I think I have gotten quite proficient at Blackbird now! Today I spent some time correcting some errors and optimizing my fretting hand positions. At this point, I think I've figured out how I want my simplified chord progression to go. I just need to practice moving my fingers into position more quickly. After I memorize the lyrics and become more proficient with chord changes, that will be my second song learned! Maybe it's time for me to pick a third song?I feel bad about my middle finger. That was the callus I tore off yesterday. The fingertip is soft now, but it doesn't hurt. I can't wait to grow another callus! Hopefully, this time I won't peel it off again.
