I have a friend group that I've been with since early childhood. Our group has always been very hateful towards ethnic and sexual minorities and we crack edgy jokes together all the time etc. But about a year ago one of my friends from this group said to me in private that he has discovered he's bi-sexual. I'm don't remember exactly how I handled the situation then but I'm pretty sure I just laughed it off quickly and pretented the conversation never happened because I felt so uncomfortable dealing with it. After that he never spoke of it again but a couple days ago he sent me some really weird "confession" reels on Instagram that basically made it clear that he wants to date me. He knows how much I hate queer people so I have no idea what made him think I was going to be on board with this. I just called him a faggot and we haven't talked since. I feel like I should cut all contact with him but I don't know how to do that without losing the whole friend group because we all hang out together. Our group has parted ways a lot throughout the years and we basically just talk online these days and occasionally do little irl meet ups but I still want to keep in touch with the other guys from this group as they're my closest friends. Wtf do I do??
