My mother grew up always screaming at me, I always just sat there and took it. But when I got older & bigger, I eventually got tired of it.She started yelling at me again, so I stood up, and started screaming at her as loud as I could. She stopped screaming, stood in silence & just kind of walked away. After that anytime she yelled at me I would yell back. She stopped screaming at me soon after.

>>82665198>My mother grew up always screaming at meChild mothers @_@
>>82665226you win by moving out and ghosting them from your life, not coristol posioning yourself having to deal with them on the regular, mad stupid
>>82665198I told my mother in a dead cold tone 'when you're old and alone i cant wait to leave you to die in a retirement home' and walked back up to my room. I heard her sobbing and after 30 minutes so of me cooling down i went back and apologized. But i dont think that deep down she ever really forgave me
Careful with this. I developed the same defense mechanism growing up in an insane home with screaming parents. Now I go into fight or flight mode when someone slightly raises their voice at me and I explode like a fucking volcano. Gotta constantly remind myself to stay calm. My parents probably had a bad childhood too I don't wanna perpetuate this cycle of behavior.
>>82665215I wasn't 18, which is when I did move out.
>>82665285>I did move outokay and now she's still living rent free in your head meaning now you need therapy so that she is mentally removed from your head instead of reliving stressful memories, chronic stress will literally give you cancer if you dont treat it
>>82665315Lol you are buck broken by le science. If only your autistic fixation was something productive.
>>82665796>uses psychology concepts to dismiss psychologyenjoy your easily treated source of stress, idgaf but the solution is obvious that talk therapy would help
