I've lurked through multiple threads of the same premise to their conclusion and it's the same wheel of rhetoric over and over

I'm starting to agree with those posts recently pointing out that it might be some kind of hopeful obsession with incels. It might be like how a schoolboy will sometimes bully a girl because he secretly likes her and he has no confidence and assurance in pursuing interaction with her any other way. They'll definitely lose favor in or be expunged from their dumbass little group if they associate any other way and since that's all they know it retards them
