Ok so let me get this straight.. you guys are racing to work for free, for a site that makes seven figures a year?I made an open source social media platform that would save humanity from all the problems of social media such as addiction, shortening attention spans, capitalism etc. Literally the answer to all of the world's problems is removing capitalism from Internet services and they no longer have to assrape us with purposely manipulative web design.But people just screeched and wouldn't use it. Nobody would use it, nobody would volunteer to moderate it, nobody would help me with the code.I showed people the solution but the people just screeched in some sort of autistic Stockholm syndrome and scurried back to Twitter, Tiktok, Youtube, and 4chan. They want their cage. They like it in there.
Humans are creatures that would rather suffer together than be happy alone.Everyone knows Discord sucks but because all your friends are there, it's enough to keep using it.

We have an issue with some technology, that people absorb themselves with this technology as a form of escapism. Escape the dreary life, get dopamine hits from likes and interaction with people.
