Do you kill spiders?
>>
>>82461761
depends, not if they're my bed they're okay. Why do you ask? Are you a spider??
>>
>>82461784
I mean I do kill them if they're in my bed but if not I don't care but i'm not a spider fucker i promise that's gross
>>
>>82461761
Ugly spindly looking ones like long legs yes.
>>
>>82461784
I'm not, I just ask because I kill them too but some people don't like hearing about that so I wondered if it is sociopathic behaviour
>>
I killed a spider that was in the shower the other day because I needed to take a shower and I just can't be naked near one, I'd cry and die. Usually I let them go, so I felt really bad as I watched him go down the drain.

only once when i'd just moved into a new house share and on the first night there was an absolutely fucking enormous spider in the room and i didn't have any bowls or anything to catch it. i spent ages and ages trying to get it on a bit of paper but it was really fast as well and i was shattered and needed to sleep. so in the end i sprayed deodorant on it to slow it down and crushed it against the wall. it was legit the biggest spider i've ever seen, and i still feel bad honestly

on sight unless they're outside or one of those tiny near-translucent ones, idc about reddit spiderbro psyops
>>
>>82461761
i put on gloves and throw them out the house, unless they are a brown recluse then the gotta die, if they are in a corner in the ceiling they become my honorary roommate.
used to have a truck spider that made a bombed out truck on my grannies property its home, fucker was huge we used to feed him ticks of our dog before she got fumigated and horseflies
>>
no. i just leave them be. if they're small enough, i'll get them and throw em out my house. i don't know what changed but i do not like killing bugs anymore. except for fleas. total flea death.
>>
>>82461761
i try not to unless they look dangerous. i say hi to the daddy longlegs in my garage when i pass him chilling in his web. he takes care of the other bugs for me. very kind in that he never jumps or sprays at me at all.

if they're in my car, yes.
i don't want to cause an accident because i spazzed out because a spider was crawling on me.
in my apartment i'll let something like picrel, or those tiny ones that jump just chill. but i'm not going to vacuum around them, so i guess they're probly gonna die eventually.
the nastier looking ones are basically dead as soon as i see them
>>
>>82461761
no i love spiders, they're so sweet and curious, i'd love to own some but i take care of the house spiders around my home anyway and give them little bottle caps with water in them or bugs i find :]
>>
I was keeping one as a pet that spun a web on my toilet plunger then I woke up and decided to sweet, bye bye little spider

No, they my friends and kill mosquitos
>>
>>82461761
No, everything gets only one chance at life so unless something directly harms like a mosquito, I don't kill it.
>>
>>82461761
Sometimes, if they do something stupid and freak me out. They're all harmless up here and pretty small but I still can't handle them for whatever reason, so when one crawls over my bed or rushes at me while I'm taking a shit or something like that I have to kill it or I won't ever feel at rest. I always feel bad though and I can notice how more bugs are around when I don't have a spider there. I like to think of them as buddies, but they have to stay -over there-.

I once accidentally starved a spider to death. It was pretty sad seeing it slowly turn sluggish and unresponsive. That apartment was just amazingly well sealed I guess, especially considering it was on the ground floor with brush and trees right outside.
>>
>>82463429
lots of spiders starve to death anon, they have like a 98% mortality rate
>>
No they are bros no poisonous ones in my hemisphere
>>
>>82461761
I cum on them. The bigger ones survive
>>
>>82463600
That makes sense, but it had no competition (for my apartment) and I watched it slowly fade away, day by day, right in front of my eyes. That can't be normal. Didn't even have kids.
>>
>>82461761
I try not to, but I will if it catches me off guard during a vulnerable moment (like when I am naked in the bathroom).
>>
>>82461761
i try hard not to

A couple of quick facts about spiders.
Almost ALL spiders are venomous with very few exceptions, despite this, only an extremely small amount of spiders have venom strong enough to have any effect on humans such as itchiness, fever, vomit etc. And if you want to talk about killing a human than thats even a smaller amount of spiders that are capable of that feat.

Not only that but even if you were to come across a spider with a venom strong enough to seriously damage a person, you still wouldn't be in danger. Spiders are extremely passive creatures when they interact with humans. They'd rather hide, run or pray you don't notice them. No spider is gonna drop down from the ceiling and run after you to eat you for dinner.

Most spider bites happen when a spider feels like its about to die, most often by being crushed. Thats why so many spider bites happen when we put our hands in small or dark spaces like our closets. We do't know a spider is there, she feels like she's about to die and does the only thing she can at that moment to survive.

But even if you were to be bitten by a dangerous spider (extremely low chances of this happening as established) there's a decent chance you'd still be okay. Some spiders can control the amount of venom they release and in cases of self defense, they often release minimal to no venom. I mean think about it, is the spider gonna eat you after it kills you? No of course not, it just wants to drive you away. Also, if you ever come across a more aggressive species of spider, chances are she'd make herself extremely visible to you as a warning. So even the aggressive spiders (the extreme minority) are nice enough to warn you and give you space.

And finally some random bits.
Spiders don't smell bad
they don't bring diseases
they are good for crops (they kill harmful insects)
they are a natural pest control, yes, even of other spiders

Spiders are literally one of the best creatures to have around as a human

>>82463679
next time just give it some paper to crawl on and put it outside anon, but that sort of thing has probably happened in the wild before too
>>82463753
>>82463745
the only evilish spider is the brown recluse, even if it doesnt like being near people, since it likes to hide in clothing and footwear

not usually, especially if they are the kind that makes webs. Mosquitos here get awful during the summer, and those niggas are my only hope. I kill the super venomous ones if I see them though.

the tunnel web spider is, so far, the ONLY spider that has displayed aggressive behavior as in, its the only spider that we know of that will actually charge at you, no other spider does this
its also (somewhat debatable) the most venomous spider we know of
it also doesn't help that males will often travel great distances looking for females which means they will often walk through suburbs where people live
but I mean, that's literally the only spider that shows that behavior
>>
>>82461761
I usually throw stuff at it if it's large like a house spider in your pic.
I cannot handle those, the way their legs move and all freaks me out.
Smaller ones don't bother me as long as they aren't coming near me.

Hit it with a baseball bat!!
>>
>>82464010
yes, its spooky but thats literally the only spider that does that which, if anything, should make you feel at ease
>>
>>82461761
nope. i put one outside earlier
