What is this shitty meme where people keep posting paper job applications with anime girls? In the first place, companies don't offer in-person applications anymore. They tell you to go online, and refuse any requests to speak to a manager or whatever to leave a good impression, removing all humanity from the application process and leaving it up to a robotic ATS system.It's also really out of touch, because filling out a job application is not the hard part. The hard part is filling out 200+ job applications to get a single interview, and that's just for the first interview round. Most jobs have at least 2+ rounds of interviews now. The job market is total dogshit right now, go online and just look at what everyone's saying. Most people are saying the job market is actually frozen right now and no one's really hiring. So yeah this shit doesn't even make sense unless the joke is supposed to be that the anime girls are afraid of job applications because they filled out so many and are tired of them.
