Police has a low crime solving rate. Just look it up, often doesnt hit 20% and it doesnt hit 50% for more serious crimes like murder

There was this house in Chicago that got burned to ground and they couldn't solve it until some PI hired by family brought up idea of subpoena apple /google for who looked up address in past year. Scary to think that they would've gotten away with it if they hadn't searched up address. Same applies to guy that murdered couple in dorms he was found by Google search history I believe.


I think Tyler Robinson case blew lid on how incompetent FBI actually is desu. He was only found after being reported by his parents

When I was younger the police were constantly fucking with me for petty stuff like weed, but later it became legal so that stopped. When I started working overnight at a convenience store I got really familiar with the local police. I had to call them constantly for all types of things. People would steal, come in drunk and wreck the place. A girl almost got kidnapped once. And there were tons of drunk drivers. One time these two guys came in and left pretty routine, but 10 minutes later a cop came in asking if I had seen two guys matching the description. Turns out I was the last person to see them alive as they immediately got into a fatal car accident down the road. You'd think overnight would be slow and dull, but it's like a see saw going back and forth between dullness and insanity.

I have hated cops ever since. In that moment I learned cops do not give a fuck about you so long as they have someone to take the fall.

I was assaulted on May 18, 2025, at 24 years old.

On May 20, 2025, I made a police report for the first time in my life. I was assisted by an ex-coworker - someone who had actually scammed me out of $500 back in 2020. He helped by setting up a three-way 911 call.

The police came to the house, and I told them everything. The officer said, "If you see them again, call us," and left it at that.

About a month and a week later, I found out the same guy had also beaten up his girlfriend. A friend of mine who works at a weed store told me about it. Apparently, his girlfriend said she felt sorry for me - but only after she got assaulted herself.

He's an immigrant and was a new hire at my workplace. From the start, he stirred up drama and made the environment toxic. I didn't care much as long as he didn't target me - but eventually, he did.

One day, he came to the parking lot outside my workplace and assaulted me. He hit me so hard that my left eye went blind for about 40 seconds. I had to run, because about three minutes after the assault, one of his friends suddenly appeared - clearly ready to jump me. So I got out of there.

A month and a couple of weeks later, I thought things had calmed down. But on a UFC fight night, around 1 a.m., I looked outside before heading out for a late-night scooter ride - and I saw them outside my place, staring and smiling at me creepily. It was clear they were trying to intimidate me.

My neighbors were being intimidated and harassed by this homeless guy and police only gave him a verbal warning. They locked him up then released him and my neighbor was still being harassed by guy and ot got so bad that he set up camera in fron of his apartment but in end nothing worked so he moved away. Even though homeless guy didn't actually touch him but constant harassment and fear that one day this hobo could shank

Police only really help with after crime scenes and not a really good preventative force in public.
