>>82472560It's the natural end point of a two party system. Faction warring is inherent to human nature, and as long as there is an us and a them, division will continue to exist. That's fine, people can still generally coexist in relative peace despite their differences, but the problem comes when the leadership of one or both sides decide they want to fan the flames of animosity for whatever reason they may have. When that happens we go right back to being cavemen who chimp out over whatever our head of our team tells us to chimp out over.
