Live to eat or eat to live. Which one are you?

The latter. I don't feel any pleasure in eating.

Overeat to live

The latter
Growing up, I was the designated trash can, especially if the fridge was full and they couldn't fit any leftovers

I've had times where I'd go days without eating, at most 1 small meal a day for nutrition
I've genuinely lost like 50lbs over a one-year period, cigarettes helped
>>
eat to live
i eat pretty much what ive scienced out to keep me healthy and thats it
i just want to get eating over with so i can go do something else
im the only person ive ever met irl who thinks like this

live to eat because I fucking love food, but during some circumstances I have so little time I'll eat barely enough to sustain me.

Eat to live. Not that I eat enough to maintain a healthy weight.

Live and eat
>>
I vary between both. I mostly eat to live now. I made a concerted effort to lose weight years ago - dropped from around 260 to 170 lbs. I started counting calories and tracking everything I ate. I still struggle to keep weight off now, despite not eating much. My weight plateaued despite eating 1500 calories/day, even when lifting and things. I started eating more when lifting progress stalled.

When I was slightly obese and not watching what I eat, I would eat what I wanted. I never really ate to excess. I still struggled with weight. Now, I monitor everything I eat. When I look at the calories of something, I equate that to how much I'd have to run to burn it off. That random donut that someone brought into the office for everyone - that'll be a 2-4 mile run to burn it off. I could just as easily not eat it and hardly notice the difference in my satiety or hunger. I am not ridiculous with it though. Social pressures to eat from situations like food in the office, celebrations, etc - seem to always fight my desire to lose weight and not eat anything.

It was far easier when I lived alone. Now I live with other people who either buy and leave delicious/accessible snacks/candy around while offering it a lot, or I come home and have to smell delicious greasy food that challenges my desires to not eat much.

Neither.
I alternate between cooking stuff because I enjoy cooking and eating it mainly to know how it turned out and what to change next time, and not eating for days because I don't know what hunger feels like and get so absorbed in things I just forget to.
>>
Eat to eat and live to live, does this sound right
>>
I eat to thrive, which means eating raw meat
>>

i eat to live, mostly
sometimes i live to eat because tasting good food is one of life's many great pleasures, and i live to enjoy life
so i mostly eat to live, but sometimes live to eat
