With the Tournament of Power brought to a close, the Seventh Universe has emerged triumphant once more. Led by the Saiyan warriors, the Seventh's victory was secured. And with the wish on the Super Dragon Balls used to restore the other universes that were eliminated and erased, the final hidden trial was passed, and all eight of the universes up for elimination were allowed to remain. Yet, even with this victory, peace doesn't last in the Seventh Universe for long. As old hatreds rise and long-buried grudges resurface, will you have what it takes to keep everything you've worked the last 28 years of your life to build? Or will those who seek your end ultimately triumph? That all depends on you, and your choices.

You the players will (most often) control Karn. A Saiyan man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a mid-tier Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the indisputable winner of the Tournament of Power. Wielder of the Berserker Soul, and the powerful Stand Divine Dragon Force, you're fully equipped to handle any threat that comes your way. But what will you do when the threats aren't always physical, when you can't simply punch all your problems away?

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After uncovering a hidden area even further beneath the M'lurnian Ruins entirely and conquering the ancient, long-hidden knight, Karn discovered the ruins further down close to New Salda's core. Called the First by New Salda's avatar, the planet shows Karn where an ancient Abyssal portal's Darkness has begun to spread. And venturing inside, Karn discovers some sort of beacon and lights it before finding a hidden entrance to Aku's lair. And Karn aids Aku, lighting all three beacons only to discover they allow Manus, primeval man to tear free of Aku, the two Abyssal beings battling for dominance. However, with Karn's help Aku triumphs, regaining full control. Then returning to New Salda, Aku sealing that portal before New Salda buries it under lava, then transports Karn to the ruins of a temple. One far older than the M'lurnian Ruins, dating back to the first sentient life on New Salda. And as we rejoin Karn, you're opening the ancient stone double doors.

“Hrmph!” you exhale, forcing the doors open. Stone slides on stone, New Salda's presence at your back and flowing through you in you Champion form as you open it up into what appears to be some sort of shrine. Yet the room looks... Wrong. As if the back wall's far too close. Cutting off the room halfway, even the dais before you looks incomplete. And on the steps of the raised dais lays a skeleton. But, as you take a single step forward, that lone skeleton begins to rise. Reassembling itself, wielding a staff with a deep purple gemstone in the tip. You stop, watching the horned skeleton curiously. Ready to attack if it attacks first, but it doesn't seem hostile. And after a few seconds, to your surprise, it suddenly bows to you.

“Champion. Thou art returned.” it says, then rises back to its full height. “Has the tide of those stained by that Dark been stopped? Has this world been saved?”

Well? How do you respond?
>Tell the skeleton yes, that the portal to the dark is closed and sealed away and this planet is safe
>Tell it that the old champion's gone, that you defeated him and you're the champion now
>Ignore the skeleton and walk over to the wall, examining it and why it looks so wrong and out-of-place

I figure as long as we're connected to New Salda, he should acknowledge us as its Champion, right? Might as well ask a few questions while he's not casting.

“Who are you?” you ask, looking the skeleton in its empty eye sockets. “And what is this place?”
“You... Do not remember?” it asks, then sighs out, sounding weary. “I suppose it has been quite a long time, Raime. I am Millia, the high priestess. Keeper of this shrine, and protector of Moonlight.”

“Moonlight?” you ask, brows furrowing in confusion. “But this world has no moon.”
“You have truly forgotten all. All we sacrificed, all we fought for...” the skeleton says sadly, sitting on the steps. “Sit with me, Sir Raime. And I shall tell you everything you have forgotten.”

You hesitate for only a moment, sighing out and powering back down out of your Berserker God form then sit beside the skeleton. Who begins telling you the tale of this place. Of how, in the beginning there were two dragons worshiped by the people of Verdite, a dragon of light and one of darkness. How there was peace, for a time, but eventually the dark began to spread, to conquer the world. And a sword was forged to stop the dragon of darkness, made of the purity of light from the moon. The very moon itself transformed into a blade, one built to slay the darkness. But the dark dragon had made its own blade, and the two dragons' chosen warriors had slayed each of the other progenitor dragons. The conflict continued unabated, the sword Dark Slayer, a blade forged of pure dark crystal was lost. And Moonlight was secreted away, hidden here.

“And here I have stood guard ever since. Protecting Moonlight, hidinging it from the agents of Dark until the war was finally over.” the skeleton says, then its eyeless gaze meets yours again. “Has the Dark been beaten? Did we... Win?”
“The Dark is sealed away. But you're the last one left.” you say gently. “The war is over, because no one is left to fight it.”
“I see.” the skeleton says, then looks up towards the ceiling. As if it can see the life living on the world above, and giving you the distinct impression it is smiling. “Life continues, above. Our people may be gone, but life has triumphed. This is good.”

The skeleton then rises, turning to the wall that you felt didn't look right before turning back to you. Offering you the staff it wields.

“Here. Use the Phantom Rod, clear away the illusion and claim Moonlight. Bring it to the surface, use it to protect the people who now call Verdite home.” she says softly. You nod, taking the staff with your free hand. And as you do the skeleton sighs in relief, the weight of responsibility lifted from its shoulders as its long vigil has finally come to an end. The skeleton collapses, bones turning to dust before it's fully hit the ground. The spirit of that priestess finally at peace, the body held together only through its magic and will finally resting. Leaving you holding the massive blade of the former champion, Raime, over your shoulder in your left hand, the rod in your right as you look to the wall. Leaving you with one question:

What now?
>Try and channel your ki through the rod, try and activate it like you do for any of the magic swords you've uncovered to try and open it
>Telepathically call out to Chilli, see if your son's free and can help you with this as he's more magically-knowledgeable than you
>Try and break through this illusion like you have the others first, see if it falls the same way or if there's more to it
>Telepathically reach out to Raven, tell her what you learned then see if she can use the rod to open this wall before you
>Leave this alone for now, let the Moonlight stay hidden. You're not sure how your people'll interact with a sword radiating with that light, but you're fairly certain you know how it'll go

Looking from the staff in your right hand to the wall, you decide to try it for yourself. Focusing your ki through the staff, just as you do with the various magical blades you've come across, the gem at the tip of the rod begins to glow. And, almost instantly the wall itself begins glowing. Pulsing with green light, fading in and out as you end channeling your ki through the staff. And as you stop using it, the wall fades entirely. Revealing the rest of the dais, and where, in the center of it, is a sword. But not a sword radiating moonlight, like you'd thought. But the weapon is seemingly made of solid stone. Not of moonlight, but just solid stone.

“Huh. I was expecting... More.” you say to yourself, wrapping your tail around your waist, using it to hold the staff to your side as you approach it. However, as you do, nothing happens. The sword doesn't suddenly start to glow, or radiate with any power. Instead, it simply sits there, the tip buried in the center of the now-circular dais. You walk right up to it. Reaching down with your free right hand, taking the hilt in your hand. And with ease you pull it free, hefting the heavy stone sword overhead. Then you lower it, examining the weapon more closely. Looking the weapon over, the edges are still sharp and flawless. You set the much larger sword you'd discovered down, holding the stone blade in both hands. Examining it closely, but you don't sense the power of moonlight looking at this sword.

However, as you hold it, you feel something. Deep inside, you feel something in your chest yearning towards the blade. As you focus on that feeling, you feel that it's that soul you'd claimed. The soul of that black-armored knight, Raime as the priestess had called him, clearly still remembers the blade. So, you understand that it's the real thing. But all that's left is figuring out how to activate it. And then, just as you had with the staff, decide to channel your ki into it. And so you do, holding the sword overhead as you begin to channel your ki through the ancient weapon. And as you do, you feel it. The sword begins to glow, the light that hits your tail strikingly familiar. You feel the surge of energy straight through you tail, your entire body shivering as you feel that familiar energy. And, closing your eyes, the power grows greater and greater, the stone audibly cracking. There's then a flash of blinding light through your eyelids, and as the blinding flash ends, you slowly open your eyes. Witnessing the legendary weapon Moonlight, in its true form.

As you open your eyes, the first thing you see with this sword is its real blade. The blade is unlike anything you've ever seen, a luminous pale blue-green blade of light made solid. You see lights twinkling inside the solid blade, . Ancient text you can't read is written up the solid ricasso, the cross guard's wings a deep red, unlike the handle that's some sort of tarnished gold. And inlaid in the cross guard on both sides is a smooth green gemstone of some sort, a crimson one inlaid in the center of the blade's pommel. And, as you stare at the blade, you can feel the moonlight in your tail. Yet the light isn't bright enough to cause a transformation, to cause you to ascend into your Oozaru form. But you can feel it, feel the unmistakable feeling of staring at a moon.

“Woah...” you say, staring at the blade. Feeling your tail's hair standing on end, your blood pumping faster. But not pushing you over the line to even start transforming. And as you hold it in its fullest form, you can feel the soul of that black knight singing to witness its beauty once more. And as you hold this ancient weapon, you can FEEL its energy resonating. Not with your power alone, but with the Champion power still flowing through you. And something tells you that, while powerful, this weapon will only truly be useful here, on New Salda itself.

But what now? What do you do?
>Exit the temple and show New Salda the ancient weapon Moonlight, see if the world remembers this weapon and the name you learned for this planet the First called it, Verdite
>Telepathically call to Chilli and then teleport to his side, show him the weapon you discovered and compare it to the one he has also called moonlight. See what he can discover about this blade, how it's similar and different to his own

And, speaking of, you turn back towards the opened double doors, and slowly walk towards it. Down the steps of the raised dais and back out through the open doors, where New Salda's avatar is waiting. And the moment you step through with the blade, you can feel it through your Champion link: New Salda recognizes that blade.

MOONLIGHT.” it says, almost fondly as it slowly kneels down, looking at the glowing blade. “YOU ARE TRULY MY CHAMPION, KARN. ABLE TO WAKE MOONLIGHT FROM ITS SLUMBER.”
“Yes. The priestess inside told me everything. Verdite.” you say, watching the avatar's reaction to that name, or if it even remembers. And it does, New Salda leaning back. Its body language soft, contemplative.
VERDITE. I HAVE NOT BEEN CALLED THAT NAME IN A LONG TIME. NOT SICE THE FIRST WERE WIPED OUT.” New Salda says, tone less powerful and more quiet. Almost longingly, before bringing up a hand to its chest. “HOW... STRANGE. I FEEL... SOMETHING. AT BEING CALLED VERDITE ONCE MORE.”

“Would you like me to keep using that name for you?” you ask, the avatar looking conflicted, uncertain. Hesitant, as it clearly thinks this over. For well over a minute it stands there quietly, until you see it has reached a decision.
NO. VERDITE IS WHO I WAS, WHEN I WAS A YOUNG WORLD AND SUPPORTING MY FIRST LIFE.” New Salda says, shaking its head. “I AM NEW SALDA NOW, VERDITE IS WHO I WAS BEFORE.”
“I understand. Then your name Verdite shall be a secret between us.” you answer, the planet's avatar looking more resolute now, more certain of itself than ever. Having confronted its old identity, but not rejecting what it has become.

ARE YOU READY TO RETURN TO YOUR WORLD, MY CHAMPION?” New Salda's avatar asks, meeting your gaze once more. Holding out its hand down to you, ready to take you in its embrace once more. “OR SHALL YOU REMAIN HERE FOR A WHILE, AND FURTHER SEE WHAT THE FIRST MAY HAVE LEFT BEHIND?”

Well? What do you do?
>Thank New Salda and let it return you to the surface of your world, to continue your day
>Thank New Salda but return to the surface on your own via Instant Transmission

“I'm ready to head back up. I have a fight to get ready for here in just a few days.” you reply, the avatar nodding as you step up into its hand. And New Salda curls its hand around you, everything outside its grip going dark. Then you feel movement, but it feels... WRONG. Like it's up but also down simultaneously. Like every direction and no direction, but still moving somewhere. And then it's over, and as New Salda's hand opens you find yourself on the beach by your home. New Salda's hand sticking through the ground, opening up to let you out.
GOOD HUNTING, MY CHAMPION.” its thoughts boom in your mind before its hand begins sinking back into the earth. Leaving you standing by your home as Meloka, rushing from the city blasts towards you.

“Karn, where-! Wh-what is that?” she asks, sliding to a stop and freezing as she sees the blade. You seeing her tail react the same as yours had, feeling the light of the blade. “What is this?”
“Moonlight.” you tell her, holding it up Letting her see the blade's glow as the lights within twinkle like stars in the night sky. “It's kind of a long story.”
“You've got to stop collecting swords.” she says with a chuckle, shaking her head. “I already have the guys working on something to hang them all from, on the wall of our room. But they won't fit either of those. Where in the world did you find something like that?”

“This is New Salda's moon.” you tell her, holding Moonlight out. Her eyes going wide with shock. Understandably so, and going even wider as you share the story you'd been told. Only not telling your wife New Salda's original name, keeping that secret between you and the planet itself. And as the story ends, your wife sits down on her heels, staring off as she processes everything.
“...Wow. That's...” she says, slowly looking back up to Moonlight in your hand. “The moon. No wonder New Salda didn't have a moon, it was hidden underground all this time. Because of course it was.”

She shakes her head, then stands back up. Still looking incredulously at the blade.

“What kind of world did Freeza give us?” she says, then refocuses. “Right. So, are going to be joining me in teaching our students today? It's nearly time to start.”

“Damn, General. We go to make a holder for your weapon collection, and you come in with two weapons that won't fit our previous design.” he says with a laugh, returning to his work. You lean both weapons in the corner, setting the staff you plan to give your granddaughter on one of the shelves in the room instead. Then, looking over your collected weapons, Moonlight having not returned to stone, you realize that you'd left your Wolf Knight sword back in the depths of New Salda. Specifically, outside the entrance to that temple.

“It'll be safe down there.” you think to yourself, knowing Divine Dragon Force can summon it back to you. And that it'll be safe down there, that with the heat so close to the core will prevent anyone from stealing it. But, after a few more seconds, you feel that you can't leave it there. And with a thought your Stand appears around your arm, already knowing what you want. And with its spoken command, the blade appears once more in your hand. “Thanks, Divine Dragon Force. Appreciate it.”
“You're welcome.” your crimson-scaled Stand answers, then with a tired-sounding sigh slowly fades out. You watch your Stand fade and disappear, then leaving the completed collection of a half-dozen weapons resting in the corners of your room. You then leave them all behind, heading out of your home and taking back to the air. Flying over to the training facility, landing right outside the door as the last of your students are filing in.

“G-General Karn! Good to see you!” King Vegeta IV's little brother, Tarble salutes you. “Will you be leading the training for today?”
“You've got it.” you tell him, nodding to the shorter Saiyan as the door opens. You both go in, and there you see your own students all gathered. Leaving Tarble's side and leaping up to your usual spot where your wife is waiting. You look out over the more than a score of your students, still mostly Saiyans but with notable exceptions. The two women standing beside Goar, one the four-armed Shokan woman and the tiny Togruta former-slave. “Alright everyone, hope you enjoyed your rest day. For the next four days, we're gonna go hard to it. Now, break off into teams, let's do this. Let's get to work!”

“Yes sir!” they all shout, saluting you. Then everyone breaks into groups of no more than seven, rotating through different stations and trainings. And for the next three hours, not just two, you push them all. Moving through stations, offering encouragement, corrections, and keeping them from slacking. Pushing them all, making sure to spend at least a few minutes with each and every one of your students. And by the time the training time's over, you see each of your students are exhausted, but looking proud of the work they've done.
“Well done, all of you! Good hustle today!” you call out to them, having returned to your spot atop one of the chambers inside the facility. “We'll see you all again tomorrow. You'd better push even harder tomorrow, I want to see you all break past your limits! But, as for today, that will be all. You're dismissed.”

“SIR!” they all shout, saluting you once more before your students begin to disperse. Chattering among themselves as they begin to head out. Leaving you standing atop the roof with your wife and your children still on-world with only one question:

What now?

“Hey, Broly, got a question for you.” you think telepathically to your off-world son, back on his ship.
“Dad? What's going on?” he replies, tone immediately worried. Everything alright?”
“We're fine. Just wondering if you've got enough food on that ship. Figured I'd bring the family by for a family meal on your ship. If you've got enough to take us, that is.”

“Really? We'd be delighted. Kori's with a couple of her friends who showed up, catching up on old times.” he replies, then sensing your immediate concern continues before you can interrupt. “They're good. They're not trying to take her, like those that tried to snatch Ticho. They came to warn her, and showed us the technique that lets them suppress telepathy too. They've rebelled against Kori's sister, defected from their queen's forces to stand by her side.”
“I see.” you reply, feeling a surge of relief. Knowing that, on some level, you'd reached out just because you were worried for both him and her. With everything that's happened yesterday, you'd forgotten to check back in with him. But you're glad they're safe. Let me know when you're ready, we're ready when you are.”
“Give me one minute.” he replies, ending the link. And as you focus back on your surroundings.

“Alright everyone, who's ready to eat?” you ask, your children all agreeing. “Good. Because today we're gonna eat somewhere special.”
“Special? Ooooh, where is it?” Karn Jr, your youngest asks excitedly.
“Are we eatin' at that one place in the city?” Kayle asks, a hopeful gleam in her eye.
“Or did Silver fix somethin' special?” Maz asks, to which you chuckle.
“Good guesses, but no. We're eating somewhere where we haven't yet, as a family.” you reply, seeing the wonder on the younger children's faces. And confusion cross your wife's, clearly not knowing what you've planned. Only for Broly to reach back out to you, saying he's ready. And so you raise your right hand to your forehead, then say, “Everyone hold on.”

And so your family does, then with a thought you vanish. Leaving New Salda behind, reappearing inside an unfamiliar room. Where your son Broly is standing with a smile.

“BROLY!” Karn Jr shouts, your youngest exploding towards him. Rocketing straight into his chest, the two brothers having fully mended their relationship after what happened before. The old animosity gone, leaving you smiling at seeing the reaction. “You invited us to lunch?”
“Something like that.” he replies, ruffling his youngest brother's hair, then reaching over and doing the same with Okira. “Hey there squirt. So, what's the word for the day?”

“Word of the day?” you wonder quietly to yourself, not interrupting.
“Superfluous. Another word for unneeded or redundant.” she says, you realizing the two of them have their own little game you'd never heard of. And, instead of feeling left out, you smile. It's good to see your children having their own relationships with one another, ones that don't necessarily involve you.
“We're having fluous soup? Never heard of that before.” Karn Jr says, to which they all laugh. And you laugh as well, everyone sitting down in his ship's dining hall. Where, unsurprisingly he sits at the head of the table. He has you all sit at ascending ages, putting the youngest two, Karn Jr and Okira by him, you and your wife the furthest away, at the other end. And, as you look about the room, realize why. If someone were to come in, that would put either himself, you, or Meloka between anyone coming towards your family. Seems his time as a captain's made him cautious.

The meal itself is nothing extraordinary, his own cooks' ability paling in comparison to Silver's mastery of food. But the new, exotic flavors and smells are enjoyable, everything you eat having more flavor than the foods you'd cook by frying meat either with ki or over a fire. And around five minutes into the meal, Kori appears. Flanked by several of her own people, you recognizing the Tamaraneans for what they are immediately.

“Broly, you didn't tell me your family would be coming over.” she says, flying over and sitting her pregnant self right down into his lap, arms wrapped around his neck casually.
“You and your friends were busy, didn't want to interrupt you.” he replies easily, but you can see in his face the moment she arrives how much more relaxed he becomes. The difference between knowing where she is and holding her in his arms apparent on his face. “Right, introductions. Dad, Mom, family, these are Kori's dearest friends. K'harra, Novi, K'lone, Tyarind'r, Onivind'r, and Xorrend'r. Ladies, these are my siblings, Karn Jr, Okira, Maz, Kayle, and Caulifla, as well as my parents. My mother Meloka, and father General Karn.”

“So, you six are Kori's friends, are you?” you ask, gesturing to some of the other seats at the long table. “Come, join us.”
“Thank you, General Karn. But we've already eaten.” the one called K'harra replies, bowing respectfully. “But, I must say. You're... Smaller, than some of the legends would have us believe.”
“Smaller?” you reply, sharing a glance with your wife before returning the focus to the younger Tamaranean woman. “And what do you mean by that?”

“What K'harra means is, to our people, legends still persist of you during the battle for Azar. How you protected our people from the invasion, even saving our future queen Komand'r personally.” the second-introduced, Novi, interrupts. “And how, later during the Covenant war, you stood head-and-shoulders above both Saiyan and Covenant soldier alike.”
“You mean like this?” you ask, popping another bite in your mouth before standing, and clenching your fists ascend. Controlling the transformation and only ascending into the first Berserker form, but suddenly dwarfing the six of them. Where two, you notice instantly look down right at your groin. Meloka, catching them, glares daggers at them. And, sensing her hostility have the good sense to look away before you power back down, returning to your seat. “How is Komand'r doing, anyways? Heard she got herself some new advisor, Kryat I think his name was?”

But as you bring up the advisor, the mood among the six shift immediately. All six instantly become wary, cautious. Clearly suddenly afraid, and not of you. Their immediate reactions are noticed, Okira especially narrows her eyes. Her Stand, Imagine Dragon and her share a nod, before both speak together.

ANY WORD SPOKEN INSIDE THIS ROOM CANNOT BE OVERHEARD BY ANY MEANS KNOWN OR UNKNOWN TO ANYTHING OUTSIDE.” they say simultaneously, the six Tamaraneans all looking at your youngest daughter in shock. As she then smiles to them, and speaks. “There. Now, anything you say cannot leave this room.”

Silence hangs, and as you watch, one of the women's eyes begin to tear up. And Novi drops to her knees, crying in visible relief. You and Broly exchange a look as Kori floats up from Broly's lap to comfort the woman. Neither of you say a word, but the understanding is clear: this is about to get a lot more interesting.

And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoying this episode so far? What do you think of the legend you uncovered, enjoy having that mystery solved? Curious what sorts of treasures you'd missed inside that ruin, and what more can be found? Do you think Meloka Wolbach will enjoy that staff that reveals hidden pathways, perhaps you even taking her on a trip through the First ruins to see what else she can discover with it? What do you think of Meloka getting you a rack installed for all your gathered weapons, only for you to IMMEDIATELY get a weapon that won't fit upon it? And are you ready to learn a bit more of what's going on in the Tamaranean empire? All this and more when Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues!
>>

I'm sure Melly will enjoy that staff. Seems like a perfect fit for a curious child on a planet with no shortage of magical ruins. As for the sword rack...well, no plan survives contact with Karn.

You watch as Kori comforts the one who'd collapsed, but the other Tamaranean women aren't far behind. After a few seconds of Novi dropping, they're all teary-eyed. Relief visible in their demeanor as they all relax, as if they'd all had someone watching over their shoulders, just waiting for them to mess up or say the wrong thing and end their lives.

“Thank you. Thank you so much.” K'harra says, going to your youngest daughter's side and kneeling before her, taking her hands in her own. “Ever since that bastard Kryat came into power as Komand'r's right hand, our people have lived in fear. He could hear whatever anyone said, with his name. As if he were always listening to all of us. And when someone spoke ill of him, they would just...”
“Start bleeding from their eyes, ears, and nose?” you ask, K'harra freezing. Turning her head slowly to you, jaw dropped. Eyes wide with horrified understanding.
“What...? You...? Who w-was it?” K'harra asks, clearly not wanting to know. But also unable to stop herself from asking.

“Mrl'lall. She is the one who told us. Of the Henshin Breaker, as well as the telepathy-blocking technique, and Kryat.” you tell her, only for one of the others to suddenly call from the ground where Novi had been sobbing.
“Mrl'lall is dead?” she asks, sounding exhausted. Not just physically, but a deep, soul weary. “Dammit. Then I take it she was one of the ones who came to abduct Ticho?”
“Yeah. It's thanks to her we know what we're up against. I nearly had him, as he tried to take her the first time. But he got away.” you answer, shaking your head. “If I hadn't let him get away that time, Mrl'lall'd still be alive. I'm sorry.”

Your apology stops all six Tamaranean women, but it's Novi who suddenly pushes herself up to her feet. Walking over to you, and wrapping her arms around your neck. Catching everyone by surprise, even Meloka. Although you do hear the faint creak of bending metal from by her, no doubt mangling the fork in her hand unconsciously as the Tamaranean woman holds onto you.

“It is not your fault, General Karn. But thank you.” she says, then lets go of you. “That you tried to save my cousin at all is enough. That's more than anyone else has done. If... If there's anything we can do to repay you, please, let us know.”

“Repay? There's nothing to repay.” you reply, expression turning more thoughtful. “But what of your people? It has been a long time since I spent time amongst your people, how are you all faring? Under Komand'r's rule, compared to her parents, how are your people?”

And at your question, the six all exchange glances. Before any of them say anything, you can see it. Things haven't been going well for them.

“Not well. Things under Queen Komand'r weren't THAT bad, since she didn't really change that much outside the palace.” Novi says, brows furrowed with a complicated expression in her eyes. “Aside from her drunken rampages, the empire at least ran. But now...”
“Ever since Kryat has taken over, things have been getting steadily worse.” K'lone says, wrapping her arms around herself. “For the last four months, no one has seen the queen. Only Kryat has been seen by anyone outside the palace, giving out orders 'on her behalf'. Everything in our empire is now under Kryat's control.”

“Everything?” Broly asks, raising a brow. But Kori's worry is different.
“What do you mean my sister hasn't been seen in months?” Kori asks, looking and sounding worried.
“No one has seen her, outside the palace. And the only ones allowed in now are the Royal Guard, and of course Kryat.” Tyarind'r says darkly. “No one else has even been seen going into the palace willingly, much less leaving.”
“Broly, dear, we need to go. If my sister is in trouble, we must help her.” she says, turning to your son. “She may be a terrible person, who has done terrible things, but she is still my sister.”

“No.” Broly says, his tone absolute. “Not while you're still pregnant with our child. Once our child is born, safe, and healthy, then we can go. But not until then.”
“But...!” she starts, ready to argue, only to sigh out. “Yes, you are right. Our child comes first.”

Kori's hands come to the swell of her belly, holding their child. Where you suddenly see her eyes widen, looking down as you see her belly move. The child inside her kicking one of her hands, tears coming to her eye. Broly rises immediately, going to her side and laying his hand over hers. Feeling their child kicking together, his other arm around her as both of their eyes tear up. Most of the other Tamaraneans circle around their former princess, but K'harra turns her focus back to you.

“K'harra. There's more, isn't there?” you ask, the woman nodding.
“Yes. Everyone who speaks up about Kryat disappears. Not all of them are just killed.” she says, hugging her arms around herself. “Sometimes, the Guard will come and take them. And they're never seen again. And, even worse, there have been rumors.”
“Rumors?” Caulifla asks, speaking up for the first time. Her expression concerned. “About what?”

“The bodies. Ever since people have started going missing, from the palace's disposal, there have been bones found. Bones chewed by fangs, bearing marks unlike anything ever seen before.” K'harra says, shivering slightly. “The rumor is that Kryat is eating the people he has taken to the palace, and that's what fuels his dark powers.”
“Taking and eating the people? Where have I heard something like that before...?” Cauli asks, more to herself as she picks at her food. Clearly lost in thought, trying to remember.
“That sounds terrible.” Karn Jr says to her, then turns to you. “When are you going?”

“What?” you ask your youngest son, blinking once in confusion.
“When are you gonna go save them?” he asks again, eyes serious. “They need help. When are you gonna stop this bad guy, like all the others you've stopped?”

Well? How do you answer your son?

“Let me see.” you tell him, closing your eyes and reaching out telepathically. Thinking out to your elder twins, and the third consciousness they share. “Tatsu, Tomi, Tomitsu, can you hear me? Is everything okay?”

But you don't get an answer. You can't feel their minds at all, not even a whisper of connection to either of them. Which is immediately worrying, you putting more focus, more energy into your telepathy.

“Tomi! Tatsu! Tomitsu! Can any of you hear me?” you shout into the void, but again receive no answer. Leaving the connection open, trying to reach them but opening your eyes. Meeting your youngest son's gaze. “I don't know. Tatsu and Tomi aren't responding.”

And as you say this all your kids freeze, your wife's eyes locking on you for a moment before undoubtedly trying to reach them herself. And when she too can't reach them, you can hear the worry in her tone.

“Shit. We need to go. Figure out what's happening, right now.” your wife says, standing from her seat in a hurry. “They're in trouble, we have to-!”
“Easy, Mel. We don't know they're in trouble.” you tell her, but your words feel hollow even to you. “They're not being held prisoner or something trying to publicly bait us into doing something, so they're probably not captured.”

You then turn your focus from your wife to the Tamaraneans.

“That telepathy-blocking technique. Is it widespread?” you ask them, meeting their gazes. All of who recoil at the sudden increase in volume, the sharpness of your tone. “Is that the only way to stop telepathy, or are there other methods this Kryat has begun to employ?”
“I-not to our knowledge.” one of them speaks up, then Nova speaks up.

“Not long after Kryat took over, he'd visit every important building. Casting some sort of magic spell over them. Maybe that could have something to do with it?” Nova asks, her tone trying to sound hopeful, trying to offer what help she can.
“Karn, we don't have time to waste!” your wife urges, a desperate edge to her tone. “We have to go and help them, right now!”

“What if they're hiding, trying to avoid being caught?” Broly asks your wife, Meloka whirling to face him. “If this 'Kryat' is as powerful as we think, he might be able to intercept telepathy, just like Raven does. Cutting their minds off from being reached would protect them, keep them safe-”
“That's a what-if and you know it. We have to act with what we know.” she tells him, then turns back to you. Her expression bordering on panic. “Karn, we have to do something!”

But what? What do you do? What CAN you do?
>Take your family and return to New Salda, then take Meloka to Towa. See if she can find your twins with her magic, if she can't turn them up then you know there's a real problem
>Telepathically call out to Cooler and let him know you and Meloka are going to Azar to find your eldest twins, as you can't reach them. Then tell him everything you found out before returning to Raven and have her re-open the portal to Azar
>Ask the gathered Tamaranean women if any of them would be willing to go to Azar, to try and find your twins on that Tamaranean colony world
>Telepathically call Haathe, ask her to get Raven to open the portal to Azar, and keep in constant communication as she looks for the twins. She's strong enough that you're not worried for her safety, and with the Berserker Soul bond you're sure you can reach her through any interference

“Yeah. We're going to.” you tell her, standing up as you telepathically reach out to the emperor, Cooler. “Cooler. Meloka and I are going to Azar. Tatsu and Tomi are unreachable, we're retrieving our children.”
“General Karn. Taking such direct-” Cooler starts, but you interrupt him, quickly telling him everything you learned from the six Tamaranean defectors.

“If that bastard Kryat hasn't done anything to my children it won't be an issue. But if he has-!” you continue, but this time it's he who interrupts you.
“Karn. You will listen to me. Very carefully.” Cooler answers, his voice ice down your spine. “Retrieve your children. Do not engage unless absolutely necessary, cause as little collateral damage as possible. If you somehow encounter Queen Komand'r, you are to report IMMEDIATELY to me, and I shall handle her myself. Is that understood?”
“Understood.” you reply, Cooler ending the communications after a moment. You then reach out to Raven, telling her everything as well as you raise your right hand to your forehead.

“Dad? Where are you going?” Okira asks, tone worried.
“Your mother and I'll be right back. We're going to get Tatsu and Tomi back.” you tell them, and the moment your wife's arm touches yours you teleport. Leaving Broly's ship, returning to New Salda. Where Raven already has a portal opened, leading into a darkness you can't quite see into.
“Good hunting, both of you. I shall leave this portal opened, at just a pinpoint in size. So nothing can come through, but that way you can sense us here, and know where the return point will be. Are you ready?”
“Ready.” Meloka answers instantly, then turns to you. But, right as you're about to answer, a thought strikes your mind.

“Just a moment.” you answer, kicking off and flying back home. Dashing back into your ship and to your bedroom, where Orlen and Guprei have not only finished the sword rack, but also placed most of your acquired weapons. Your Wolf Knight sword, gravity hammer, the large, golden sword and Darksword you'd claimed from invaders, and the black knight's smaller blade all hanging there. But, from a pair of hooks on either side of the wall beside it, your massive blade from the dark knight also hangs, and on the other side Moonlight glows as well. You can almost feel Moonlight calling to you, and so without hesitation walk over to it. Taking Moonlight in your right hand, then sprinting back out of your home. Rushing outside and taking to the air, the entire trip from and back to Raven's Island taking less than twenty seconds. “Ready.”

Raven's eyes widen as she sees the blade, understanding dawning in her eyes before nodding, widening the portal large enough for you both to enter. And so you do, walking in side-by-side with your wife. Stepping through from the bright, sunny day on the beach of New Salda to a dark prison, the only light coming from Moonlight itself as it lights up the darkness. And as you hold it, you feel something strange. You feel, while holding this sword while on another world, that you can tap into the Champion powers. You're not sure for how long, or how much it would give you. But, as long as you hold this blade, carrying this piece of your world, you might be able to get just a bit more power when you need it.

“Come on.” Meloka says, leading the way immediately. Climbing back up those stairs you'd descended to free Raven from her prison cell all those years ago. “Let's go.”

Wordlessly you follow your wife, Moonlight's light illuminating the darkness as you expand your ki sense. And realize immediately that this old prison's empty. Nothing is alive down here besides the two of you, you realizing the twins would have headed up to explore as well. And as you both keep going up, you expand your ki sense further and further, trying to find any nearby energy signatures. But you can sense nothing, as if your ki sense is somehow locked down to the prison itself. YOU and Meloka climb higher and higher, reaching the entrance. Sharing a glance, she then presses both hands to it, slowly pushing the door open. And the moment the door starts to open it swings wide, revealing more than a dozen of the Tamaranean soldiers, all with their hands leveled at the two of you, energy gathered in their hands.

“Freeze! By order of Kryat, on behalf of her majesty Queen Komand'r, all who trespass here are to be put under-” one of them starts, only for you to suddenly ascend. Not wasting any time and IMMEDIATELY transforming into your Berserker God form, emerald aura blazing wildly up around you and your wife both. The guards all immediately take a half-step back, but as they do you notice the sword in your hands doesn't grow with you like the others did. It doesn't magically resize to match your transformed growth, now closer to a short sword in your hand still glowing with that same beautiful light. “... Arrest?”

“Get out of my way.” you say, voice a low, rumbling growl. Meeting each of their eyes in turn, waiting to see if any of them are stupid or arrogant enough to try to attack you. But it seems they're all substantially cowed by your transformation, by the power they've all no doubt seen on display by now. And instead of trying to either attack or arrest you, they all take another step back. However, none lower their hands out of fear, clearly worried you're going to go on the attack. “Now, I'm only going to say this once: Where. Are. My. Children. Tatsu. And. Tomi?”

Silence hangs for a second, then two, then three. The guards all exchanging worried, frightened looks before the one who'd first spoke speaks up once more.

“F-Follow me, General Karn. Meloka. I will take you to them at once.” the speaker says, lowering his hands and letting his energy fade. To which you reply without words, simply nodding once. The guard then issues an order in a language you don't understand, but don't have to be a genius to understand what they're doing as the officer leads you and your wife from that old, now seemingly abandoned prison as he hopefully takes you to your children and not some ambush. You hope for his sake he means what he's saying, because if this is some sort of trap or ambush? He dies first.

And that's all for this weekend, enjoy this weekend's run so far? Ready to see Azar in a way you haven't since back before the Covenant razed it? Ready to find your elder twins, and see what kind of shape they're in? Do you think Komand'r is really behind everything, do you think Kryat is the one orchestrating things, or is there perhaps another player moving these pieces from behind the scenes, maneuvering you for their own ends? Do you think Komand'r is even in the royal palace at all, or has she been taken out of the picture for Kryat's rule? All this and more, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!
>>
>>6386893
I'm going to assume Komand'r is dead until we see her in the flesh. It'd be a crying shame if that's the case, even if she was a piece of shit.
That said, she's not the only Tamaranean at risk of death if these fuckers decided to treat our children like prisoners of war.
>>
>>6386919
A fair assumption. Power grabbers don't often leave alive those who can challenge their claims.
Oh absolutely. Now this is Azar and not Tamaran, so if your children have been taken off-world, that could present... Issues.

>Perhaps it isn't recognizing YOU as New Salda's Champion? But it recognizes its champion's soul within you instead...
I was wondering about this. Those souls in Karn are unharmed. It is different from what Shao Kahn or Shang Tsung does. They take the soul and use it as something to increase their power. Karn is providing a protection for those spirits at the moment.
>>6386127
>However, as you hold it, you feel something. Deep inside, you feel something in your chest yearning towards the blade. As you focus on that feeling, you feel that it's that soul you'd claimed. The soul of that black-armored knight, Raime as the priestess had called him, clearly still remembers the blade.
Interesting. Those souls are not locked in stasis, but react to what is happening around Karn. Do they see what Karn sees?
>>6386128
>The blade is unlike anything you've ever seen, a luminous pale blue-green blade of light made solid.
That’s a very nice sword.
>And something tells you that, while powerful, this weapon will only truly be useful here, on New Salda itself.
Is it really? Unless it turns into stone when not on New Salda, perhaps it can be uniquely useful to races that have strong reaction to the moon. Saiyans and Ctarl-Ctarl. I think there might be a big potential in this weapon since it is in fact a moon. There is "Ikari" or "Wrathful" state which was used by Broly in movie. To access strength of great ape without turning into one. Maybe sword can help with this? The “Moonlight” is strong enough to make Karn and Meloka react to it, but not too intense to cause an unwanted Oozaru transformation. That’s a delicate balance that is not easy to maintain. I think this blade may have much more usability and potential in the hands of a Saiyan or Ctarl-Ctarl than it seems at first glance.
>>6386391
>“ANY WORD SPOKEN INSIDE THIS ROOM CANNOT BE OVERHEARD BY ANY MEANS KNOWN OR UNKNOWN TO ANYTHING OUTSIDE.”
Okira made this room in Broly’s ship better. Unless I’m wrong, this room will retain this property even after she leaves. This is very useful and Kryat hates it.
>>6386888
>I shall leave this portal opened, at just a pinpoint in size. So nothing can come through, but that way you can sense us here, and know where the return point will be.
Very smart.

Impressive. I had a feeling it would not be useless. I think this blade can do a lot more than just look nice.

>And that's all for this weekend, enjoy this weekend's run so far?
Yes. It was very interesting.
>Ready to see Azar in a way you haven't since back before the Covenant razed it?
Sure. It seems things are getting worse there since Kryat stared to rule.
>Ready to find your elder twins, and see what kind of shape they're in?
Yes.
>Do you think Komand'r is really behind everything, do you think Kryat is the one orchestrating things, or is there perhaps another player moving these pieces from behind the scenes, maneuvering you for their own ends?
At this point I’m nor sure. They have not seen the queen for a suspiciously long time. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but I got the impression that somebody saved Kryat from Karn’s deadly telekinetic crushing grip, so the dark side user is not working alone.
>Do you think Komand'r is even in the royal palace at all, or has she been taken out of the picture for Kryat's rule?
That would be shocking. I think she is still there.

>if this is some sort of trap or ambush? He dies first.
I wonder if it would be a Henshin Breaker trap.
>>

Shao Khan and Shang Tsung specifically do what Karn did with the Manus soul, and use them as fuel to feed their own powerful souls.
See's not the correct word, but they perceive the world.
It is. Found a beautiful render of the original.
While you don't know what Moonlight can truly do, it can only bring out its full potential on New Salda. But a portable moon does empower Saiyans and Ctarl-Ctarl within its glow.
More than better, that's now the most secure room in the Seventh Universe that isn't in a pocket dimension.
Absolutely. Not only for you to find your way back, but as a precaution if YOU get in trouble others can be rapidly deployed.
>>6387322
It is a lot more than a pretty sword. You're carrying part of New Salda itself with you.
Glad you enjoyed, and things are absolutely worse.
>but I got the impression that somebody saved Kryat from Karn’s deadly telekinetic crushing grip
_:^)_
A good question, where she went.
>>6387332
Would be a good way to nerf powerful invaders, certainly. But having it be fired off BEFORE the trapped realize the trap has been sprung would be optimal. Nerfing a power you couldn't take in a fair fight, preventing it from reaching full power is a smart move. Especially after watching the Tournament of Power.

>And now you know New Salda's original name given by the Kai at its creation.
Nice choice by the second Grand Supreme Kai. Is that the same Kai that fought against Moro and Buu?

I also must say that New Salda or Verdite is a lot older that I was aware. Grand Supreme Kai is long gone and his creation still remains. She might be one of the oldest worlds in Universe 7. Not only she was not destroyed in Buu’s rampage but also avoided being a target of Hakai by Beerus. Saiyan’s new planet has a long history. Did Grand Supreme Kai put some blessing on her so she managed to get though all those dangers to this day?

Yes. Shin hasn't exactly been busy MAKING planets since Buu was sealed, he spent almost all his time hunting Babidi to prevent Buu's revival.

We'll see.

Follow up question,

Since universes are mirrors, does that mean if Shin creates anything it will show up in champas universe as well, or does that mean both supreme kais need to work in coordination when making new additions to their universes?
>>
>>6388575
A good question. Perhaps you'll get your chance to ask soon. Or, if he hasn't, if maybe Kars has under Elder Kai's guidance.
>>6388576
I'll say this now, that one's spoilers. May be revealed later, but that one is very spoilers. We know both Universes 7 and 6 both have or at least had Earth, Planet Sadala, Namek, metalmen planet, and whatever planet Freeza's race originated from.
>>
>>6388597
It would be really funny if Kars made more planets in the past few years than Shin has during his entire tenure as Supreme Kai.
>>
>>6388597
>Perhaps you'll get your chance to ask soon.
I’m very curious about this. How shocking would it be if it somehow turned out that Kai that created the first Saiyan home world and first Saiyans was actually Shin.
>Or, if he hasn't, if maybe Kars has under Elder Kai's guidance.
I’m very curious if Kars has officially made a new life form or even a mortal race that will now live in universe 7. I'm also curious if Kars has already made an entire planet. That sounds like lot of work. Aside from planet there need to be also some plants and animals and finally new mortals. Is he already doing all of this?
>>
>>6388611
Wouldn't it?
>>6388881
Would make Saiyans only around 1000 years old as a race, roughly.
>officially
That word carrying a lot of weight in that sentence. And yes, creating a world is a lot of effort.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 258 Intermission-

AGE 759, PLANET RENSACOR

“So, there's really some sort of hero called Tapion trapped in there? Wouldn't they be tiny?” you ask your father as he works in the lab, the old, red alien watching your dad intensely. Almost giddy with excitement, clearly ready to see the hero escape from his thousand-year old prison inside that music box too.
“He's there. The only question is if I can get it open.” your father, the Crystal Sage Chilli replies. You are Meloka Wolbach, daughter of the Archwizards Crystal Sage Chilli and Master of Explosions Megumin, big sis of Kazuburo, granddaughter of the “Dragon of New Salda” Karn, a Super Saiyan yourself, and one day you're gonna be an even greater Archwizard than either of your parents. But right now, you're still a kid, and watching your dad weave magic you can barely comprehend, realize you've still got a long way to go before you're on his level. “Without damaging the mechanisms.”

“Hold on. You're telling me you have been able to open it this entire time?” Hoi, the alien who brought the music box asks, looking stunned as you look over at him. His jaw-whiskers twitching. “You've been tinkering for hours just to preserve the box?”
“Of course. If this legendary hero was sealed away, there's bound to be a reason.” your father answers him levelly. “If he's been corrupted or mind-controlled by something, keeping his prison intact just in case is just common sense.”

Which makes sense to you, as you nod along. But with your father so focused on the box, he doesn't see the alien's sudden wary expression. As if he's scheming something, and you're immediately suspicious. He looks to you like he's hiding something.

“I think I've got it.” your dad then says, picking up the box in both hands. But he doesn't immediately open it, instead standing from his desk. “Come on, let's go outside to open it. Just in case.”
“Of course. I cannot wait to see the legendary hero Tapion revived.” Hoi says, again there's just something off about him, your brows furrowing. But you follow your dad, who leads you all outside. Where your mother is with Kazuburo as he'd practiced his summons and fusions, having just sent away his newest one.

“Wow, that took longer than expected hun. Maybe you're losing your touch.” your mother teases with a grin, your father chuckling as he walks out. Carrying the box and setting it on the ground carefully before stepping back. “Ready?”
“Ready. Everyone, stand back.” he says, kneeling and pressing a hand to the ground. “Crystal Magic: Crystallize!”

And crystals form on the ground under his hand, forming a line along the ground until they reach the music box. Climbing up the tiny legs and into the lock mechanism, then everything seemingly goes quiet. For several seconds, nothing happens. But then, you all hear it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUnjJIWLpoo

“Woah! It's so pretty!” you say, eyes sparkling as you watch the tiny handle turn, the music oddly soothing. After a second you close your eyes, swaying back and forth as the music carries you.
“It's beautiful.” your mother says softly, you all listening to the music. But then you hear something else, your eyes opening. And as they do, you see the box itself start to open as well! The lid starts to rise as billowing smoke is released, glowing with unnatural, magical light. And you instantly start to sense something, someone powerful within. You feel their energy beginning to coalesce as the smoke forms the shape of a person, only for the music box to suddenly shatter! Breaking apart as the being within becomes whole. But the music doesn't stop, instead it continues. Not as the music box, but played on some sort of wind instrument in the figure's hands as he plays it.

He stands tall, taller than either of your parents, around your grandfather's height before he transforms. Pale skinned and with a bright red mohawk, large, pointy ears, he wears an orange and brown suit with a bright blue scarf, and a sword slung over his right shoulder. Glowing with that same light as the smoke as his song ends, and he opens his eyes.

“Hmm hmmm hmmm hmm.” Hoi says, stepping forward only for the figure's brows to furrow, drawing his sword and leveling it at the red alien's neck.
“Stay back!” he snarls, and even his voice is cool! “Was it you who revived me?”
“You're most welcome. Nice to have some legroom, after a thousand years?” Hoi asks with a chuckle, but again something doesn't feel right. You look to your mother, then your father, but neither of them interfere. Clearly waiting to see how this plays out.

“You old fool. Send me back!” Tapion demands, still holding the alien at sword-point.
“Not an option. Now that the music box has been destroyed.” Hoi says with a chuckle, one that sends a small chill up your back. There's DEFINITELY something off about this guy, but why does the hero Tapion seem so angry? You decide you're gonna introduce yourself, and do it right!
“I am Meloka Wolbach!” you declare, stepping forward and posing. “Daugh-!”
“Do you have ANY idea what you've done? Well do you?” he says, interrupting you as his eyes sweep over you all. His face is mad, but something tells you he isn't mad at you all. But something... Else. “I don't know that I can stop him this time.”

“Stop him? Don't worry yourself about that. That's why my parents are here!” you say, stepping forward again and gesturing to your dad and mom. “They're the strongest Archwizards on this planet.”
“That's right. And I can feel that power you're trying to keep concealed. So, what's the story? How do you have half a monster sealed within you?” then your dad turns to Hoi, his expression turning deadly serious. “And why do you have that same power inside you?”

“WHAT?” Tapion exclaims, IMMEDIATELY leaping away from Hoi. But, as he does, several things all happen immediately. The instant Tapion leaps back, Hoi lunges forward, his hands going for Tapion's instrument he was blowing into. He's fast, but your father's faster. And the crystals he spread on the ground as he was opening the music box shoot up, binding Hoi mid-jump.
“Thought so.” your father says, his expression serious as you turn to him, shocked. “Knew there was something off about you.”

“Tch! I won't be stopped here! Not when I'm so close!” he snarls, and suddenly you feel it. Something powerful, something EVIL starts to radiate from Hoi. More of that smoke, the same smoke that was released from the music box is released from Hoi's body. A LOT of smoke, your father IMMEDIATELY grabbing you, Kazuburo, and your mother, flying the three of you near-instantly to the roof of your home.
“Stay back!” he orders as he sets you all down, turning to see the smoke materialize into the lower half of a titanic monster! And as your father sees it, he immediately throws off his robe, ascending to his full Primal power in a flash of golden light. However, before your dad can go on the offensive, you all hear it!

The hero, Tapion, begins playing his instrument once more. And as you watch, the creature is turned back into that smoke. Only to be absorbed INTO Tapion!

“No! Hirudegarn is MINE to control!” Hoi snarls, conjuring some sort of dark, sinister magic to break free of your father's magic. Only for your father to close the distance in a blink, and without hesitation decapitates Hoi. Chopping his head clean off with a backhanded chop, then turns to Tapion as he continues playing. You all watch as the monster is slowly fully sealed within him, leaving no trace of it behind as the song ends. Only for the hero to draw his sword and drop to a knee, offering it to your father.
“Please. You have to kill me. End us both, I cannot keep Hirudegarn contained for long.” he says, you gasping in shock. Tears forming in your eyes as your father takes his sword, moved to tears at the sight of this noble hero about to sacrifice his own life so selflessly to end that monster. But instead of using it on Tapion, your father sets the weapon aside. “Wh-What are you doing? Hurry, before it can-! GYUYAAAAAH!!”

As Tapion screams you sense that powerful energy once more as smoke begins pouring from his body, that monster is going to be freed! But your dad doesn't hesitate, powering back down so he can use his own magic.

“Crystal Magic Sealer!” your father shouts, conjuring one of his magic-less crystals, tossing it into the smoke. The crystal absorbing the smoke, drawing more and more of that darkness into it. But as it draws forth more and more and even more, even your dad's crystal can't fully contain it! The crystal cracks, then shatters entirely, freeing the monster. The smoke pouring forth, coalescing into the true form of the monster they called Hirudegarn. “Tapion, get back! Go back to the tower with my family. I'll handle this.”

And your father ascends once more, taking on his Primal form in another flash of golden light. The monster IMMEDIATELY turning its focus on your dad, roaring in challenge.

“GWROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAR!” it bellows, you father standing between you all and it, his back to you. And even as scary as this monster looks, you know your dad can handle this. He won't lose, not even against a monster as big and scary as this one.

Huh. I'd have thought Chilli's crystals would have been more than adequate for sealing something as powerful as Hirudegarn given how effective they were against us.
I guess that implies the Hirudegarn of this timeline is a bit more to handle than others. I WONDER WHO MIGHT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH A THING?
No seriously, I have no idea if this was Hearts or Fu this time.
>>
>>6388989
Less a question of power and more a misunderstanding of WHAT Hirudegarn actually is. Even at his level, he's going to have a hard time actually landing any damage on this phantom demon.
And no, Hirudegarn's power isn't due to any outside interference. He put belt to ass 6 months after Buu's defeat to Ultimate Gohan and SS3 Gotenks. And KOd both SS2 Goku and Vegeta as well, Hirudegarn's STRONG. Not AS strong as Super Janemba, but stronger than his fat form.
>>
>>6389004
Ya know, that reminds me, is there any link between Hirudegarn's nature as a malicious phantom and the revenants formed by the Destron Gas back in the day?
I know one's magical and the other's a product of super science, but it's not like they couldn't have come to similar conclusions via different methods.
>>
>>6389013
No, Hirudegarn is a Majin. A demon of mist, only made solid when it strikes. Whereas Destron Gas entities are hatred given form, who once formed stay solid until they're hit hard enough to break their physical bodies back into gas.

>“Hold on. You're telling me you have been able to open it this entire time?” Hoi, the alien who brought the music box asks, looking stunned as you look over at him. His jaw-whiskers twitching. “You've been tinkering for hours just to preserve the box?”
Very nice. Sadly the box shattered anyway.
>“Of course. If this legendary hero was sealed away, there's bound to be a reason.” your father answers him levelly. “If he's been corrupted or mind-controlled by something, keeping his prison intact just in case is just common sense.”
I wonder what will happen with Tapion if the Hirudegarn is destroyed.
>>6389187
>No, Hirudegarn is a Majin. A demon of mist, only made solid when it strikes.
Strong ability. I hope we get to see rest of this fight.

Glad you enjoyed, Chilli's side plot with Hirudegarn's moving along quite nicely.
True. He did try and preserve it.
A good question, perhaps you'll see soon.
It is a FRUSTRATING ability, necessitating a certain fighting style to counter it.

And yes, Soon!

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Entering the First's temple, Karn met with a skeleton who shared their people's past, and their fate before passing on, handing over his staff. Revealing the fate of New Salda's moon, having been turned into a sword named Moonlight. Claiming that weapon Karn returned to the surface, trained his students, then met with Broly and Kori for lunch. Only to learn several truths from the Tamaranean defectors who fled, leaving Tamaran for Koriand'r, the exiled princess and sister of their queen. Learning more of what's going on in the Tamaranean empire, Karn tried to reach the twins sent to their territory, and hearing nothing ventured to Azar himself, with Meloka. Only to be surrounded the moment they emerged onto the surface. And as we rejoin Karn, you're presumably being led towards your twins through the Tamaranean city, Meloka at your side.

“So. You seem to recognize us.” your wife says to the guard who is leading you, her hands behind her head in a pose of seeming-relaxation. But you know your wife, she's trying to appear calm but is ready to pounce at a moment's notice. “So, where are our children?”
“Safe. No harm has come to them, they have been provided for as if they were one of ours.” the guard answers immediately, a little too quickly. Almost as if he's practiced this line. You glance to Meloka, who looks just as unconvinced as she is. But, for now you both keep following him.
“Good. Because I can't sense their energy right now to verify this myself.” your wife replies, her tone taking on a dangerous edge. “If that's proven to be a lie, you're first.”

The man audibly gulps at this, clearly, visibly nervous as he continues leading you all through the streets. And, while the city looks far different than you remember from before the Covenant conquered this planet, the most striking change is in the Tamaranean people themselves. They all move with their heads down, shoulders hunched and moving quietly. No longer the wild, boisterous people they were when you'd first met them. They all seem to be cowed by something, almost like they're now an enslaved people.

But what do you do?
>Try and telepathically reach out to Raven, to try and keep that mental link open as long as possible so she'll know immediately if something goes wrong
>Telepathically link to Meloka, keep in constant contact so the moment that link's broken you'll know you are under their technique and an attack's probably coming
>Expand your ki sense, try and find your kids' ki yourself. Even if you have to expand your range to engulf the whole planet
>Keep quiet and follow along for now, but keep quietly observing everything you can

“Meloka. Let's stay in contact.” you suddenly think to your wife. “The moment we lose our telepathic connection, we'll know they're trying something.”
“Good idea.” she replies, neither of you making any visible moves or indications you're telepathically linked to one another. Now, linked mentally, you and your wife continue following the guard who said he would take you to your children. That is, until you hear a small child's voice calling out in panic.

“No, stop! Help me, someone!” a child calls, sounding no older than your youngest, and before you've even fully processed the words you're already on the move. Turning you take two steps and launch yourself off the ground, dashing around the building to the alley behind it. Where you see two adults in dark cloaks grabbing at a young girl child backed up to a wall with nowhere to go. One of the two draws their hand back, for what you're not sure, but you immediately act. Dashing in, you wrap your right hand around the smaller adult's forearm, stopping them from moving.
“Who the hell do you-?!” the being exclaims, their head snapping around to face you. Only to come face-to-face with your belly button. Looking up, and up, and up some more, the Tamaranean's eyes go wide when they see your face, color draining from their expression. “Y-You...?!”

“Me.” you reply, the other one stopping and turning to you now as well. The child also looking up, trembling uncontrollably in fear. Meanwhile the Tamaranean you're not holding in place takes a step back, eyes wide in terror.
“Shit, what the hell are you doing here?!” she says, stumbling back against the wall as well.
“Funny. I was about to ask you the same question.” you reply, voice low and dangerous. “What the hell are you two doing to that child?”

“Wh-We're just f-following orders.” the one you're holding says, a hint of panic in their voice. “Kryat's orders, on behalf of her majesty Queen Komand'r.”
“Orders, huh? And what exactly ARE those orders?” you ask as the guard you'd been following and Meloka turn the corner behind you, their footsteps echoing slightly down the alley. “Where are you trying to take that child?”
“Kidnapping children, huh? So, let me guess; Kryat's orders?” your wife asks as she walks up without hesitation, the guards immediately looking nervous. But neither stop her as she walks right past them, kneeling to the child. “It's okay, you're safe now.”

The child immediately tears up, then openly bawls as she buries her face in your wife's chest. Clinging to her desperately, sobbing openly as she holds onto your wife. Silence hangs in the air, the only sounds the child's cries and your wife's gentle consoling. You look from her to the two guards, who both look uncomfortable. The one you're still holding clearly wants to escape, wants to flee. But you don't let him go, keeping him held there in your grip. And the other, looking from her ally to you, clearly deciding if she's going to try and cut and run or stick with him.

“Don't try it.” you tell her, the second cloaked guard freezing in place. “You won't make it.”
“A-!” she exclaims, going more pale at the obvious threat. But she doesn't take your warning, and tries to take to the air. Dashing straight up and away, to escape you. But it is futile, as you reach up with your other hand. Using your telekinesis to grab that other guard, then slam her back down to the ground with a sickening crunch. “Kyuuuooah?!”
“I tried to warn you.” you say, releasing your telekinetic hold and placing your right boot square on her chest. Pinning her in place, holding her there as you look to the one still in your grip. “You gonna make a stupid decision too?”

The guard shakes his head, clearly cowed. Seeing your telekinesis pull his fellow guard from the air, he's clearly not going to try and fight back. But that leaves one question:

What do you do with this child?
>Have Meloka take the child with you both, she'll be safer with the two of you than on her own
>Tell the kid to get out of here, then take these two guards with you to go find your children
>Ask the kid if she has anywhere to go, and if not offer to take her in as well

Once you're sure that guard won't try to run, or try anything equally foolish you then release his arm, then stepping over the one you dropped with telekinesis go to your wife and kneel down as well. Reaching out, placing your hand on the girl's back.

“Do you have a home to go back to?” you ask gently, the girl looking up from your wife's chest to you. “Do you have a place you can go, with people who will protect you?”

But as soon as you ask, you can see the truth in her eyes. The young Tamaranean girl's eyes water back up as she shakes her head, trying to hold in her tears as her lower lip quivers.

“I see. Well then, how about you come with us instead?” you offer, the girl's eyes going wide. “My wife Meloka and I are just here to get our twins, Tatsu and Tomi and bring them home. But if you want, you can come with us.”
“Ah...! R-Really?” she asks hesitantly, as if half-expecting you to immediately rescind the offer and laugh. “D-D-Do you mean it?”
“Of course my Karn means it. He has a habit of taking in strays.” your wife answers, her tone slightly teasing as you can feel the two standing guards' sudden panic in the air. Meloka stands up, still holding the kid as you rise as well. Turning back around to the first guard, meeting his gaze.

“Now, where were we?” you ask him, returning to the guard who you had been following. “Right, sorry for the interruption. Let's keep going, take us to Tatsu and Tomi.”
“I- Ah- R-Right.” the first guard says, nodding and turning around. He glances once to both of the guards, the one standing frozen and the one laying on the ground where you'd put her, then turns away. Leading you back out of the alley, and back onto the main throughway through the city. Where, even holding a Tamaranean child, your wife doesn't even get a second glance from those who even bother looking up at you all at all. The child hugging herself to Meloka, who reaches out telepathically.
“They're taking kids.” she thinks to you, her anger simmering beneath the surface. “Children. That bastard!”
“Yeah. Keep that one close, you let her go for a second they'll try and take her again.” you answer, following the guard up to the largest, palatial building's front double doors. Where a pair of Tamaranean guards are waiting, and seeing you all immediately open the doors. Letting the four of you inside without hesitation.

>>6389933
Stepping through the doors, you immediately feel it. The moment you pass under the archway, your telepathic link to your wife is cut. As if something in the very building itself is dampening your telepathy. You feel your eye twitch at this, then try and expand your ki sense. Only to find that, somehow, that's been suppressed as well. You can't sense ANY ki signatures inside this building, even your wife right next to you. The sensation is disorienting, but you keep your composure and don't act like anything's amiss. Glancing over, you see the child hugging Meloka close, burying her face in her and trembling. Clearly afraid, not wanting to be here, but also not daring to let go of Meloka.

Then, without warning the double doors slam shut behind you and your wife, leaving you both inside this place you cannot simply teleport out. And from behind the pillars and through doorways, over a hundred Tamaranean warriors all suddenly step out. Each one looking serious, determined, but as your gaze looks over those you can see, you can see the fear in many of their eyes as well. Looks like this might have been a trap after all.

But what do you do now?
>Immediately go on the attack, don't give them a chance to use that Henshin Breaker or that mind control technique on you or your wife
>Tell Meloka to Barrier, leap up into the middle of the room and unleash your Red Dawn. Level this building and EVERYONE inside it, this is clearly a trap
>Ask those gathered where your son and daughter are, that if you get your children you'll leave without this turning into a fight
>Immediately tap into your Supreme Instinct powers, trust your instincts and let your body fight this battle as it sees fit
>Don't attack yet, wait and see what's going on before jumping to any conclusions. They're probably far more terrified of you than you're worried about any of them

“Where are my children?” you ask, eyes sweeping across the room. “I am here for my son and daughter, Tatsu and Tomi. Bring me my children, unharmed, and my wife and I will leave without a fight. Or, you all can try and stop me. And go have yourselves a face-to-face meeting with everyone else who has tried to stop me. So. What's it going to be?”

Silence greets your declaration, you sweeping your gaze back and forth among the gathered warriors. The tension hangs thick in the air, but stretched taught. As if a single wrong word or action will cause the situation to explode. However, at the far end of the cavernous room the other double doors open, and a hooded, cloaked figure steps through flanked by another half-dozen guards. Each of them all wearing the same dark cloaks as the two that were trying to take the child. And as the figure steps forward, you recognize him from Myrl'lall's descriptions. That's Kryat!

“General Karn. Goddess Meloka. I have been expecting you.” he says from underneath his hood as he addresses you both. Voice rough and scratchy before he coughs, a pained sound. One that makes a small smirk climb the corner of your mouth, seeing how close you'd come to actually stopping him before. “Your children are safe, and unharmed. The Tamaranean empire wouldn't endanger our alliance with the Saiyan people, even if there have been... Personal animosities between individuals in the past.”

“Good. Where are they, Kryat?” you ask, the being raising a brow. Clearly not aware you knew what he looked like, and surprised for a split-second at you knowing his face. But he recovers quickly, smoothing over his momentary hesitation.
“As I promised, they're safe. But they are not on this world. They have been brought to Tamaran, as there is currently... Dangerous dissent here on this world.” the Zabrak says smoothly, too smoothly. “Rumors and stirrings of a rebellion against her majesty Queen Komand'r's rightful rule, including a cowardly terrorist attack on the royal palace built here on this colony world.”

He then waves a hand almost dismissively, changing the subject as he continues.

“But these aren't your problems or concerns.” he says, then his gaze fixes on the child your wife's holding. “Ah, I see. Interesting. “he says, raising a gloved hand and stroking his chin thoughtfully. “So, you also found that one, while my Queen's own guard haven't been able to find her for a month. She is free to leave with you as well, General Karn. But be warned. Her parents were the leaders of the terror attack on our world, killing dozens of innocent people. If you take her with you, keep an eye on her. The apple might not fall far from that tree.”

At Kryat's words, you and your wife share a glance as he has another coughing fit. And you don't need telepathy to know what she's thinking, as you feel the same. Something's not right here, something's very, VERY wrong. But you don't yet know what, and aren't going to start making moves until you see your son and daughter.

“I shall take you to your children, just follow me.” Kryat says, turning and raising a hand towards the double doors he walked through. And there, between them, space itself begins to tear. Space rends as he tears open a portal through reality, not quite as smoothly as Raven, Mechikabura, or others, but clearly a portal nonetheless. Opening up from the hall you all are in now, into somewhere you've never seen before. He then turns back to you all, none of his guards making any moves towards the portal. “After you.”

“Really?” you reply, crossing your arms. “Wherever the hell that opens up to, you're going through first. We'll follow you in after.”
“So untrusting. However, I suppose that's to be expected. Given several of the traitors to the crown fled, seeking protection under your son's flag with our queen's banished sister.” Kryat says, shaking his head once, seeming almost disappointed. “Very well, I shall lead you through myself.”

And without hesitation he steps through, passing between realms effortlessly as he steps through. For a second you and your wife glance to one another again. The question clear in her eyes: do we trust him?

Without a word, you and Meloka converse with your eyes. She can see you want her to stay, to let you go while she protects this one. To which she nods, a bit reluctantly before flashing up into her Blue form.

“Go. I'll stay here.” she replies, you nodding then turn from her. Striding up to the portal without hesitation, and step through. The sensation's uncomfortable, leaving a sickening feeling in your guts, but then it passes. And you're no longer in familiar territory, stepping out of that dark portal into what appears to be a throne room of sorts. And there, sitting on the throne of the raised dais is none other than Queen Komand'r herself! But she's not alone, as your twins, Tatsu and Tomi, are each sitting there at her feet. Each one of your children holding onto one of her legs, clinging to her as Kryat vanishes in a puff of black smoke. The clearly-magical being reappearing behind her right shoulder as she sits on her throne, looking down at you.

“General Karn. It has been far too long.” she says, her voice smooth, relaxed. But her eyes are venomous, glaring at you with thinly-veiled hate and something else in her eyes. “And coming all by yourself, as well? Or did you simply not wish to share me with your wife, and have me all to yourself?”
“Queen Komand'r.” you reply evenly, meeting her gaze then looking to your twins. Neither of who react to your appearance, they don't even look away from her. Which is how you know something's IMMEDIATELY wrong. “Tatsu? Tomi? It's me, your dad.”
“They cannot hear you, dear general.” she says, an edge coming to her voice. Her expression turning far more smug, clearly enjoying the position she finds herself in, the power she seemingly has over your kids. “Right now, all that exists for them is me. Isn't that right, dear?”

She then reaches down, gently stroking Tomi's jaw with her hand. Not breaking eye contact as she stares you down.

“Yes, Mistress.” your daughter says, her voice dreamy and airy. As if she's not entirely here. Suddenly there's a cracking noise as you clench your fists so hard your knuckles all crack audibly.
“What. Did. You. Do?” you ask, your voice barely above a whisper. Your entire body going eerily still as you stare her down.

“All I did was love them, as if they were my own.” she answers, reaching down and ruffling Tatsu's hair with her other hand. Your son leaning into her touch affectionately, his eyes half-lidded. “I gave them the love I cannot give my own daughter, thanks in no small part to you, General.”

Her expression then turns cold and angry, an all-consuming rage burning behind her eyes. Her energy blazing, and that's when you see it. Her eyes blaze with energy, but not the same energy as before, or the scarlet of that power-enhancing gem.

“You are the one who took my child from me. My only child, the only one I'll ever have.” she says, and for a moment you feel a sympathetic pang for her plight. But as you see your children holding onto her legs, that sympathy evaporates just as quickly as it appeared. “That long-dicked bastard destroyed my womb, ruined my ability to have any more children. Then took my daughter from me. And you helped him.”
“If you treated your daughter right, I wouldn't have needed to get involved.” you reply, meeting her tone levelly. Not rising to her anger as well, not yet. Not with your kids' lives potentially in her hands. “She's not being held on New Salda against her will. She simply hasn't chosen to retu-”

“SILENCE!” she snarls, the fiery energy in her eyes blazing out of them! “I am QUEEN! I don't have to listen to your lies!”
“My queen. Perhaps, we can reach a deal?” Kryat asks her, Komand'r whirling on him with a snarl. But, seeing his expression she seems to calm down, sighing out after a second.
“What do you have in mind, Kryat?” she asks, the man stepping back forward with a gin.
“I propose a trade.” he says, looking past her to you. “Bring my Queen her daughter. And we shall return your children to you.”

Well? How do you react? Do you agree to the Tamaranean Queen's terms?
>Tell her you agree, that you'll bring her daughter back and leave, then when back on New Salda call Cooler, King Cold, Freeza, and King Vegeta IV telepathically and make a plan of how to retrieve your children
>Decline her deal, tell Komand'r that she's going to hand over your children, or she and anyone who tries to stop you will die

“Dammit!” you think to yourself, considering your options for a moment. But only for an instant, as an idea comes to mind. And you immediately reach out telepathically, trying to reach your twins. But not Tatsu or Tomi, no. Instead you try and reach the third consciousness connected to them both, Tomitsu. The fusion of their minds, the third being in their heads and result of their telepathic link they were born with. “Tomitsu! Tomitsu, can you hear me?!”

“Oooohohohohohoo! That's precious, general.” Queen Komand'r says, bringing the back of her hand to her mouth as she laughs at you. “You think you have ANY power here in my domain. Until you bring me my daughter, until she stands here before me, they're MINE! You took my only daughter, so now I'm taking two of yours. And if you want them back, you will bring me my daughter.”
“Mom. Who is that loud, scary man?” Tatsu asks Komand'r, and your heart stops. Mom. He just called her mom. Your son doesn't recognize you. And everything goes red.

“HRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar in uncontrollable rage, emerald aura blazing as the Berserker Soul's wrath perfectly aligns with your own. IMMEDIATELY surging up to one hundred percent, ready to rip her fucking head off, damn the consequences. But she doesn't rise, instead keeping her hands on the twins. Soothing your son, speaking softly, gently to him.
“The bad man is leaving, and going to bring my first daughter back. Don't worry, Mommy won't let him hurt you.” she says to him, then raises her gaze back up to your own. Her eyes blazing with her own power, but also something you didn't recognize before, something that chills your fury almost immediately. She's absolutely crazy. Her eyes are wide, and there's a madness in them you've only seen a few times in your life before. That isn't the Queen Komand'r you knew, the scheming, manipulative, clever ruler. This woman threatening your children is CRAZY. And as fast and as strong as you are, you're not confident that you can take her out without either her, or that bastard Kryat behind her harming either of your children.

Immediately you take a deep breath, sighing out and FORCING yourself to relax, to restrain your power and stop yourself from making any hasty decisions. Decisions that could have severe consequences for your family. And as she sees you relax, sees you submitting instead of fighting, her grin widens even further, maniacally smiling.

“Yes, that's it. Even the mighty Super Saiyan knows his place. Under my heel.” she says, grinning wickedly. “Now, kneel.”
“What?” you say, blinking in surprise at the sudden change in tone.
“I told you. Kneel.” she says, then taking her fingernail and poking Tomi's neck. Just enough to start drawing blood as her grin turns bloodthirsty. “Kneel, or when you bring my daughter back, you'll only get ONE of them back. And I'll keep the other, to use as I see fit. Do you understand? This is MY domain, MY world!”

Well? What do you do now?

“Tch!” you exhale through clenched teeth, focusing on your trump card now. And with a thought try and bring forth your Stand, Divine Dragon Force. The one being you know can turn such a situation around, that can give you a fighting chance. No matter how bad things have gotten, with your trusted Stand even reality-warping eyes couldn't stop you. And you need that power right now! But, as you try and summon forth your Stand, nothing happens. You call forth your Stand as you always have, but there's just... No response. For a split-second you see only a flicker of its crimson scales, but then they're gone as if they never were. As if she's somehow not only stopped your other abilities, but also stopped you from even calling upon your Stand! “Wh-What?!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4Z5813WHEY

“Oh, you stubborn, stubborn Saiyan. But that bullheaded-ness is one of your most admirable traits. I'm going to enjoy breaking you.” she says, whispering something to your children as she rises. Standing tall, grinning madly as she raises both arms and begins gathering her own power into her hands. And, much like the energy in her eyes, her energy in her hands has changed as well. And as she holds them up, energy prepared, a chill runs down your spine as you recognize the madness in her eyes, the shift in her energy. You REMEMBER seeing that madness, not that long ago. The same madness of the Dark Side that had once broken Chaya's own mind. And looking from her to Kryat, recognize the same madness in his eyes. But his is more controlled, like that of the Dark Lord Bane whose phantom exists in your own mind. “I shall have to show you your place, make you understand who rules this realm.”

“That's it, get further away from them.” you think to yourself, watching her distance herself further from your children, Kryat coming forward as well. As if he intends to fight as well, or at the least support his queen as she engages you. But then, before you're ready she's suddenly RIGHT BESIDE YOU! Slamming her right energy-clad fist square into your jaw, but you roll with the heavy blow. Spinning into a right backfist, trying to turn her power back against her. Only for your fist to pass through her like smoke, her image disappearing. Only for ANOTHER Queen Komand'r to lunge in under your outstretched arm, landing a heavy left hook to the body, right to your floating ribs. Where you feel at least one, maybe two crack from the force of her blow. “Khhhh-?! HAAAAA!”

Snarling, you throw a right knee straight into her face, but once more your attack passes through her image harmlessly. As if she was never even there, only to appear above you, slamming both fists down at the top of your head!

Before you can raise your guard, the heavy blow lands on your head, knocking you down to the ground on all fours. Landing on a knee and your hands, but Komand'r doesn't attack. Instead, you suddenly feel a tremendous weight settle on your shoulders, as if some invisible force is pressing you down. And you can't resist, despite powering up to one hundred percent you can't stand up, can't even raise your hands or knee off the ground as Queen Komand'r leans down, whispering in your ear.

“See? That wasn't so hard now, was it?” she whispers, her lips brushing your ear with every syllable. “This is your place, down on your knees before me. Submit to me, Karn. And I shall show you pleasures you cannot fathom. I shall envelop you in a world of bliss, where you no longer have to struggle, or suffer. All you have to do is submit to me.”
“Don't listen to her!” comes a sudden, panicked voice. As there, in your reflection on the cracked throne room floor, your reflection changes into that of the Sith Lord, Darth Bane. “This isn't real! What you're seeing now isn't true! She hasn't left her dais yet, everything you're seeing and feeling are illusions! Focus! You have to see through them, find the truth!”

“Bane...” you mumble, only for Komand'r's voice in your ear to continue.
“There is no Bane here. Only you. And me. And what I'm going to do to you, when you finally submit.” her whispers continue, the image of Bane disappearing from your reflection. But you heard it, heard him. And now you understand better what exactly you're up against. But what do you do now? How do you fight an enemy you cannot see, cannot sense, when you can't even tell what is real from illusions?

Well?
>Pretend to submit, vocally agree to her terms to bring back her daughter, then return to New Salda to prepare. She thinks she's in control, that she's won. And her arrogance will be her downfall
>Raise your gaze to Kryat and fire your Eye Beams through his own eyes. He's the one who wields the dark side, he's the one probably behind this. Take him out, then this SHOULD be over, right?
>Close your eyes and focus, tap into your Supreme Instinct and unleash your true, fullest power. If you can't tell what attacks are real or not doesn't even matter to you when you're in that state, as your body will simply react
>Tell her these illusions of hers are powerful, but now that you know what's going on, this power won't work on her any more. Try and bluff her, that you have a counter to the illusions and see if she folds. It's a gamble, but it might pay off
>Whisper an apology to your children, then unleash a Red Dawn. Obliterate her palace, her, Kryat and your children, then use Divine Dragon Force once you're clear of her powers to revive your children like nothing happened. If they were ever even here

“Submit? You really think I'd EVER submit?” you say while still down on a knee, letting your Berserker Soul fully rage. Your aura surging higher and higher, the ground, the planet, the very air all trembling around you. But you dig deeper, bringing its fiery rage to the surface as you dive deep into the white-hot anger at it's core, then into the icy rage beneath. Tapping into the quiet, focused, frigid fury at the core of your power. Letting its icy chill envelop you as your rage shatters, that terrible cold power replacing the rampaging wrath as you awaken your Supreme Instinct once more.

“Wh-What is this?” you hear Kryat say, hear his foot taking a step back as your body rises on its own. Standing back up to your full height, eyes focusing. Seeing Komand'r, still seated in her throne. Tatsu and Tomi both still holding her legs, but they've both turned to you. Eyes wide, jaws dropped as, whatever she or Kryat have done to mess with their minds, they can see you now. This power is one they recognize. But they aren't the only ones.
“There you are. The REAL Karn.” Komand'r says, suddenly appearing right in front of you. Swinging another energy-clad fist for your face, but this time your body reacts on its own. Crossing the distance between you and her real body sitting on her throne in a blink, your right hand swinging for her jaw. Your punch connecting, smashing her back through her throne, slamming into and through the double doors behind it on the raised dais. “KYUUUAH?!”

The force of your blow sends her flying before either of your children can hold on tight, so she's launched but they haven't moved. Still looking out towards where you were as Kryat raises both hands towards you.

“My kids!” is all you think, and once more your body moves on its own. Just as Kryat fires a MASSIVE storm of lightning, hundreds of bolts at you and your kids, your arms reach down, grab them both and leap backwards. Landing where you'd started as you slide to a stop, the lightning arcing through the air where Komand'r's throne had been. He ends the attack, seeing you've dodged it, turning towards you only for a sinister laugh to echo out from the room beyond. You hear Queen Komand'r's insane laughter as she flies back out of the room, eyes and hands blazing with her sinister power, that same insane glint in her eye. Looks like you're in for an actual fight after all.

Win or lose, the political ramifications of this fight are definitely going to be a headache. I'm mostly worried about settling things here without killing Komand'r.
Sure, it wouldn't be hard for Ticho or Koriand'r to take up the throne and attempt to restore stability to the Tamaranean Empire, but how's that gonna look to those not involved? Karn already deals with accusations of installing puppets into positions of power at home, so killing Blackfire here would just spread that notion to the PTO as a whole.
Then there's also the way this entire incident undermines Cooler if it goes public, which I believe I talked about in an earlier thread. It's a shit sandwich no matter how we slice it.

Those phantoms are impressive. If Karn put a lot more dedication into learning the use of Dark Side of the force would that be something possible to learn or is this ability comes from somewhere else?

Yes. Very good episode.

Yes, though… perhaps there might be a tiny chance to still do what Cooler wanted.
>Do you think you can overcome their dark powers, or will even Supreme Instinct not be enough to stop them both working together?
I believe in Karn.
> Are you ready to see the true extent of their powers?
Sure.
>And are you ready for the consequences of choosing this fight?
Technically can we still do what Cooler wanted and just leave quickly with kids? If Karn left now it would count as doing exactly what emperor wanted. Not doing anything more than necessary, because up to this point you could say that everything that Karn did in Komand'r's throne room was an absolute minimum. No excessive violence from Karn. She was attacking him. He only landed one punch to the queen’s face in self-defense.

Now just quickly grab the kids and vanish. “You can’t teleport out of here because of Kryat’s magic”. True. However Karn is in Supreme Instinct and just broke out of queens illusions. I think summoning Divine Dragon Force might be possible now. If it works then we will tell him. “Take us to Meloka”. Dragon’s power will probably manage to do it. From there they get in a rush to Raven’s portal and escape. This way Karn will dodge this no doubt carefully planned trap by Queen and Kryat. Pic related.

I don’t know if this will work, but I think there is a chance.

“You DARE come into MY home and attack ME unprovoked?!” she snarls, as from the doorway behind you burst in more than two dozen other Tamaranean Royal Guard. But one look from you intimidates them into inaction, and the Tamaranean Queen Komand'r takes that moment of you looking away to attack. Throwing one of her blasts down, but your body is ready. Leaping back on its own, your focus entirely on protecting Tatsu and Tomi. Even if they're both confused and have no idea what's going on, they're YOUR kids. And you'll be damned if you let that bitch have them. “Guards, send out the distress call. I shall detain this rabid beast myself. Kryat!”
“Of course, my queen.” he answers her, and everything goes black. Nothing exists beyond your own aura, your pale blue-green light nearly swallowed up by the darkness.

Only for one of Komand'r's energy blasts to suddenly appear at the edge of your energy from above, your body moving before you've even realized why. Dodging the attack once more, leaping up into the air. Only for Komand'r to appear right in front of you, casting another illusion. Only for her fist to suddenly slam into your jaw, rocking you and sending you flying backwards. Holding both kids to your front instinctually as your back slams hard into one of the palace walls.

“Wait, that one WASN'T an illusion this time?” you wonder to yourself, pulling yourself free of the wall and dashing aside as another energy blast flies at you. Detonating against the crater your body'd made, making it even bigger. Only for your body to IMMEDIATELY drop straight down, a moment later the unmistakable sound of dark side lightning crackling through the air to ring out in the darkness above you, from where you'd been a moment ago. So far, your Supreme Instinct's kept you ahead. But with so many of your senses cut off AND the twins to protect, this will be quite the uphill battle.

But what do you do? What CAN you do?
>Focus only on protecting Tatsu and Tomi, and on maintaining this form. You're sure you can keep this up for longer than either of them as long as you maintain your Supreme Instinct
>Try and follow the attacks back to the source, you have to stop Kryat first. His darkness is simply too limiting, on top of your other abilities like your Stand, ki sense, and telepathy also being blocked. Once you take him out, battling Komand'r should be easier one-on-one
>You have to get out, use your body like a battering ram to smash out of Komand'r's palace and blast off into space. Get far enough out of their range to use telepathy and Instant Transmission to escape
>Let your body fight as it will while you try and contact Divine Dragon Force. Your stand is the key to getting out of this mess

Immediately, you decide that Kryat has to go. He's the one limiting your options, limiting your ability to fight back. So he has to go, first. And once that decision's made, you focus on the lightning crackling through the darkness above, tracing it back towards where he's casting it from.

“If I can just find him.” you think to yourself, as your body's already moving. Blurring towards the source of the sound of lightning, only for your body to suddenly kick off the ground, launching you into the air. A split-second later there's a massive explosion from beneath you, no doubt one of Komand'r's blasts. And then, from the darkness she calls out.
“Oh no you don't!” she snarls, appearing right in front of you. You body weaves her blow, twisting aside into a spinning hook kick, but her body vanishes. The last one was real, but this one's fake?

“BREAK!” Kryat calls, and your every instinct SCREAMS at you to move, to dodge, to escape. But before even your Supreme Instinct self can move, suddenly, you feel it. Something inside your chest snaps, and everything vanishes a moment. Your entire body is pain, as an agony you've not felt in years returns. It feels like your heart is being punched through your chest once more, as your body falls out of the air. Your Supreme Instinct power fluctuates, flickering in and out as you struggle to remain conscious, much less transformed. But then your body flips, landing on your own two feet and again kicking off the ground the moment you land. There's another massive explosion from behind you, where you were as Komand'r undoubtedly tries to shoot you once more. But your body is already moving, straight towards where Kryat was. “WHAT?! IMPOSSIBLE!”

Using his own startled shout of surprise you slightly reorient yourself, closing the gap with a flying right side kick to the chest as his body appears out of the darkness. Your kick landing flush, and you feel something CRACK beneath your heel. Then watch as his body's torn in two, your charge carrying you THROUGH him in a spray of blood!

“GUYAAAAAAH!!” he screams in pain as you bisect him, flipping once and landing on your heels, sliding to a stop at the ruins of Queen Komand'r's throne as the darkness enveloping the room vanishes. But that's not all, as you rise and turn towards Queen Komand'r, she's slowly drifting down towards the ground, blinking in confusion.
“General Karn?” she asks, head tilting as she looks to you. “Wha...? When...? What are you doing here?”
“Daddy?” Tomi asks, stirring in your arms as she comes back to herself. “Wh-Where...?”

“Tomi!” you say, setting her and her brother down on their feet. The two looking disoriented and confused, but otherwise unharmed as you drop to a knee, a hand coming to your chest. Whatever he did, it BROKE something inside you.
“Dad?” they both ask together, once more in sync. “What's going on?”

“YOU!” Komand'r snarls, you standing and whirling back to face her, ready for her wrath. But she COMPLETELY ignores you, stalking over to where Kryat's laying in two pieces on the ground in an expanding puddle of his own blood instead. “How DARE you! I trusted you, and THIS is how you repay me? You're going to suffer for this. Guards! Take him to the medical wing, immediately! He is NOT allowed to die, not until I'm satisfied he's suffered enough! Is that understood?”

“Yes, your majesty!” several guards shout, three coming over and grabbing Kryat's upper body, searing the wound closed before lifting him as two others take his legs, the Royal Guard carrying his pieces from the throne room. And then, Queen Komand'r turns to you, and you can see that madness from before is gone.
“General Karn. Forgive me, I was not in control of my actions.” she says, sounding suddenly remorseful, regretful even. “I would have never gone after your children. Not after...”

Well? How do you respond?
>Accept her apology, then ask if she has a way to get you all back from Tamaran to Azar, so you can return home
>Ask her if she knows what he did to you, why your chest hurts and it feels like you're dying

>Say that you don't believe her, that you don't believe that someone as willful as her would ever fall under mind control like that. But that you'll let this be water under the bridge, once you make it back home with your family

“Queen Komand'r. You need to contact. Lord Cooler. And tell him everything.” you say, clutching at your chest as it gets harder to breathe. “He needs to know. How dangerous. Kryat is. And what. Happened.”
“Of course. But you don't look okay.” she says, brows furrowing as she steps closer. Raising a hand then stopping short, looking up from your hand to your face. “Are you alright? Can I-?”
“I'll. Be fine.” you say, panting through the pain in your chest. Everything burns, every breath scalding your lungs as you wince. But you've endured a LOT worse training with Milha and her Curse Magic's agony, you can power through this.

“Dad. We need to go.” Tomi says, grabbing you on your left side, Tatsu on your right. Your twins supporting you, helping you stay standing.
“We'll get you to Cauli, but we need to go.” Tatsu says, his concern mirroring his sister's. Then both twins address Queen Komand'r together. “Forgive us, your majesty, but we must be off.”
“Of course. And my apologies to you both as well. Perhaps, next time you visit, I shall be in full control of my faculties, and I can give you a proper tour of my capitol.” she says to them, then to you. “Karn. Tell... Tell my daughter that I... That I'm sorry. And my dear sister Kori too.”

“I will.” you reply, nodding to her. She returns the gesture, then starts ordering her guards to retrieve craftsmen to repair the throne room as you raise your right hand to your forehead. Focusing on your wife's ki, that you can now feel through the linked wedding bands and using your Instant Transmission. Leaving Tamaran behind, reappearing beside your wife and the scared Tamaranean girl in her arms.
“Karn-!” she starts, then freezes as she sees the twins. A tear forming in her eye as she smiles, but then notices how they're holding you up. And that you're in your Supreme Instinct form, and her eyes widen in shock. “Karn...?”
“It's. Over.” you tell her, powering down. Back all the way down into your base form with a wince. “Need. Caulifla.”

“Tomi, hold Illind'r.” your wife orders, passing the child to her as she takes both of your arms in her hands, your chest to her back as she lifts up, carrying you on her back. “Follow me. We have to go, now.”
“You are not permitted to leave. Not until we g-” one of the guards says, looking far more confident seeing the state you're in. But your wife doesn't even reply, doesn't even seemingly move. But that guard is suddenly thrown back THROUGH the double doors you'd both first entered this room through, tearing them both off their hinges and sending them and the guard crashing outside. And without waiting for another word your wife carries you, flying towards the now-opened doors.

None of the other Tamaranean guards try and stop the five of you, your wife taking point and leading you all outside. And once you're outside, she takes off, flying full-speed towards the prison where you all arrived to Azar from. In seconds your wife and children have all flow there, the ring of guards all looking unsettled at your appearance. More shocked that Tatsu and Tomi have returned along with you all, the guards all taking defensive stances. But a single look from your wife stops any of them from trying anything, Meloka taking the lead back down into the depths of the old Azar prison. Your wife carries you down to where you both entered, and as you reach the bottom the portal opens once more.

Meloka carries you through, stepping out onto the Guardian's island on New Salda. Your wife immediately laying you down, as you're now gasping for air. Struggling to even take a breath, yet you remain conscious.

“Stay with me, stay with me hun.” Meloka says as your vision starts going dark, but then you see them. Not Caulifla, but Maz and Kayle. Both rushing over, eyes and fists blazing with Darkmoon power. The younger twins both kneel by you, pressing their Darkmoon energy-clad hands to your chest, and you feel that icy power infusing your body. Closing your eyes with a sigh, you reach up and place your hand on her cheek, meeting her gaze before allowing yourself to rest as everything goes dark. And once again, finding yourself in that endless dark void.

But are you alone? Or is a familiar face waiting for you?

However, as you look around in this timeless space, you quickly realize you're not alone here this time. But as you face the ancient demon god, you notice that, for the first time since you met him, he looks... Tired. Worried. Like a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders, and no one to help him take that weight as it's crushing him.

“Mechikabura.” you greet the deity with a nod. “Everything alright?”
“No.” he answers simply, the tone in that single word telling you everything.
“What's going wrong?” you ask, ready to do what you can. “How can I help?”
“I have... Seen it.” he says, Mechikabura meeting your gaze. And you can immediately see he's worried. “I have seen The End.”

You feel a sudden chill crawl up your back from the tip of your tail all the way to the base of your skull, shivering at the memory of witnessing what lay beyond reality.

“It is so far beyond my abilities, I... I do not know that it can be stopped.” Mechikabura continues, looking from you down to his own hands. And you both see they're trembling. “I know that I am powerful, that I am stronger than most can comprehend. But that... Thing? I cannot stop it. I can barely make it acknowledge my strongest attacks.”

He then looks up from his hands, meeting your gaze. Where you see something you've never seen in his eyes before, fear. But not only fear, as he looks to you, you see him searching for something. A reason to believe that things aren't as dire as they seem.

“How? How do you do it?” he asks, you blinking in surprise. Not knowing what he means, you stay quiet, hoping he'll elaborate. Which he soon does. “Time after time, you have battled demons, gods, beings you by all accounts should not be able to beat. Stood against impossible odds, battles you had no right to succeed in. And yet you're still standing, while most who stood against you are no longer among the living. How do you do it, Karn? What is the secret to this strength?”
“Secret? There's no big secret or anything. It's just...” you say, voice trailing off as you look for the words. “I stand up because... Because I have to. Because if I don't, who will?”

“If I don't, who will...?” Mechikabura asks himself, looking from you back to his hands. “I don't understand.”
“It's really that simple. No matter how big the threat, no matter how outclassed I am, or how out of my depth I am, I don't stop. Because everyone, at least of my people are counting on me. And as their strongest champion, if I don't save them, then who will? No one. So, I CAN'T fall. I can't quit and give up, no matter what.”

Mechikabura doesn't look up as he continues to stare at his hands, and slowly, the shaking stops. His hands clench into fists, the Demon God repeating your words once more.

“If I don't, who will? I... I see.” he says, then looking up, meeting your gaze. Where he's still tired, still afraid, still worried he's not enough. But you also see something else there, a burning determination that wasn't there before. “It is such a... Simple reason. You stand because no one else will, that if you fall, no one else can protect what you hold dear...”

The silence hangs between you for several seconds, Mechikabura having some sort of internal revelation before speaking once again.

“Thank you, Karn. I was right to come to you.” he says, tone softer now. He then lets out a small scoffing noise, before speaking more plainly. “You know, you are the only one, Karn. The only being I... That I can trust. That I can speak with so openly. Chronoa is untrustworthy in her madness, Fu is plotting to overthrow me and take my power, the Dark Factor for his own, and the others... You are the only one I can trust, that I can speak to so openly like this. Here, in this space, free from outside influence. Or, at least mostly free.”

His tone shifts with a wry, tired grin as from behind you you suddenly sense Towa's energy.

“Ah-! L-Lord Mechikabura, forgive me for intruding. I didn't know you were-!” Towa speaks from behind you, but as you turn Mechikabura waves her sudden panic off.
“It must be urgent, that you need speak with him. I shall not take up any more of his time.” Mechikabura tells her, then turns back to you as you turn back to him as well. “Tomorrow, we'll speak again. As I have a... Favor, to ask of you.”
“A favor?” you reply, but instead of answering the demon god simply winks, and vanishes. Leaving you and Towa in the void, you turning back to her. Ready to see what awaits you next, what new challenge has appeared for you to rise to. For, as you told Mechikabura, if you won't do it, then who will?

>>
>>6390594
And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoy this episode so far? Surprised that it was Kryat behind everything, or were you expecting him to be the mastermind behind Tamaran's current regime? Now that Mechikabura has come face-to-face with The End, do you think he has what it takes to avoid falling to it, or will the Dark Lord fall despite his lifetimes of wisdom and power? And what do you think is the situation Towa has sought to reach you out for, will it be good news or more trouble? All this and more, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!
>>
>>6390596
I guess it stands to reason Mechikabura is feeling a little trepidation at the state of things. He's always been the looming threat, not the hero. This is new territory to him.
Anyways, this was a good little session. I'm not terribly surprised Kryat was the mastermind behind this specific plot, as Komand'r is definitely a slave to her emotions, something any Sith worth their salt would be able to take advantage of. As for Mechikabura's mind...I don't know if he has the will to withstand looking into it, but I'm sure he himself is quite aware of that. I imagine that's half of why he's telling us that he actually went and did what he did, as we're one of the few people who could stop him if he's lost to it.
Anyways, I'm sure whatever Towa's here for is another fire to put out. Good news could have waited until we were awake after all.

I mean, if we left without dealing with Kryat, he would just dig in like a tick or go the ground and disappear. Either way, he'd be 10 times harder to kill than he was in that moment, and that puts our friends and the PTO in danger.
>But it worked out, one of the better ways things could go.
Sometimes violence IS the answer. Who knew?
>True. But Chilli might have a different method of taking care of something that can phase out to dodge attacks/spells.
Phasing with it? Delaying and stacking spells via Chaos time dilation? Just baiting an attack and countering with touch spells at the moment of impact? Sealing it inside another stone statue like it was originally?

Dude was presumably eating people, people who could've been *children*. Cooler said we were not to engage unless necessary and avoid as much collateral as possible. Kryat used force that necessitated him getting split across the middle. The only damage caused were 2 concussed guards and a broken throne. And we made contact as soon as immediately possible. He can get mad at us if he wants, but we followed his orders to a T.

The only thing the public would know about this is that Karn and Meloka took a short walk through an Azarian city, then flew right back with their kids before Komand'r made a public appearance and, presumably, walked back most of her bullshit policies enacted over the last few months.
I think this is about as ideal a resolution to the immediate problem as Cooler could have asked for.
>>
>>6390875
>inb4 the our queen is so bitch made that all it took to walk back everything was a visit from Karn accusations.
>>
>>6390906
That's the best part, outside of the royal guards, Meloka, Kryat, and Komand'r herself, nobody actually knows that Karn was on Tamaran in the first place.
Meloka's not a gossip, and I suspect that Komand'r and her people will make it a point to keep this quiet. That only leaves Kryat, who isn't really in a position to give legs to any nasty rumors like that.

The funniest thing is this is probably the first or at least second time Karn has ever followed orders without something going wrong.

>And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoy this episode so far?
Yes. Exciting episode.
>Surprised that it was Kryat behind everything, or
I was actually impressed. It seems he was behind all of it. I mean as soon as he suffered huge injury, the darkness covering Karn’s eyes disappeared, as well as powerful mind control that influenced Tatsu, Tomi and Queen. He was the one keeping everything working. One could think that it requires a lot of concentration, but he during all of this was able to talk freely, scheme, open portals from one planet to another, fight, use force lightning and even remotely cause injury to Karn.
>>6390005
>Voice rough and scratchy before he coughs, a pained sound. One that makes a small smirk climb the corner of your mouth, seeing how close you'd come to actually stopping him before.
Not to mention he was in pain, from what Karn did to him earlier, while maintaining all off those uses of the Force.
>>6390596
I must say Kryat is really good at this. I was not aware he was the one keeping it all of it working constantly. Just to perpetually maintain the control over mind of Komand'r probably requires intense focus. Like I said, it seems it was no big deal for him and only massive injury finally stopped it. He is a strong dark side user and a dangerous one. Judging by skill he demonstrated here I think he might get away from his captivity. Despite being cut in half he is still a threat.
>were you expecting him to be the mastermind behind Tamaran's current regime?
There is one question I would like to ask the Queen. Did she save Kryat from Karn’s deadly telekinetic crushing grip? Because if it was not her, then who did it? It could mean that Kryat was not working here alone.
> Now that Mechikabura has come face-to-face with The End, do you think he has what it takes to avoid falling to it, or will the Dark Lord fall despite his lifetimes of wisdom and power?
After witnessing it, he did not immediately became insane. Many who saw the End succumbed to its influence instantly. He remained sane and his mind stayed clear. Devourer is an awful sight, but it seems like Mechikabura resisted the negative consequences of seeing it. So far it is good and I hope it stays that way. Dark Lord joining the side of Hadar would be a nightmare scenario.
>And what do you think is the situation Towa has sought to reach you out for, will it be good news or more trouble?
Something urgent requires Karn’s attention. Probably trouble.
>>6390870
>He can get mad at us if he wants, but we followed his orders to a T.
I agree.
>>6390908
>That only leaves Kryat, who isn't really in a position to give legs to any nasty rumors like that.
Lol.
>>
>>6390861
:^)
True.
Yes. Having ultraviolence is good, but also knowing when to STOP is even better.
No, he has a... New solution he's been working on. It wasn't ready during the ToP, but perhaps seeing Death from the other side has allowed him greater insight?
>>6390870
Not quite to a T, but as far as Karn engaging a foreign ruler in THEIR domain, it went probably better than Cooler expected. Considering Karn's usual end results.
>>6390875
Maybe. Depends on how Komand'r and Cooler try and spin what happened. Does she admit to being vulnerable to mind control and Cooler had to dispatch Karn to handle it? That would make her look weak and vulnerable, and a target for further mind control shenanigans, something neither want.
>>6390906
Potentially.
>>6390908
>to give legs
Ha, I see what you did there.
>>6390932
True. Karn's usually far more... Disruptive.
>>6391194
Glad you enjoyed. And yes, he's a major, MAJOR threat. One that's not fully neutralized, but now Komand'r is fully aware that even she can be manipulated and will be on the lookout.
You nearly killed him in that battle when he was trying to kill the Tamaraneans you'd caught without ever seeing him.
>Despite being cut in half he is still a threat.
Yes.
>It could mean that Kryat was not working here alone.
:^)
>Dark Lord joining the side of Hadar would be a nightmare scenario.
Would be a game over-tier scenario, if handled poorly.
Probably trouble indeed.

Now they just need the Hand of Vecna and the Head of Vecna to complete the set.
>>
>>6391305
>head of vecna
I remember that story, good times.

Also new patron poll's live, going to be open until Monday 6th at 10pm EST, six days from now. I know I've been dropping the ball on that front, but in my defense it's been a HELL of a year. Been through three transmissions now in as many months, and my car's STILL down. I've been able to drive my car for three total weeks this year.

Do you think this latest experience will change Queen Komand'r? Or will she soon be back to the way she used to be?
>>
>>6390870
>Dude was presumably eating people, people who could've been *children*.
I wonder if this will be confirmed to be true. I'm also curious if Queen Komand'r will want to suppress this information from becoming widespread.
>>
>>6392047
Getting mind controlled by an authoritarian cannibal tyrant into sacrificing your people for his dinner (Or Space Moloch, we don't really know what those bones were for) would be pretty embarrassing, yeah.

Also, don't know if its just the mods forgetting this board again but the site changed Captchas into goofy board-related and site related trivia. not sure if its more or less annoying than before
>>
>>6392056
It's April Fools big dawg
>>
>>6391994
A very good question. I think a better question though would be HOW this will shape her, going forward.
>>6392047
SOMETHING was stripping those bones clean. Whether that was Kryat, or someone or someTHING else, is yet to be seen. And she'll probably want to suppress it, unless it becomes more politically valuable to reveal what happened and that their queen wasn't the one ordering these changes.
>>6392056
Definitely not a good look.
Also, totally forgot it's the first. Shit, should have had something prepared. Oh well.

>>6392056
Would defin
>>
>>6392153
>Would defin
I forgot to fully erase my previous line. Whoops.
>>
>>6392153
>A very good question. I think a better question though would be HOW this will shape her, going forward.
To be frank until Blackfire removes that magical gemstone that made her the strongest Tameranian, but also has been slowly making her more evil and sadistic that she got like 25 years ago, I'm pretty sure shes still cooked. Just at a different temperature.
>>
>>6392153
>A very good question. I think a better question though would be HOW this will shape her, going forward.
Ya know, it's fun to think about Cooler chewing her out and whatnot, but I think they might actually have a pretty important conversation beyond the that of a ruler and their vassal.
After all, Cooler knows what it's like to fall prey one's emotions and nearly lose everything as a result. And they both owe Karn far more than they'd like to admit for not only his intervention, but his mercy as well.
>>
>>6392185
So, I actually went and checked the Powerlevel Pastebin, and while it's 4 threads out of date, it does have some very relevant statistics.
Namely Komand'r's maximum power level is roughly 2 billion whereas Turles and Ticho max out at 280 and 680 billion respectively.
I'm curious as to who on Tamaran is actually aware of this, or if Komand'r herself realizes that Turles and Ticho aren't afraid of her anymore and just don't care to come back.
>>
>>6392211
doesn't even matter if she wants them back, we put a dragon pact on her so she'd leave them the fuck alone. this whole debacle was all on kryat
>>
>>6392185
Ha! While a fair assessment, she's also fully subjugated that gem.
>>6392193
Very true. If either opens up, they might have a genuine heart-to-heart.
>spoiler
Also very true.
>>6392211
It does need updating.
>>6392236
>this whole debacle was all on kryat
BINGO! Komand'r CAN'T act against Ticho, she couldn't have been the one to send the guard.
>>
>>6392237
On that note, do we have a list of currently active Dragon's Pacts anywhere? Like with verbatim wording?
