>mfw my life has objectively been the same as it was 10 years ago
>still broke, still no friends, still no gf
>and yet subjectively, i'm not the same man I was 10 years ago
It's weird, like all I did was experience some stuff and made some memories, and I guess along the way it changed my mindset

It really is all in your head

If you want big changes you gotta take big risks.

you are just coping. you are even more miserable than back then and know it.

More of a "small changes that accumulate over time" kinda guy
My mound's still small but it's growing

Ecclesiastes 1:18, anon
I was set up for failure, anon
I'll tell you my story if you'd like but the gist of it is that everything that has happened to me so far has been without my consent

I think it depends what you want it life. If you expect something average, stable job, gf and wife, then that mentality is fine.

If you wanna make it big or above average, small steps don't really work, you have to go all in.

I'm just here to have a good time, man
Make some memories while I'm at it

I'm decent at *making* friends/talking to girls, but I was never really able to make them stay
Could be that I cared too much, or cared too little, but one by one everyone leaves my life in the end
>If you wanna make it big or above average
What does it mean then, to make it big? To have more resources than the next guy? To have a bigger body?

I eat well enough, I jog 5k almost every morning, I'm in school (again) at 27 and with this new diploma, I'm looking at six-figures in 5 years

I've never understood folks who chase material wealth, and then complain that they're unhappy
I've always been... content, to say the least
>>

in a billion years those memories will still be there. they are the only constant. not what you did or what you didn't do. but only your memories. so don't worry anon.
>>
>>82468389
I've decided to worry regardless
That anon was right, big change = big risk
To get the things you want, you have to lose the things you have

Big changes...
