I know where my life is headed.
A younger less mature version of myself would have scoffed at the idea but this current older version of myself has accepted it. It's the most realistic outcome.
I'm going to end up like my parents and their parents before them and so forth.
>I'll live in a single story "starter home" in an affordable enough neighborhood probably in the less fancier areas of American fork or West Jordan if I had to guess.
>My wife is going to be someone on "my level", a far cry from the impossible fantasies I keep drooling over online. Chronically online, health issues likely, and somewhat neurotic. As long as we actually love each other and have an otherwise stable relationship however I think we'll be alright all things considered.
>our kids will play on my old nintendo switch like how I played on my dads old Sega Genesis. Yes they'll be out of touch with their peers. But the thing is if I was able to eventually learn what a "Mine Craft" is chances are so will they.
>I'll work at some office job with the most outdated equipment ever
The only thing that's going to differ is the fact that I am going to enforce cleanliness and a healthy diet. Just because we're not living in a fancy rich white people neighborhood like I did that doesn't mean we have to live like I did.
Honestly. I'm fine with this.

Man. You've described a pretty good life. It's easy to get lost in the fantasy of what your dream material life could be if you awakened your full potential years earlier, but none of that is more important than a wife to hold at the end of the day, kids, and the ability to provide them with what they need.
>Honestly. I'm fine with this.
I'm happy for you anon, and I hope you go after it and make the most of it.
How old are you?
