I started first uni when i was 21 (failed because rona and i didn't study), got my first job and a license when i was 24. Not a feel good wagmi story tho. Im almost 28 now, no job experience, no uni, no degree, virtually non existent social life. Finding a job with no experience get exponentially harder the older you are. I seriously suggest you find even part-part-time job, just to have ANYTHING on your cv and to appease your parents. Were to to attempt something, would they give you at least a little bit of support? They haven't kicked you out yet so im guessing yes?

I live in a walkable Euro city and my employer offers me free transportation with a employees-only small bus that picks me up a 2min walk from my home. I didn't even bother getting my license, because after taking a few driving lessons, I realized I'm too scared and the other drivers are too stupid/annoying. And my coworkers constantly talk about maintenance costs on their second-hand cars and the many times they nearly crashed on their way to work, or got stuck in traffic. Meanwhile I get on the bus and relax with my eyes closed while listening to music on the way to work. So I agree, owning a car and driving in city traffic absolutely sucks.
