I hate family. Family is dumb, specifically your initial family like parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, etc. The only family that matters is the family you create. Your partner and kids, otherwise family is dogshit.

They think were obligated to love our parents just because theyre our blood, but look at how many cases there are of parents who abuse their own children. Are those who were abused really expected to love their parents above everything? I dont get along with my family, my mother, in particular, is a terrible person.

My mother is a narcissistic manipulator who defends everything he does. It's painful when I see and hear of people with nice normal families who do stuff together all the time and they have that support network that I simply don't have. Then being reminded of how abusive, unloving and uncaring my own family is.
