With the Tournament of Power brought to a close, the Seventh Universe has emerged triumphant once more. Led by the Saiyan warriors, the Seventh's victory was secured. And with the wish on the Super Dragon Balls used to restore the other universes that were eliminated and erased, the final hidden trial was passed, and all eight of the universes up for elimination were allowed to remain. Yet, even with this victory, peace doesn't last in the Seventh Universe for long. As old hatreds rise and long-buried grudges resurface, will you have what it takes to keep everything you've worked the last 28 years of your life to build? Or will those who seek your end ultimately triumph? That all depends on you, and your choices. You the players will (most often) control Karn. >>6457768Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:After visiting with Caulifla, Broly, Maz and Kayle, and Okira with her newest project, the Infinite Library, Karn and Meloka joined Karn Jr to see what he was up to. Only to discover their youngest was attempting to help his other friends attain that familiar golden power. And after witnessing one of them take their first step onto the path of Super Saiyan, Karn and Meloka join Chilli on his world. Watching as his children, your two oldest grandchildren from this timeline spar with their magic. However, as we rejoin Karn, your oldest grandson and granddaughter have both noticed you.“GRANDPA! GRANDMA!” the grandchildren shout, flying over towards you and Meloka. You catching Meloka Wolbach, your wife Meloka catching Kazuburo.“You were watching us?” your granddaughter asks you, as Kazuburo asks your wife a similar question. “What do you think of my new Rune powers?”“Rune powers?” you ask her, your granddaughter opening her left hand. Showing you a gemstone of some sort, but you can feel it is radiating the same divine power as the fountain she'd summoned before. This small crystal the source of her newfound divine powers. “How does that work?”“Oh, it's simple! First, you bathe the Rune in the fountain's waters, to recharge it. And then-” she says excitedly, losing you almost immediately as she speaks on a technical level about her magical ability you can't keep up with. However, what you do understand is that her Rune power is limited to a certain number of uses before the Rune's power is expended. And that she can use it to either summon creatures like those faeries who were flitting around her, or for summoning her different magical weapons and various magical spells. How do you respond?>Congratulate her, tell her you're proud of her>Admit to her you don't know much about magic, but you're glad she's happy with what she found>Ask her how she got that power, how she got these runes and where she learned to use them>Other(write in)?

How'd you acquire them?” you ask her, rephrasing your question. “Where'd they come from, and how'd you learn to use them?”“Oh! A god gave it to me!” she says, your brows immediately furrowing in worry as she talks, holding up the crystal in her hand. “Well, he tried to give it to Dad. But it chose me over him. So Loptr, that's the god, he took us all to another world. Well, a bunch of worlds. Where I had to defeat a bunch of who I thought were bad guys, the... Uhh, Genu... No. Gener... Kazuburo, what were they called?”“Oh, Generaiders!” your grandson says happily, turning from his own conversation with your wife, then back to her. “They're called Generaiders.”“Right, Generaiders.” Meloka Wolbach says, nodding to her brother then turning back to you before she continues. “I had to beat all nine of them, to obtain their runes. Only for that liar god, Loptr, to steal them all, even mine, and power himself up even further. He turned into a SUPER god, and was super duper strong. But the Runes chose me over him, and I was able to beat him. But as Daddy killed him with his Death magic, he unleashed a massive, world-ending monster snake. One that even Daddy couldn't beat. But we, me using my Runes and Kazuburo with the Generaider bosses he brought back, summoning with his magic, we beat it and put it back into its sleep.”“Wait, what?” you ask her, looking from your granddaughter to your grandson. “You brought them back?”“Yep! I summoned them all again back in their different realms, once it was all over.” your grandson says, beaming. “Turns out they weren't the bad guys we were told, but they were the good guys.”“And Loptr was the bad guy. Manipulating us all.” your granddaughter says, frowning. But then she grins, her smile breaking through. “He got what he deserved.”“I see.” you say, glancing at Chilli. Who looks... Troubled. >>6457795You notice the look on your son's face as your granddaughter talked, specifically about the deity fooling them all. However, instead of making a scene where he has to pretend to be strong in front of his family, who need him to be strong, you reach out to him telepathically.“Chilli? Is everything alright?” you think to him, telepathically reaching out to your son. “Something's wrong, what is it?”“I was fooled. I let an evil deity fool me, and let him put my family in danger.” he answers, also telepathically. Meeting your gaze as he continues the mental talk. “I ignored every warning, even my own instincts. Every time I let it slide, and nearly got my entire family killed. Or eaten by a world-devouring snake monster.”“Wait, that's real?” you ask, Chilli sending you mental images of the battle. Of the deity Loptr ascending into its eldritch final form with the runes wielded in its right hand, a massive, flaming sword in its left. And he shows you the battle between that ascended deity and him and his family, how everything he and Meloka tried couldn't stop him. But the only powers that worked on it were Meloka Wolbach's new Rune powers, and Kazuburo summoning the Generaiders who they'd slain or otherwise defeated to acquire the Runes. But as the battle continues, and Meloka Wolbach lands a blow with her magic to strip Loptr of his defenses, allowing Chilli's Death Magic: Dust to Dust to land. And with his final breath, Loptr uses the Runes to unleash the end of the world. As, in his own words, “If I cannot rule the realms, there won't BE anymore realms!” And you see through Chilli's memories the massive serpent emerge, and how all four of them had to work together to defeat it. Not kill it, not force it to retreat. But to simply put it back to sleep, as they couldn't harm it.“Wow...” you reply with a thought, unsure for a second what to say. “That's...”Well? So that when I failed, you all could each take care of yourselves as well as one another.”“Wait, you...? Really?” he asks, aloud and no longer telepathically.“Yeah. I mean it.” you tell him, speaking aloud as well now. “Because of how you raised them, encouraging their strengths, to seek more, to become better, you all made it out of that evil god's trap. And, hey. You've now taken down two malicious gods.”“I helped!” Kazuburo exclaims, you chuckling and reaching over. Ruffling his hair, as you continue holding Meloka Wolbach.“I know. You all did well.” you say to him, gaze sweeping over your grandchildren and firstborn son. “I'm proud of you all.”Meloka Wolbach hugs your neck tightly a moment for that, then squirms out of your grip. Landing on the ground, looking up at you questioningly.“Do you want to see my cool Rune powers? I can do all sorta stuff now!” she says eagerly.“Me too! I got a buncha new creatures to summon!” Kazuburo adds, to which you chuckle, your wife telling them she'd love to see as she sets him down. “C'mon big sis, let's show 'em!”“Right!” she exclaims, the pair taking off and flying back down towards the clearing. But Chilli's gaze is still on you, expression complicated. And for a moment, you think he's going to keep it quiet, not say anything. But then he speaks.“Did you mean that?” he asks you suddenly, brows furrowed a bit. “About you always counting on us?”“Of course. I knew I wouldn't be around forever. And, with everything going on back then...” you say, voice trailing off. Remembering him asking if you liked him, you'd spent so much time away from your family fighting. “I wasn't sure I'd live to see you all grown up. So, I raised you all, you and the other older siblings, to be able to survive and take care of yourselves if something happened to me. Instead of going to the elder twins, you instead teleport yourself and Meloka to Milha. Where you find yourselves in what, at first, looks like some sort of stone dungeon. However, before you can look around, suddenly your instincts scream at you. And on instinct grab your wife and leap back, right as a wave of energy radiates out from your half-demon daughter. Throwing a hand up, activating your technique and expanding your energy.“Barrier!” you exclaim, your emerald energy forming a shield between you and the onrushing energy pulse. You feel that magic slam into your shield, it sliding right off your shield without reaching you and your wife. The magic ends at the walls, glowing faintly with the energy. You hover in the air, holding Meloka as you take a better look at what's going on. Where you see Milha, wearing something black and shiny standing beside a battered woman. Her body covered in welts, cuts and bruises, arms and legs chained to the wall holding her suspended against the wall. Your half-demon daughter turns, eyes widening as she sees you both.“Oh, hey Father. Meloka. I wasn't expecting you.” Milha says, lowering the multi-tailed whip in her other hand. She glances to you, and you give her a small shake of your head as you reach out telepathically.“Don't. She... They're...” you reply with a thought, and you feel the moment your wife gets it. Going from seeing your half-demon daughter torturing a woman to doing something far different, eyes widening as she starts looking around with new eyes as you address Milha aloud. “We're just checking in on everyone, Meloka and I just left Chilli's place. Everything going well, kiddo? Anything new going on?”“Of course, we're doing just fine.” she replies, turning and whipping the well-endowed woman across her chest twice in quick succession before turning back to you. “As for new, well... And, with the way the bloodied blonde woman is looking at your daughter, she clearly found someone who enjoys TAKING pain as much, if not even more, than Milha likes dishing it out.“I see. You two ladies have fun, we won't interrupt your celebration any more.” you tell her, raising your right hand back to your forehead. “And if you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out.”“I won't.” Milha says with a smile, then after a moment speaks a little lower. “Thank you, Father. Both of their voices changing slightly, as now you recognize Tomitsu is the one speaking. “Rather, they wanted to fight me. In my Apex form.”“What? Apex?” Meloka asks, eyes widening in shock. “You all achieved that?”“Not Tatsu or Tomi. Do you think the twins' fusion boost will enable them to get close to their mother's full power? Or will they be able to go all-out against Meloka without having to worry about hurting her? What did you think of Meloka Wolbach, Kazuburo, Megumin and Chilli's adventure, is that a story you think I should go back and tell in full sometime? And who are you most eager to see after this match ends? All this and more when Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues in just under 12 hours at noon EST!
>>6458036Honestly, I see this as nothing but an uphill battle for Tomitsu, but that's probably exactly what they need right now.As for who we're seeing after, I'm trying to catch up with Maza when he's not in the office personally. You did kinda have a point when the option was offered earlier. I also hope he's thought more about what he wants to do in the future now that he's actually got a little of bit of experience in administration under his belt...or tail I guess.
>>6457795>“And Loptr was the bad guy. Manipulating us all.” your granddaughter says, frowning. But then she grins, her smile breaking through. “He got what he deserved.”Luckily his evil plan did not go far.>>6457846>Jormungandr.pngInteresting creature. Would the serpent attempt to destroy the universe like Boo did back then if the snake was let free?>>6457999>Not Tatsu or Tomi. Only I have, so far.” Tomitsu replies. “When they fuse together, in their Primal Saiyan forms, it ascends me to the Apex form.Wow.>>6458036>And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoying this episode so far?Yes. Very interesting.>Ready for the clash of Deity vs Apex? Sure. >Do you think the twins' fusion boost will enable them to get close to their mother's full power?I think Meloka’s new power is in another league. Way higher. Though we will see.>Or will they be able to go all-out against Meloka without having to worry about hurting her?I think she will need to hold back.>What did you think of Meloka Wolbach, Kazuburo, Megumin and Chilli's adventure, is that a story you think I should go back and tell in full sometime?Crazy story, but interesting. They do some really unexpected things, but their life is very interesting. If I get it right from what was said, universe was in real danger from the serpent. They did stop the threat before it could spread, but it sounded like something that perhaps would require Beerus to act (it’s not guaranteed he would do anything, but still).>And who are you most eager to see after this match ends?Koruza
>>6458037Yes. They're about to get exactly what they asked for.True. He's learned quite a bit since you last had that conversation with him.>>6458045Yes, been nine years running so far. My players enjoy what we're doing.>>6458088He got everything he wanted. Unfortunately, he then lost it all.It would have destroyed all nine realms in that plane of reality eventually, consuming them all.Tying in the GT lore, explaining how Gogeta looks so different than everyone else.Glad you're enjoying so far, and this fight is going to be fun. And yes, a lot happens on Chilli's world. This isn't even the first potentially universe-threatening cataclysm he and his family have stopped.
Also, SOON!
>>6458035“Well well, looks like you two CAN go the distance!” your wife calls to Tomitsu, taking her fighting stance. “Give it everything you've got, don't hold back!”“You're strong enough I don't have to hold back?” Tomitsu replies, a twinkle in their eye. Taking a far more arrogant fighting stance, standing tall, gesturing for Meloka to come at them with a crooked finger. “Then come get me.”“You want me to come to you? Alright, brace yourself!” Meloka replies, you ascending to your Berserker God form as well. Knowing you won't be able to keep up with their movements at all in your base form, once they start. And not a moment too soon, as if using the flash of your transformation as her signal to go.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h94qTT0tRYkAnd your wife takes off in a blur, closing the gap instantly. Planting her feet and opening with a left jab to the jaw. But Tomitsu moves, taking an unorthodox movement. Leaning back hard and twisting counterclockwise, the fused warrior launches a powerful right turning kick at your wife's ribs. But she pulls her jabbing fist back, dropping her elbow and blocking the kick with her upper arm and forearm combined. Then she lifts her left leg up in a high knee, blocking the left snap kick aimed at her knee with her shin. Tomitsu using the kick to kick off your wife, flipping backwards once and landing on their feet. Only for your wife to be charging after them, Tomitsu only just landing when they have to block. Crossing their arms, catching her powerful right fist where their arms meet.“Tch!” Tomitsu exclaims as your wife's blow knocks them right off their feet, sending the fused fighter flying backwards. Flipping back once to burn off some of the momentum, they then rocket back towards your wife. Tomitsu's right fist meeting Meloka's left, their collision causing a massive shock wave. One that actually pushes you back a couple feet, the windstorm buffeting you backwards. The force of it actually knocking both Meloka and Tomitsu back from one another. Both fighters landing back on their feet, your wife smirking slightly. But Tomitsu's grinning from ear to ear, clearly eager for this. But who's perspective will we enjoy this fight from?>Karn, watch both fighters from the sideline>Meloka, see how her power compares to the twins' fused might firsthand>Tomitsu, watch them cut loose from first personNo write ins on this one
