power or your contract with him, and you can tell he's a bit confused about why the CIA wants him to train a North Korean schoolgirl. Nevertheless, he does his job diligently and you think you've got the hang of shooting. When you're done with the pistol, he asks if you'd prefer to train with a rifle or grenades next.>Rifle>Grenades
>>6383727>GrenadesI get the feeling these would be more useful when paired with our ability.
>>6383727>GrenadesWe are now an unstoppable terrorist. Good job, glowies! 진실로, 이제 우리야말로 위대한 령도자께서 경고하셨던 미제 승냥이들이다.
>>6383727>GrenadesUh they aren't planning on risking us in combat scenarios, right?
>>6383846We probably can't turn back time if we die, so we should be careful about that...

You choose to practice with grenades first. The sargent brings out some blue training grenades and explains that they won't actually explode. He has you practice pulling the pin and throwing them into pits. You aren't allowed to mention it, but you have the idea of teleporting next to a target, dropping a grenade, and teleporting away. At the end of the day's training, Matthew informs you that you will be preparing for a simple mission tomorrow. He takes you to meet a team of soldiers who he says you will be transporting across the border to scout artillery locations. The commandos ask to see your teleportation ability, so you demonstrate it for them. On their request, you take each of them with you a few times so they can get used to the sensation. Matthew says you can get fully acquainted tomorrow, and orders you to get some sleep. The next day you meet with the commandos again at a training field along with some military officers and agents. One of the officers explains that your mission is to determine the location of concealed artillery batteries in range of Seoul. This is not a combat mission: you will not carry a weapon and if there is any shooting, you are to leave the squad and teleport back to the CIA building immediately. No one will be wearing uniforms, and if anyone is captured the South Korean government will deny all knowledge of the mission. Your only responsibility will be transportation, and you should follow all orders from the squad leader.
The squad leader, Major Yoon, shows you some of the equipment they will be using. You will have walkie-talkies to communicate with each other in case you are separated, only to be used in emergencies to avoid detection. You will also have a tracking device which can hone in on the signal of the other walkie-talkies to help locate them. You will all have night vision goggles to see in the dark, and the team will share binoculars, a laser rangefinder, a camera, and a GPS device which will find your exact coordinates if turned on. You will also all be wearing something called a ghillie suit, which makes you look like a plant so you can't be seen. You spend a few hours learning to use your equipment and then practice communication, movement, and stealth exercises with the squad. There's a surprising amount of hand signals to remember. You keep practicing with the squad in the woods over the next few days until you think you're ready. The officers decide to use the meeting room in the CIA building as the staging area. After a day of rest the squad prepares, and one by one you take them to the spot in the photo they showed you just north of the border. It's the evening now, and getting dark. You go with the group through the woods until they spot truck tyre tracks on a dirt path. Following the path from a distance to the side, they spot a concealed outpost on a hillside. The squad leader wants a closer photo to confirm the presence and number of artillery pieces.>Offer to teleport up to the other side of the hill and take a photo yourself>Let one of them sneak around to do it
>>6384528>Offer to teleport up to the other side of the hill and take a photo yourselfIf we get spotted, just rewind time so they never saw us. Then, do a decoy teleport home to cover our time travel tracks, then say what we found in timeline A to the soldiers in timeline B. Easy as fishin.

>>6384540+1>>6384625If we rewind time and instantly tell them what we saw, they will become suspicious.
>>6384625What >>6384632 said. They don’t know about our second power. I'd rather keep it that way, in case they backstab us.
>>6384632>>6384638I see. We can just sneak in a different way since we know how we'll be spotted though
>>6384724True, but that means risking getting caught another way and having to timetravel back again
Whispering, you suggest that you could teleport onto the hill among the trees to get a better view. Major Yoon considers it and agrees, giving you the camera. He reminds you to stay on the ground and to get multiple photos. You lie face down and reappear on the hill. You see six cannons underneath camouflage nets and hidden behind the hill and the trees, all pointing towards Seoul. There are some soldiers around who don't seem to be paying much attention to anything. Some are sleeping, some are talking, some are eating. You hold up the camera and start taking photos. The camera doesn't make a sound and it's painted with camouflage. You think about 20 photos is enough, and you teleport back to the squad. The Major inspects the photos and approves, and you start taking them back to the staging area. After the debriefing the officers tell you that you shouldn't have risked yourself to take the photos, and you shouldn't do anything like that again. However they are happy with the results of the mission and want to expand the operations to scout more artillery locations. From now on there will be multiple squads active at once, and you will not be travelling with them but meeting them at predetermined places and times.Over the next few weeks you take more squads into North Korea for their missions. At various locations in the woods, the soldiers put a painted stake into the ground as a marker and take a photo as a reminder of where to teleport. Matthew keeps a schedule and tells you when and where to retrieve the soldiers. Sometimes the soldiers don't return on time, and you check the extraction point again half an hour later, after which they've arrived. One day, the officers decide that the artillery scouting missions should be stopped for the time being. They don't want to risk getting caught. Shortly after, Matthew asks if you think you're up to a sabotage mission.>Say yes>Say no

He brings you to some agents and officers, who explain the plan to you. North Korea has developed nuclear warheads and missiles, which are a threat to South Korea as well as other countries should a war break out. They want to destroy these weapons, but without starting a war. The idea is to destroy one of their active nuclear bases by teleporting a small nuclear bomb into it and letting the North Koreans think that one of their own detonated by mistake. They explain that they can have a bomb assembled that will leave the same radioactive isotopes behind as the type of bomb they think the North Koreans have, meaning an investigation will conclude it was an accident if the bomb is detonated next to one of their warheads. There are two options for delivering the bomb: teleport into the base, activate the timer, and leave; or teleport into the air above the base, activate the timer, leave, and let the bomb fall. Either way, you're going to have to get it near one of the enemy warheads to make it look accidental. They ask which you would be willing to do.>Teleporting to the ground>Teleporting to the air>Neither, this is too much
>>6387227>Teleporting to the groundIf they're scanning the airspace, they'll see a teenage girl appeara in midair and disappear. That will attract far more attention and raise more questions than if someone just "sneaks in" if we get caught on the ground.
>>6387227>Teleporting to the ground
>>6387227>Neither, this is too muchSurely there’s a way to deal with this without setting off a nuclear explosion. We’re tryna liberate our country, not destroy it.
>>6387227>Teleporting to the ground>>6387274They said it was a small bomb, sounds like it only destroys the base and not civilian areas.
>>6387274>>6387298Plus, if they're bullshitting us or it doesn't work and the Kims go berserk or we accidentally destroy our homeland, we can reverse time and refuse.
>>6387889That’s true.>>6387274I’ll switch my vote to>Teleporting to the ground
You ask if this would put any civilians in danger, but they tell you that the missile base is far from any civilian areas. You decide on the ground-based approach as you're afraid of heights. Over the next few weeks you are trained with a practice model of the bomb. They have you transport a recon squad nearby the missile base to get an up to date survey, and they build a life-sized replica out of wood and cardboard on an old firing range. You become familiar with the locations of the missile silos and buildings, but little is known of the interior layout.Your family finish their classes at Hanawon and move into the city. With your salary, they are able to rent a nice apartment and you move in along with them. Your mother manages to find some part-time work as an industrial cleaner, but your father hasn't found a job yet. Your little sister Bo-Mi is attending the local high school, and she tells you she is lonely at school because she doesn't know anyone there. You haven't been signed up for school since you spend a lot of time at work.>Ask to be put in your sister's school for what time you can>Encourage Bo-Mi to make new friends on her own, you're too busy to go to school
>>6388760>Encourage Bo-Mi to make new friends on her own, you're too busy to go to schoolShe could try to make small talk during lunch. If we go to school with her, she might become too comfortable just talking to us and not reaching out.
>>6388760>Ask to be put in your sister's school for what time you canI'n not sure how old we are (I'm guessing early-mid teens?) but at our age we can't just skip on school. Not just that, but we need socialisation. We're already maladjusted on account of being a Nork, staying shut up on base without any peers to talk to is not good for us.We can always abuse rewind to make all our classes
>>6388760>Ask to be put in your sister's school for what time you can
>>6388760>Ask to be put in your sister's school for what time you canWe should still help her make other friends, but it wouldn't hurt to better understand the outside world and to make some connections of our own.

You talk to the agents about going to school. They try to persuade you against it, but you are insistent and they agree to arrange it. You are placed in a 10th grade class in the same school as your sister, and your frequent absences are explained by unspecified chronic health reasons. Surprisingly, the class is a mixture of both boys and girls. You find it hard to keep up with the lessons since you only turn up about half of school days. However you keep Bo-Mi company during breaks and try to make some friends. Most of the other students in your class are polite, but you can tell they aren't interested in being your friend. You find yourself falling in with a small group of two boys and a girl who sit in the back row. They're something of social outcasts, and their names are Ji-Min, Hyun-Ki, and Zainab. Zainab is from Malaysia and moved to Korea with her family at a young age. They're all part of the 'geek' subculture, which you don't really understand but you listen curiously to their conversations about video games and comics anyway. You stay vague about your constant absences. After a few months, the day comes to carry out the mission. Using binoculars, you look over the missile base from a distance with Major Yoon's squad. The base has a number of guards patrolling the inside of the compound and guarding the door you planned to get through. Major Yoon says you'll have to try again another day.>Volunteer to cause a distraction to draw the guards out of the base>Agree to go home for now
>>6391493>Agree to go home for nowNot sure what distraction we could make that would draw out enough of them.
>>6391492Glad to see you back, QM.>>6391493>Volunteer to cause a distraction to draw the guards out of the baseIf they have an idea, I'm open. Otherwise, maybe we could teleport to one side, make a lot of noise or set off an explosion there, then teleport inside or back to the front?
