>needed to take up a hobby because bored all the time
>bought a synthesizer that someone on here recommended because it's "incredibly easy to use"
>it's been months and i still don't know how to use it even after reading the fucking manual and watching youtube videos about it
why is everything so fucking hard. am i stupid?

so what if you are stupid, you will just have to put in more time and effort. i watched a video on something and the comments said it took them 15 minutes, it took me 2 days.

how much time have you put in so far and not just half assed, but truly focused time?
>>
>>82665803
at least an hour a day for like 6 months now
>>
>>82665840
aside from you being stupid what other problems do you think there could be
>>
>>82665861
me being uncreative?
>>

ya than there you go
idk how advanced you are, but how i would approach it is see if there is a melody/beat i want and just play around
if you really can't think of anything yourself just try to replicate others and branch off them

people always say the hardest part is starting, but the hardest part has to be not making any noticeable progress.

hope this somewhat helps and that you continue your hobby, it seems like a cool one
