>>82476940I wouldn't know how the mania actually feels, but like my brother, I would say you are right. He does get very productive in the first day, but after that it's all downhill. Thankfully he's on a good dose of meds and is more aware now when he's going into a mild episode. He uses them to his advantage and gets harder stuff he needs to complete done. But, he'll still get sleep though. His doctor has him on klonopin for that and he'll take it to keep that consistent sleep schedule that helps.

On the episode where he was up for five days, he was flat out seeing and hearing people making fun of him everywhere that he ended up causing a lot of damage in his home to the walls, broke down his doors, appliances because they were listening to him and berating him, etc. The only reason we knew is because his neighbor alerted us since they were on good terms with each other.
